Slimy business practices

If you're ordering from outside of the U.S. be careful of their disingenuous tactics.

They want you to be stuck with the product, on the checkout page they clearly write

"Courier shipping from Taiwan - import fees charged on arrival FREE"

I can't attach a screenshot, but that is the only thing that refers to customs during checkout. And after you're hit with the massive customs fee, they say we have notes saying there are import fees, the "FREE" in all capital next to the "import fees charged on arrival" actually refers to the "Courier shipping from Taiwan". Totally not on purpose.

So just save yourself from the slimy USA businesses and don't order

Highly Recommend

I've been using ErgoDox EZ for about two years now and recently encountered a hardware issue. Thankfully, Mike from customer support was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. After trying some troubleshooting, they shipped a replacement part to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick delivery, and the replacement process was easy and smooth.

Overall, I had a really great experience with ErgoDox EZ and their customer support, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable ergonomic keyboard.

Great product and customer service

Whilst delivery takes a few weeks to the UK due to the keyboard being custom built and shipped from Taiwan, it was still way quicker than estimated, and arrived approx 48hrs after dispatching via UPS. I ordered an Ergodox-Ez which worked perfectly initially but developed a problem later when I changed the switches. Tisha in support was superb, had me test a few things, before dispatching a replacement and its all working great.

The keyboard is really comfortable to use, hasn't taken long to pickup as I was already used to Microsoft's ergonomic keyboard which splits the hands anyway, but remapping keys to the place that makes most sense and feels most natural makes it very easy to remember and get used to.

Expensive but well worth it for a premium product and support.

I bought the Moonlander Mark 1

I bought the Moonlander Mark 1. The product is well built, and has great features (as mentioned on their website) but I won't bother writing down what they have already.

Still, you might regret buying it. Why?
- It's hard to know you'll find those features useful. There are people who regret buying it an Ergodox keyboard on reddit, and looking to recover their money from this purchase.
- Its difficult to get used to. When you're using the keyboard to work, your productivity may take a huge hit. The learning curve is steep.
- The import duty on this makes the overall product cost around £360, so its even more expensive than the website.
- The design states you can use it for multiple hand sizes. Sure, but if you have small hands, then you can't have the keyboard tilting outwards, since you've got the thumb area bent upwards instead of bent downwards.

I'll keep it for the next 2 months and try to use it. Otherwise I will try to sell it.
