Got called out to a job in Keswick…

Got called out to a job in Keswick Henry’s diner never been paid and invoices just keep bouncing back. And I’m going to invoice site directly they can take it up with this company don’t ever do any work unless they pay you upfront especially sub contractors

We are a plumbers called out for a job. We have never been paid, nobody answers the phone and emails to them always fail. NO engineers should work for this company EVER as you will not get paid. Been 7 months

Overpriced and incompetent

One star, for the quick response. Otherwise terrible. Paid in advance (no other option) for boiler service and to repair a loss of pressure problem. They completed the service, no problem. Happy with that. Engineer failed to diagnose the cause of the pressure drop and left my tenants to it. No feedback, no ownership of the problem. I had to find another company to come and start again, they found the fault straight away and completed the repair. Erg would only visit if they were paid in advance, and took advantage of this. Offered no refund for the repair, despite multiple attempts by me.

Under no circumstances use this company. If you are a tradesperson please do not do any work for them as you will not get paid! Scam company previous featured on cowboy builders. Need i say anymore?

£200 to change a fuse and leave my boiler still unserviceable!

TERRIBLE, DO NOT USE!!! I was an idiot to use these people but felt pressure due to having no heating. They needed money up front which was the first alarm bell that I missed. It cost me £200 for them to send an electrician over to change a single fuse in my boiler.
I rang up complaining that the problem hadn't been solved as the boiler still didn't work and they were meant to send a gas boiler engineer and not a normal electrician. I found a local tradesmen to help instead for a quater of the price.

This company has no ethics. Customer service are rude and don't help. They will milk you for money and leave you without help. Please use any other company. They routinely change the companies name after all the terrible reviews flood in.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. I always try to use local trades people. The number showing was local but unbeknown to me I was put through to a call centre out of my area. My problem was my boiler. The guy who came out was great but had to come back again to fit the parts he had to order. Altogether to fix my boiler cost me just short of £1000. Over half was the cost of parts. The plumber told me I was ripped off as the parts were no where near that price and the labour was nearly £165 each time. I panicked as I needed hot water and heating but should have read the reviews before as I certainly wouldn't have used them.

ive worked for this company they didn't pay what they owe me I received a letter to say they were going in to liquidation any tradesperson or customer avoid at all cost kerri fryer should be ashamed of herself so should the owner of the company if your looking for someone look at able avoid ERG

A word of warning...

A word of warning...

This company use local tradespeople to perform the work you book. They charge you upfront but delay and eventually don't pay the tradespeople they use. This is why so many of you get a poor service. You are being overcharged for this too. For the first hour call out fee you pay, the tradesperson is lucky if they get half. You will get no better service than going direct to a trade. Ask for recommendations from people you know, don't go to middlemen rip off merchants like these.

Avoid at all costs.

Booked in good faith for an engineer to come and fix my boiler. Engineer arrived 24hrs late and just flicked a switch and went. I was charged twice for work and when questioned was told a refund had been processed. To date no refund has been processed. When you call the number no longer exists- absolutely shocking service and probably no surprise that the company in this format no longer exists. If they are setting up again avoid at all costs.

Fraud - ERG cost me £4000

This company no longer exists - They took £4000 for a boiler from me a few days before going Bankrupt - they never delivered the boiler

They knew the financial situation they were in and were comfortable to defraud me of £4000
They have now set up as ERG HOME - they appear to have a history of doing this AVOID THEM

This company is now in liquidation

I recently had a regrettable encounter with ERG as a contractor, and unfortunately, I am compelled to share my negative experience. Despite completing the agreed-upon work, I have not received payment from ERG for my services.

Initially, I had high hopes when I started working with ERG, as they appeared to be a reputable company with promising projects. However, my opinion quickly changed when it came time to discuss compensation. Despite submitting all deliverables within the specified timeframe and meeting all the requirements, ERG has failed to fulfill their financial obligations.

I have made numerous attempts to communicate with the company's representatives regarding the delayed payment. Unfortunately, I have been met with unresponsiveness and excuses, which only further added to my frustration. It is incredibly disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior from a company that claims to value their contractors.

As a contractor, I rely on timely payment to sustain my livelihood and continue providing quality services. ERG's failure to compensate me for the work completed has not only caused financial strain but has also left a lasting negative impression on my overall experience.

I strongly advise other contractors to exercise caution when considering working with ERG. Their lack of integrity and failure to honor their contractual obligations is both disappointing and unprofessional. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a warning to others and encourages ERG to rectify their payment practices.

While it is unfortunate to share such a negative experience, it is crucial to highlight instances where fair and ethical treatment is compromised. I hope ERG takes this feedback constructively and takes immediate action to address their payment issues with contractors.

Absolutely atrocious company scammers, Cowboys

Absolutely atrocious company. After booking an appointment for Electrician that was due to arrive between 12 and 4 pm. In the afternoon. They arrived 15 minutes before 4 pm and expected to continue to carry out the work for two hours onwards. After cancelling, they have not given me my money back after stating they can come back to finish the work at an appropriate time not 15 minutes before the deadline. Also I never received an email confirmation of the booking and they just charged my card without my consent. They tell you that to book in advance they need your card details spoke to the managers and they confirmed my refund within 14 days I have not received no refund. I’ve tried to ring the company. Their number does not work no more. I’ve tried to go on the website. The website does not exist. No more. This is a complete scam of a company cowboy company and I will be taking this further through the consumers rights act and small claims court!
