Customer Service is non-existent.

Rang to say EV charger (Mini Pro2) was not working and they basically said its out of warranty and gave me another number to ring.
Rang that number and no-one answers at all.

Biggest pile of s### I’ve ever purchased. Reported a fault on the 16th April, phoned 5 times and still no response. The light on the charger is red so cannot charge at all. I’m now going to a solicitor on Tuesday to take it further. Absolutely disgusting technical support, non existent. DO NOT BUY AN EO CHARGER YOU WILL BE SORRY

Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer service and a defective product!

I don’t believe any company treats its customers as poorly as EO does. I reached out to them in December 2024 regarding a connectivity issue with my Mini-Pro 2, which prevented me from using the scheduled charging feature to take advantage of lower overnight rates.

Despite sending multiple emails and making several calls, it wasn't until March 2025 that they finally sent an engineer. He informed me that the Mini-Pro has a fault and needs to be replaced.

As of May 1, 2025, I am still waiting for the charger to be replaced. When I purchased the EO, it was the most affordable option available, and now I see why.

I strongly recommend choosing another option for your EV ! Avoid this company at all costs!

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service. My Charging Schedule has not worked sicne 14th April, they restarted the EO Mini and the app but locked me out of the scheduler over the Easter Break so I could not charge my car. I have not succesfully been able to charge via the charging schedule since. They don't come back to me and have not resovled the issue.

Dreadful and hopeless customer support and warranty-avoid!!!

Subsequent contact by email, telephone and chat. Promises of call back never happen. Trying to blame car for drawing too much current. Tried friends car at lower kWH with identical problem. Installer no longer working with EO and other installers unable to diagnose/repair.
3 years return to base warranty. How does that work? Last chat session escalated with zero response. Dreadful & hopeless customer support- avoid!

I have got it installed vis Scottish…

I have got it installed vis Scottish power from the fist day is self it did not work. After having the Net Work power reading, the EO engineer adjusted the software. It worked for a month and then stopped. I have sent various emails to Scottish power, but the responses are that the EO engineers are busy. Having spent £2k for the overall cost and I end up with the charger is noting and no responses from EO

An awful product with poor support

I have written this review due to being so incensed by this awful product. Check out the reviews on the IOS App Store.

Quite simply, it doesn’t work and tech support are a disgrace. No support over the phone, and when you tell them the product is dreadful and the support is shameful, they agree! With regards support, I have only ever got one line replied to email. The charger cost over £300 and I was lucky, as due to being able to fit it in a garage, I could place it at less than a meter from a router. At two meters or more, forget any kind of stable WiFi connectivity. With incredibly strong WiFi, the App will connect and remain stable, but it must be a very strong signal. This has to be a recognised fault as the installer video is at pains to tell you to measure your WiFi output, and I have used other chargers at in excess of 20 meters without issue. So when the app does work, the charger is in a continual state of various errors, with EO blaming the electricity company. When I managed to speak to an engineer at National Gird he actually asked if I was using EO and then suggested I give up. Luckily for me I managed to realise just how bad this product was in about 10 days and managed to get a full refund from my retailer. I am a happy British Gas customer and EO supply the Hive unit recommended by BG. The Hive appears identical, and gets good reviews, however costs a lot more money but make no mistake, the EO branded device is awful. Do not buy it. I’ve now switched to the more expensive Ohme and it’s a different class.

Bad company and services


If there was an option to give zero star, I'd choose that. Eo mini pro performance is awful; zero support for customers. They don't care that customers aren't happy, because they have their money taken off you and you have no balance to pay them.

Guys I'd advice that you spend a lil more cash and get a better brand. My Eo mini charger ( still under warranty)stops charging every 20-25 mins, I have done every single thing outlined in the help/support page on the App as many times as I have had this issue but the problem persist.

My charger was installed Jan 2024 and this problem started less than 4 months later.
I have been on to the customer support department via calls and emails so many times since November 2024. They have created multiple tickets for me but still no one has called me to help resolve the issue. My installer told me its a firmware issue which Eo mini pro should be able to resolve on their end.

At one stage, they even closed my file without resolving my issue. It took many calls before a staff of theirs told me my file was closed. He had to create another ticket but still no calls till now.

What's the point owning an Ev when you can't charge without interruptions, can't schedule a charge time. My charging rate has increased as I now mostly charge during the day as I have to sit and watch the car for when charging stops so I can reboot and restart charging. Its a nightmare I have more important things to be doing rather sit and watch my car charge.

At this stage, I am going to fight for a refund as they have refused to deliver to me the service I paid for. Stay away from this company guys.

Zero customer support

Zero customer support. Have a broken charger in warranty but no reply from their technical support in over 6 weeks. This is unnaceptable. I've installed the charger through Energia (Irish Energy Provider) on their EV Charging plan. The product has a three year warranty, however EO Charging is not even answering any of my emails or calls. After 4 weeks in, their "specialised support" sent me two emails asking me to check if the charger was plugged in or not, even though i explained my issue several times on the tickets and to their phoneline support (which by the way do not do anything and just forward the messages to the technical support team).

Awful awful company and poor product

Awful awful company and poor product.

I own a Mini Pro 3. If you're happy to accept multiple reboots to coax it into life between each charge, then I acknowledge that it handles the basics and gets electricity into my car.

However, none of the smart features work. In particular, we bought this for the remote lock feature to stop others using it while we are away. It turns out that the charger unlocks itself randomly; you can sometimes still charge when it is locked; ...

About 3 months ago the thing yellow lighted and stopped working. 3 months. Support is woeful. You get an initial flurry of "acknowledging your ticket" interest but getting any action is like pulling teeth.

They've now concluded that they botched my initial install and configuration, and would I like to pay £250 to have them come out and do it again?

In short, if EO or any of its products are given away in cornflakes, I suggest you try a different brand of cornflakes.

Absolutely shocking level of support!

I've been trying to resolve a fault with my EO Mini Pro 3 for over 9 weeks!

The problem - every night the charger light turns red and it stops charging the car, and doesn't work again until the power to the unit is switched off and back on again.

I first registered the fault on 8 January 2025 but it took a full month before I finally received a response, which was to contact SP Energy, our electricity network operator. SP Energy were very responsive and came to look same-day, however they advised that I ask EO to increase the voltage tolerance.

So on 7 February I phoned EO Support to request this. I was told I'd get a response in "up to FIVE working days".

By 4 March, SEVENTEEN working days later I'd still heard nothing so I phoned again and was told that another message would be sent asking them to address the issue.

Today, 14 March, now TWENTY-FIVE working days later, I had still heard nothing, so I phoned yet again. This time I asked to make a complaint, however I was told this is not possible.

I was told that all I they could do is send another message to the technical support team. Given past events I have low confidence that I will actually hear anything. However I will be submitting 1 star reviews on a regular basis until it is resolved (if it ever is!)

Good product, poor after care and long term product support.

We have had EO chargers for more than 2 years, historically any issues were resolved suitably. We now have an issue and are being told the product is out of date and no longer supported. We were not adequately warned of such a fundamental change nor offered any option to upgrade the product. Live chat was cut off when objections made and not properly handled. We sell 000's of EV each year and won't be recommending the product to our customers in future. We now have 2 x dead chargers and actively looking for a new provider.

App is rubbish

Had the mini pro 3 fitted and downloaded the app in December 2024. App is impossible. Navigating is a nightmare, eventually you arrive at the right screen, no idea how you got there. The app tells you what the charger is programmed to do, but not whether it is actually doing it. We are reasonably tech-savvy but this has our blood boiling. We’ve just changed our wi-fi and have to start from the beginning with the app,which doesn’t respond to the info we’re putting in. We’re going to have to get rid of it and get a different one before one of us has a heart attack.

Do not buy!

Do not buy!! Had one since October, was working fine until 3 weeks ago and now doesn’t charge on off peak schedule of auto.

Customer service will just blag you off the phone and never respond to emails or call back, just kicking the can on you on what is a hopeless product.

I’ll be making a claim to the ADR service through Scottish Power who sell their junk products

Interestingly the only positive reviews here seem very fabricated…. Scam I think

Single handed the worst back up

Single handed the worst back up, support and customer service I have experienced in 20 years of being in the renewables industry.
We have a unit that constantly and consistently goes to fault countless times a day rendering it almost impossible to charge.
Initial service requests ignored.
Found the phone number for them and got initially told there were no faults showing then I received a email saying that it was due to over voltage 🤣🤣🤣 what 10 times a day and there is a spd on the designated sub board it’s installed in on my own house. There is a fault the unit
I have checked multiple times and it’s absolutely incorrect!!! And not how it works. I even got ukpn out who confirmed what I was saying.

I was ignored for 3 months via email till I got the hump and now I am demanding a refund, I do don’t want an exchange or repair!!! I am replacing it with zappi

I have had countless promises of escalation and call back blah blah blah NOTHING

imagine if I was just a clueless member of the public being fobbed of and didn’t know any better, that begs the question how many members of the public are they actually doing this to making the transition to a ev a impossible nightmare due to charging issues that shouldn’t happen

DO NOT BUY EO CHARGER.

Complete untrustworthy company, do not standby warranty ignore all contact from customers. DO Not buy an EO car charger, you will definitely regret it. Had trouble with EO charger under warranty eventually had to give up trying to get any good of the manufacturer, so I bought a Zappi the installer told me that EO chargers are the worst on the market and that the company just ignore all warranty work.

Scammers!!!!

Scammers! Please read all these reviews. Bought a pro mini 3... doesn't work.. app is broken.. have tried to contact them about 8 times over the last 4 months. Not once has anyone got back to be... I'm so shocked that they are still selling EV chargers. Trading standards should shut them down. Not fair as I spent about £600 on this charger. Feel robbed!! DO NOT BUY! Read these reviews !!!!!
