i used to get my boiler serviced??
i used to get my boiler serviced??? each year by warm home scheme under stockton council and HVE. about 4 years ago MARTIN serviced it quite good! not to many problems but even then left problems brewing. coming forward a couple of years another one came, tall lad, who did not seem to know hwat he was doing within his stage by stage book and again inspite of being told that some problems were brewing, he left it. This time we got another one out after the thermosatic control unit would not work, he kind of got it working but yet again left the boiler now with major faults, could not do it, he said, i have serviced it accoring to its number and it is ok, but there was glaring faults occuring like the pressure gauge right to the top on hig, he could not do this and left. He came back again un-announced! and again left without solving the problems but then left it with another fault and leaking from what he had done and left! He said.....i just have stopped the service and reported it to the manage for repair but i did not, i am sorry??? So now, due to all of that we had to arrange for a new boiler that cost or is costing us A LOT! but it is fantastic and so are the REAL engineers who promise now to look after us for ever. Question is: what is wrong with the others??? The staff there said repeatedly they would contact me............no, i had to repeatedly contact them, but nicky EVENTUALLY tried to do this but failed AND NEVER bothered to phone back since..............bad service be carefull people
