Super small company
Super small company. I’ve had two bowl blank packs now and delighted with both. The second one was actually a ‘seconds’ one - ie yew blanks that were defective in some way. In practice they are all usable, much more so than I’d expected, and beautiful pieces of wood. The products are well priced compared to many companies, speedily delivered and with the sense that it’s good to know where your wood has come from (in this case the actual tree involved, and its cutting history). I’ll be coming back to them for more.

Think twice if your buying their “ Superior Woodturners Selection Gift Pack”
I have had over half a dozen mixed packs from English woods and have always been pleased. I thought I would buy their “superior pack” they describe it as “ An indulgent selection”. Unfortunately it was pricy plain.
The advert did say it would include a “premium bowl blank” I found a ash blank with the letter “P” on it but to be honest I’ve had far better from their normal none premium pack.
If you’re expecting something exiting then this pack isn’t for you. I will continue to buy from them but I’ll just stick to the basic stuff.
