The car was ok and that was the only thing good about this experience. So many hidden costs and because it is run through a third party Gurin, there are so many more costs than you were led to believe... See more

A great car hire experience
We were on holiday from UK and decided to hire a car for the last 2 days. Visited the Mount Pleasant branch (South Carolina)and dealt with Kristopher Kuncl (The manager) and Imira Ackerson (when we returned the car).
Every step of the process was excellent, and the team was extremely helpful. I even got a lift back to my hotel. One of the best car hire experiences of my life (and I'm 68 and well travelled)
Enterprise Employees negligent in Rental Vehicle Return
Returned rental vehicle to Orlando Airport in early morning. Enterprise had no signage or personnel directing where vehicles should be returned inside area of parking garage controlled by Enterprise. After considerable time, an Enterprise employee showed up and directed me to back up in spite of a hidden obstacle immediately behind me. Then Enterprise charged me for expense related to accident when Company's own negligence was responsible.
The Greenwood Enterprise on US31
The Greenwood Enterprise on U.S. 31 near Rural King was excellent. A smooth counter experience and checkout. Vehicle was clean. I gave 4 out of 5 because the fuel door wouldn't open. I had to fenagle with it for 2+ minutes at the first gas station. And I couldn't get it to open at all at the second gas station. I made it back home with 55 miles to empty. The fuel door did open the next morning and I was able to fuel up before returning the vehicle. But as far as customer service goes on pickup and return, 5 out of 5 at this location. I also saved Marion County's rental tax, which dropped it down about $5.
Still No Reply or Refund
I have emailed my receipt for the windshield wipers to 2 different representatives. Even with many follow up emails they still have not refunded the cost of the wipers. One has not even replied at all to me. Customer service is non-responsive.
Absolutely awful experience!
Absolutely awful experience!
Enterprise sold me the additional car insurance waiver at £10 per day. Paid £70 and they told me that I would be refunded if I had the car for less than seven days. I had the car for five days and, despite requests, have never received my £20 back!
Also, when it came to returning the car, they told me that I had to bring it to them as they could not collect it; neither could they offer to give me a lift back to my home. So, I had to walk nearly four miles to get back home.
Wrong vehicle yet again
I phoned ahead to the Altrincham Branch in the UK to make sure they had the car I needed before I made the online booking (through a corporate scheme) and then went into the branch the evening before the rental to see for myself that the car was there.
Of course, they didn't have my car (standard SUV) or anything like it and gave me a 'free upgrade' to a minibus (with a much higher deposit and insurance excess!)
This is the 2nd time they have tried to fob me off with the wrong vehicle type.
The staff there really couldn't care less about whether or not the customer gets what they booked and paid for. However, they did give me a false name because they knew this review was coming!
The only reason for using them at all is the proximity to my office and the corporate discount.
I rented a car from here
I rented a car from here. I waited over an hour and a half on the day for the car. I was told the fuel costs would be wavered, they were not and I was charged for this. I was also told the extra driver fee would be wavered and this was not refunded to me. When I returned the car I did not get my deposit back either. I returned the car a day early and did not get refunded for the extra day. Ive called and I've emailed with absolutely no response. I got 1 response that they would "look into it" which I haven't heard back from yet since the 30 October. Ive mailed multiple times after this and have not got a response. Give me a refund, you thieves!!
I needed a car
I needed a car, while my pickup was being fixed, and went to Enterprise in Martinez on Bobby Jones. They were fantastic. I was able to get a vehicle in record time. I am disabled and I had dealings with all of the staff at one point or another and they were all good at their jobs and they were caring about my condition and helped me above and beyond. So a good shout out to Shauna Miller, Tyberius Aaron, Morgan Faller, Justice Hawkins and Lamarcus Gaines. Thanks again Team.
Never had a problem with rentals in…v
Never had a problem with rentals in previous years . New management is not customer friendly . They do not answer phones and/or leave you on hold forever . A big power hungry as I was not happy at the the third round of “ holds “ and they said I am not Able to rent a car there now . Hertz it is !
Woefully substandard customer service
I rented a Car at Barcelona Airport last Friday. The Car broke down on Friday night, which can happen (faulty battery). It took until Sunday morning to get a replacement car. I have documented 9 separate phone calls that I had to make to get the replacement. Also, I had to take a taxi at my expense to collect the replacement. Enterprise promised that I would be refunded my taxi fares plus 1 day's rental when I returned the car. When I returned the car, the branch manager refused to refund my taxi, refused to refund 1 day rental and even refused to return my 200E rental deposit because I could not prove that I did not cause the battery to fail. To add insult to injury, there is a big sign in the office that says 'Our number one priority is you' Something of a cruel joke, I think.
Enterprise Council Bluffs , IA…5 Stars
I recently rented a car from Enterprise in Council Bluffs, Iowa. From the time they picked me up at my home to the time that I returned the car the customer service at this location was excellent. I want to especially think Elijah and Faye and the coworker with Faye that helped me rent the car. They were all professional and courteous and friendly and made the process go very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this location.
Ludicrous "admin" fees for citations and TERRIBLE customer service
I've just been charged a £35 admin fee as I apparently received a citation while driving. No idea why, and it's my first ever but to have to pay a £35 admin fee on top of the citation is galling. It takes less than a minute to look up the license and date, so I feel a £35 admin fee is ridiculous.

When I left a google review online, Natalie at Enterprise replied, "Hi, we would like to discuss this with you. Please visit (this link) to contact us. Please be ready to provide the rental location, rental agreement or reservation number and your contact information. Thank you. –Natalie"
Yet when I followed that link, the agent on Live Chat told me, ""Unfortunaltey, I think Natalie was mistaken. I am afraid we do not have access to traffic violations through the Live Chat."
So I emailed, yet there was no discussion as Natalie had promised, which was clearly just trying to look as if Enterprise responds to its customers when they actually have no intention of doing so. Instead, I was told that I am now being charged £70 for a second citation 2 minutes later.
AVOID AVOID AVOID Enterprise. Terrible customer services, and ludicrous hidden prices in the fine print.
I would give them a -10 if I could
I would give them a -10 if I could. I made reservations and spoke with two different receptionist. One was the switch board but then I spoke with someone at the specific location I was going to pick up the vehicle who said there was a compact vehicle available and I could go to this location. As I was leaving I received a phone call from some at that location who stated they don't have the vehicle I requested and they're waiting for someone to return a car today.
They lie to get you there with no car, then attempt to get you into a more expensive vehicle. Then the BS they tell you is the switch board isn't checking at that particular location. Sounds like you lack of proper business communication and therefore your business should be shut down because you simply don't have a clue on managing a business or proper communication with a company.
I had a terrible experience with…
I had a terrible experience with Alamo/Enterprise in Cologne airport. They gave me contract in German without explaining everything beforehand. When you pay with credit card, keep in mind that they are charging deposit and service fee for fuel tank. I had a very negative surprise when they have not refunded fee for fuel tank although I have returned the car with full tank.
We rented a car from the Enterprise…
We rented a car from the Enterprise agency on Buncombe Street in downtown Greenville, S.C. Trevor, assisted by Eric, were the young gentlemen that helped us. The experience went smoothly as both of these gentlemen bent over backwards to make sure we got the car we wanted, that the car was clean and we were satisfied. When the time came to turn the car in, Trevor told us about an Enterprise located closer to us when we called about returning the car earlier than expected which made the return much more convenient. We would rent another car from this location and from Trevor and Eric without a doubt. Good price and great service.
SCAMMERS @ Bergerac Airport
SCAMMERS!
Rented a car from Enterprise at Bergerac Airport. Was only using to get to a friends house and back for the weekend. On returning to the UK, I found that 1700 Euros had been taken from my account! They said that I had damaged the windscreen but the damage was already there. Lesson learned: Take plenty of photo's of the car (all sides and glass) before driving away to avoid this scam.
Renting in Dubai
Renting in Dubai. Delayed 90 mins. Chaotic. Everyone in the same boat. All other car rental companies speeding though customers. Worst experience ever anywhere in the world
Thieves!!
Rented and paid for a van from Carcassonne airport branch. At 6 o'clock the evening before the hire they rang and said they didn't have any vans and would send a refund. That was 8 months ago. Despite calling and sending numerous emails still no refund. Absolute thieves.
