bad support

Overall the host is good, no downtime but the support is THE WORST, took 5 days to answer me on discord and didn't even resolved my issue, then closed my ticket.

Above and beyond

Even though sometimes he can take a full day to respond, when he does get to you the server admin will not give up until the problem is resolved.

Amazing support

Amazing support, Amazing servers.

I've used EnviroMC for several different servers, whether it's a small server for friends or a large server for a community. EnviroMC is perfect for both. They use high-end CPUs compared to other hosts, fast RAM, and offer unmetered storage, making server hosting a breeze. The owner, Nerd, does an amazing job explaining server details that most people do not understand. I had an excellent experience learning about server RAM and how it is used in their servers. Overall, considering the price, support, and features, EnviroMC is an amazing host and a great choice for both beginners and experienced server owners.

Helpful and quick support

Quick and friendly support who were nothing but professional. When I opened a ticket, I had a staff member respond in minutes who quickly resolved my issue with installing a modpack.

Warning

Warning: Avoid EnviroMC for Server Hosting

I recently sought out a reliable hosting service for my Crystal PvP economy server, which maintains over 100 active players daily. During my search, I encountered EnviroMC, whose advertising seemed highly convincing and appealing. After reviewing their offerings, I decided to purchase their premium 8GB plan, specifically opting for the Singapore location. This plan was supposed to feature a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, which is known for its superior performance.

However, after completing the payment and setting up the server, I decided to verify the hardware using the Spark profiler. To my dismay, I discovered that the actual CPU provided was an AMD EPYC, a significant downgrade from what was promised on their website. Feeling deceived, I immediately contacted the owner, known as Nerd, via their Discord server.

Despite the urgency of my situation, I was ghosted for approximately 12 hours before finally receiving a response. I requested a refund, explaining that the discrepancy between the advertised and actual hardware made me feel scammed. Eventually, the owner acknowledged the mistake and corrected it by switching the server to the promised Ryzen 7 5800X CPU.

Believing the issue was resolved, I soon realized that the 8GB RAM was insufficient for my server's needs, given the high number of active players. I decided to upgrade to a 12GB RAM plan, expecting improved performance. Instead, my players experienced severe lag, with the server running at a dismal 10 TPS for 90 players—something that a properly managed host should handle with ease.

I reached out to the CEO of EnviroMC again to address this performance issue. Rather than assisting me, he immediately banned me from their Discord server and terminated my hosting account, causing me to lose all my server files. Additionally, I did not receive a refund for either the original plan or the upgrade.

In light of these experiences, I strongly advise against using EnviroMC for server hosting. The misleading advertising, poor customer service, and abrupt termination of services without due process make them a highly unreliable and unprofessional choice.

I am the director of EnviroMC. I think it’s best that i provide our side of the story.

Initially, you made a ticket inquiring about a tech specs. You received a response in under 2mins. A 100+ message ticket ensued with response times averaging 2-3mins.

I got the impression you liked our support as you apologised for your comments and offered to promote us.

Eventually, you raised performance issues on your 1.20.x server once you started hitting 100 active players.

Achieving 100 active players on 1.20.6 server with stable performance is a feat on a $250/mo dedicated 7950x server; let alone our $20/mo hosting plan.

Due to your performance issues, you decided to no longer use us. However, unlike most customers who decide to cancel and move on, you decided to go out with a bang!
Pay close attention to the time stamps shown in these images showing the invite links you created.

These images show you inviting dozens of users who, within minutes, began threatening us, sending pornographic material, rather uncreative homophobic/racial slurs and other extreme content.

Discord rate limits bots to 50 messages per second. Beyond that, it says “X messages deleted”. Imgur also has an image limit, you can imagine the rest.

As you can see in bot logs from 13:59 - 14:09, it was quite clearly a malicious raid. You appear to even have a cameo in there with your TS pfp.

You then opened multiple CC disputes against us. We’ve also suddenly gone from receiving 2-3 reviews a month total to 20+ 1* reviews in the last week alone from customers in your country. We have <20 PH customers total. Trustpilot automatically removed ~90% of them.

Now lets break down your review.

You first contacted us at 13:57 on the 12th June.
At ~2pm on the 13th June, a day later, you incited and partook in a raid that involved thousands of extremely hateful and pornographic posts.
You were removed at 2:09pm on the 13th June.
You know why you were removed and claiming you were banned for asking for support is nonsense.

You broke our ToS, which you agreed to, giving us the right to restrict you from communal areas and terminate services if we see fit.
Even after everything you’d done, I wanted to be lenient. I personally emailed immediately after your suspension offering a second chance.

You didn’t take me up on this offer. We still have your files if you change your mind.

That is false.
As has been shown in previous screenshots, you first opened a ticket at 18:52 on the 11th June requesting to be moved to a less powerful machine, against our advice.
You were then moved, as per your request, at 19:40. 48 minutes later.

You maliciously broke our ToS. It’s official policy to just wipe your files on the spot without second chances. If you’d rather we follow “due process”, I would be happy to follow official policy.
I believe we maintained a friendly and helpful demeanour throughout our interactions, even with a customer who was rude and enlisted their players to harass us across multiple forums.
Given this, I have no plans to contest the review on Trustpilot, as the screenshots of our exchanges should speak for themselves in how we act towards our customers.

24-hrs Refund Is A Lie

The service was fine as well as the assistance of the staff, however do not ever trust their 24-hrs refund system. I had followed their rules about their refund system and even gave all necessary details they need, but, "Nerd" kept giving out excuses and when I replied to him, he would never reply for a very long time until he never really did. He even closed the ticket without giving any response. This is the first time a host did this to me and this is my first very poor review for a hosting site. Give all of the proof you can give here cuz I took a snapshot of our every conversation. Don't lie to the public.

I've taken a look at the provided email and I can see that an account exists but it hasn't been logged into since July 2023. I'm also unable to see any services, tickets, transactions, invoices or anything at all linked to that account so i'm a bit confused.

The tps is low af idk why the server…

The tps is low af idk why the server has to shut down everytime 2-3 hours shutdown or sometimes after a shutdown it will 5-10min again tbh

Our servers operate 24/7 and we're confident in our machine uptime, so much so that we publish it in real time on https://status.enviromc.host where we currently maintain a >99.95% uptime - this makes me unsure about "why the server has to shut down every time 2-3 hours shutdown or...".
Are you, by chance confusing us with another company such as the free hosting companies who only offer time limited services?

Worst host I've used

Decided to give it a try because I got 45% off my first month. The server was constantly down for hours, I'm glad I'm not paying full price for this, that would be a huge waste of money and time. The hardware was alright when it worked and the panel is pretty good

Technical issues and poor customer service

I rented a server, and it was completely unavailable due to one technical issue. The most frustrating aspect was the customer support. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, my inquiries were ignored for days and i still got no answer from them. Days of unresponsiveness is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a critical issue like server downtime. Prompt and effective assistance is essential in such situations, and unfortunately, Enviro MC failed to provide the necessary support.
