Epic Tales Reviews

I was so excited to order these books and they were suppose to arrive in time for Christmas. Never happened. However, I originally gave this company a 2 star review and am changing it to a 5. We did get the books on January 3rd and they are exceptional.

A whole day at a St Georges Fair in March, Fenland.

Families really enjoyed the sometimes gentle, sometimes raucous storytelling and Epic Tales entered into the spirit of the day with energy and commitment. The storytelling tent was a very welcome and perhaps unexpected addition to the day event of participatory art.

The public were engaged with on many levels and the storyteller adapted his style and content admirably to very different situations throughout the day. Professionalism and experience shone through.

We would certainly hope to work again with Epic Tales in similar and new ways wherever possible.

Our compliments to Chip. All educators, parents and children who took part in the storytelling sessions and workshops enjoyed his performances.

Brilliant whole family loved it can't wait till the next one.

The whole day was engaging for both staff and children. Chip is a great storyteller who adapted to the needs of our children. The insert session was inspiring and our staff are going to use some of his ideas in lessons.

The children and staff were absolutely absorbed in our story telling day and are still talking abut it several days later. I would have Epic Tales back in an instant - the best money I have ever spent as a Head teacher!

Children and staff enjoyed the experience. They applied their skills in follow up work with other schools successfully. They used expression, gestures, sequencing and good listening.

Chip's storying telling day inspired our pupils, bringing the stories to life and encouraging the children to rehearse and retell them with great excitement and enjoyment. This linked brilliantly with our oracy focus. The pupils especially liked the fact that they were local stories and were keen to find out more about them. Pupils shared the stories and parents reported that the children confidently retold them at home.

Very professional company with highly talented and passionate story telling staff. Great value for money. Our kids loved their visits from Chip and got really excited whenever he came to their class. The staff training offered was well received and highly valued and the parents really engaged with the story share event.
