I'm a teacher and I've been using Erase All Kittens since its release in 2017. My students, year after year, love Erase All Kittens and are so proud of themselves when they complete the game. It's just challenging enough to make them have to think really hard, without being so challenging that it's frustrating. My students are constantly giggling throughout the game at the quirky humor. We really love it and are always excited when new levels are released.
I bought this game through Tesco club card vouchers a couple years ago, and it’s still something my daughter loves to play! It’s fantastic value for money, and continues to expand with more levels and learning. My daughter found a genuine interest in coding from this game, and it has been so great to help her play too. The customer service has been great, when my daughter couldn’t login once, we sent an email and got pretty much an immediate response! Fantastic software and would recommend to families 100%
Awesome way to get kids into coding! My 10 year old loved it - especially the silly characters like Tarquin and Boris Buttstacks. She's asked to play again twice!
Have created two accounts to try and access this game for my child. Paid both times. No emails received in inbox or in junk box on either occasion, but they have still taken the payment. Emailed to ask for access, but haven't received a response for over a week now.

I have paid to sign up, I have a reciept proving they have received payment, but they have not sent me the login details that we need to actually play the game. I have checked and it has not gone to my junk mail either. I e-mailed them to ask what was happening and have not had a reply despite it now being a week since my e-mail. My daughter was looking forward to playing this after enjoying the demo but it's just been a complete waste of money as we don't have any log in details.

Erase All Kittens is such a great game! Not only are the characters and storyline a lot of fun, but you’re learning to code along the way!
This is a really fun way to learn coding! Makes it’s so easy and interesting, really great job by the developers!
Wow. Just wow. My kids are obsessed with this game and I’m happy they’re also learning how to code. This is an educational masterpiece!
There are so many cute kittens to collect in this game! And it was a nice, simple and realistic introduction to coding.
Its a great concept and got my 9 year old really interested in coding. It's quirky and funny and engaging.
The reason for 2 stars is that its very glitchy! For a coding game.. it has not been coded well! We are currently stuck on one level because there is an error and I still haven't heard back when it will be fixed. We are into week 3 of waiting.
This is a funny, entertaining and educational game which I would heartily recommend. However, it is also very annoying that you can’t save (most of your) progress as it is now a little too long to play end-to-end first time in one sitting - and the hit boxes of some of the platforms are a little stingy, although that improves as you get used to not being able to land near the edges of things.
(My child's review)...
I love this game. I have played through almost all the levels and really enjoyed it 😁
The sense of humor is great, but some of the game is... not so great😟 ;
I ended up having to leave the game open in Google Chrome for the entire time because, I soon found out, if I closed it, the next day when I logged in all (or at least most of) my progress through the levels would be lost.
This was pretty annoying, I have to say, because this made it take me longer than necessary to complete the game 😒.
There are also some small glitches which can be frustrating and may give you no other option other than to reset your game.
Other than that, it's a really good, fun game - part of the reason why I gave it 4 stars.
For those who are looking into getting this game, you get to control a little two-legged kitten creature in a 2d, exciting pixelated world. You have to save the kittens from an evil newt who is kidnapping them because he is jealous of their popularity (pretty crazy, I know).
I would recommend this game to anyone who likes computer games, animals and spending a small yet engaging amount of time figuring out coding puzzles, only with a small warning about the glitches and loss of progress🙂 .
My 10 year old daughter got totally obsessed with this game. A great example of intelligent gamification of learning. The educational element is nicely woven into the game and it’s fun to watch my daughter learning without realising that she is!
My children absolutely love this game!! It's great to be able to introduce the basics of coding in a thoroughly enjoyable way. My son especially was continually laughing at all the kittens he was rescuing - in particular the hot dog kitten.
Would definitely recommend to others.
This game is absolutely brilliant. It introduces coding in a really fun and simple way. My daughter is absolutely chomping at the bit for more levels to be released. We must free all the kittens!!!
Terrific fun for my daughter. She loved the storyline and learned some code in the process! The Hackable Cards are also a great idea for sending Xmas wishes to loved ones.
Great game! Brilliant that it's targeted at young people to get them into coding. Easy to grasp while teaching the basic concepts, would definitely recommend!
The students at our all-boys middle school had a blast playing Erase All Kittens. It's an imaginative, beautifully designed and fun way to introduce CSS and HTML basics. They enjoyed all of the quirky details, especially collecting all of the cute and funky kittens.
Really fun and educational with just the right amount of challenge, so excited for the new levels
Having worked with EAK since it's inception - EAK has gone from strength to strength and each time students are introduced to it the excitement and engagement is unreal. Students are always enthused and keen to learn more even outside the classroom - EAK most certainly is successful at engaging students into the world of coding!
