This tour did everything I wanted it to do: it was inexpensive; it handled transportation and accommodations; it handled tickets to major attractions. The premium hotel package was worth it , camaraderie with other travelers, the flamenco show, river cruise was top. I think the tour descriptions are a perk, but there was not much storytelling, just quick facts.

Enjoyed the tour. The overall area was quite large to see-a lot of road time. Luisa, the bus driver and the local guides were very nice and patient. A tour that focused on 2 or 3 metro areas with more local activites would be an alternative idea.

A brief look at a number of excellent places. The itinerary had some long days but that was to be expected. We chose the slightly more up market accommodation and was not disappointed. Thankyou. Biggest fault of ours was to choose a trip with two different languages- this was our choice, I did not think this would matter but it certainly made every thing much longer and became difficult to concentrate.

This was not a traditional group tour experience. We were alone in our Hotel and there was no tour guide from the company. The tours are run by a different company that operates from the street and includes different people with ever experience. We did find the Hotel to be comfortable and quaint. The driver picking us up at the train station was very helpful as was the ride to the airport. Public transportation is the way to get around Paris and to your destinations. We were given tickets for the boat ride and told to go whenever we wanted. Jonathan

A great tour covering the highlights of Turkiye, at least for me! There are some good options in Cappadocia, including the hot air ballooning, which can be subject to weather, but went ahead for us and was one of the amazing highlights of this trip! Turkiye is spectacular!

Reliable puck-ups and great night tour in Athens. Hotels were nice but a bit out of the way.though that worked out ok because we like walking. All around very good.

The itinerary appealed to my travel interests for Türkiye, the pace was good and varied learning new civilisations and Türkiye history at every city. Cappadoccia hot air balloon ride was a highlight as well as visiting the capital Ankara’s Ataturk mausoleum. The guide we had, Nilufer, was experienced and had to navigate an unexpected day of road closure due to an annual cycling competition - she went out of her way make sure all travellers were happy with a new agenda and persevered to re-enter Ephesus three times for us despite road closures. Whilst Ephesus was historically impressive on our final try, we were recommended to a historical theatre sight off the beaten tracks in Miletus which was more impressive. Highly recommend this tour itinerary - Crown Plaza Nevşehir accommodation was exceptional. Could improve on first dinner on the first day - provide travellers with the choice of roast beef or traditional Turkish kebab as I had paid for a Turkish experience and its food. Bus could be more comfortable as we spent a great deal of time being transported from one city to the next, longest ride being 610km in one day. Abdullah was a Very knowledgeable guide. With the exception of hotel in Pammmukle all the hotels were clean and had helpful staff. I feel the buffet meals in the evening cater for alll. Breakfasts always had a range of foods. Bus was comfortable, free bottle water daily. Entering sites of interest was very organised and we were always told what to expect and usually had enough time to view places of interest. For those less mobile there were options for them. A small group of 14 people in our tour was a bonus, particularly using toilets.

We booked Eskapas' Best of Italy and France Tour, and were incredibly disappointed with the service provided.

The Eskapas website indicates "Our groups are mid-size to give you a better experience but also to offer a competitive price", there are reviews indicating folks made new friends with their group, and the tour listed a maximum group size of 40 people.

This does not actually mean their tours are guided, group experiences. You will be handed a PDF of documents and be expected to execute on an itinerary of transit and half day tours filled with people you will never see again. This model only works if the tour company is actually providing accurate information. Instead, the itinerary was wrong (either time or location) on almost every single item.

Tour information provided was inaccurate:
- We were 25 minutes late for a tour because we were given the wrong location and time, and it was only through the kindness of the direct tour operator that we were able to join the tour at all.
- Information for another tour was entirely inaccurate. After speaking with Eskapas, it became clear they were well aware of the inaccuracies but had not bothered to communicate an updated itinerary, despite being asked directly for further information.
- We would have missed two more tours had we not contacted the companies providing the tour directly, which we were only able to do after asking repeatedly for original confirmation documents from the direct tour providers given the frequency of Eskapas failings.

Not a single tour in the itinerary was accurate - each was at a different time, to different places, or departed from a different start location.

Car transfers failed to arrive:
- Drivers were told incorrect pick up times, leaving us waiting until we ultimately found other means of transport to our destinations.
- On one occasion, we were then bombarded with a slew of messages from the driver over an hour after our train had arrived. Despite Eskapas knowing that we had already found our own way to the hotel, they clearly had not bothered to inform the car service that the pickup was no longer necessary.

Attention to detail was nonexistent:
- We arrived at our final hotel only to be told they had no record of our reservation. We finally found the reservation in their system, made for 2026 instead of 2025, and got very lucky as it was not peak season so they could still accommodate us.

After we complained about this stressful and chaotic experience, we asked for a partial refund given it was so unprofessional and different from what was advertised. Eskapas gave us a laughable (2.5%!) refund and claimed that no compensation was required for tours that were "completed", regardless of whether we missed half the tour due to their errors and reluctance to put us in touch with the people they bought all the experiences from.

I cannot underscore enough how much I wish we had just planned our own vacation. Eskapas provided an experience equivalent to an overpriced, under communicative, incompetent travel agent. Something went wrong every single day of our trip, things which were entirely avoidable had Eskapas been competent enough to provide the services they are marketing.

Save your money, save yourself an unquantifiable amount of stress, and book with literally anyone else.

I did a day-long birding tour outside of Istanbul with Dogan Bilge, an experienced birder and brilliant photographer. He brought me to some amazing sites in woodlands and waterways in the Istanbul area, and was knowledgeable and kind and very responsive to my interests. I have gone on birding tours around the world, and my Eskapas guide Dogan Bilge was one of the best guides I have ever had! I do suggest that you go on your Turkish birding tour soon: there are very few areas that are protected from commercial development, and bird habitat is seriously threatened. The staff/managers at Eskapas were very helpful, and the price of the tour was quite reasonable- highly recommended!

Turkish leg of the trip was fantastic. Nilufer is a great guide, knowledgable and she provided personalised care. The tour of turkey covered all the places we wanted to visit and more. Recep was an excellent driver, smooth and safe driving.
5 stars for the Turkish trip. The Greek leg of the tour could be improved. Things that can be improved by Eskepas...provide updated itinerary when changes occur to hotels, pick up points, itinerary etc.

Nilufer was the guide in the Turkey portion of the Turkey/Greece trip (The Great Odyssey) by Eskapas. She was fantastic! She personable, kind, & made sure we were comfortable. She was considerate and thoughtful of us, especially it came looking for places to eat along the way as we traveled all thru Turkey. So much to see and so much to learn about Turkey. She was very knowledgeable. She made our trip enjoyable. It was a tour of between 7-9 people and we rode in a comfortable/roomy van. We were offered water bottles regularly.

The hotels varied in every place, between 3-4 stars. They were comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at our Ankara hotel. There was a change. It was probably a 4-5 star hotel, too bad it was only for 1 night.

The driver made sure everyone’s bags were all accounted for too. He was a good driver!

It was a great travel experience overall! She is highly recommended!

From the moment I booked Eskapas have kept in touch. I loved the itinerary and the tour was just as described. Met very late at night at Istanbul airport as promised and given details of tour start. Liked the comfortable van with both usb and wifi! Bottled water given out every day. A plus. Tour guide Kinac had lots of knowledge and answered all our questions, but he was also personable and thoughtful of our needs. Definitely recommend Eskapas.

The guides depth of knowledge and enthusiasm made this tour fantastic. Good itinerary, covers all top areas I wanted to visit. Long days broken up with sensible stops for food, coffee & WC. The shopping stops were high quality offerings, and I made considered purchases at each one. Atmosphere among our group was friendly and we shared quite a few laughs despite 2 language groups. Hotel choices were mostly high quality & meals provided offered wide choices & always plenty. The balloon flight over Cappadocia was unforgettable highlight. The balloon company tho, should have provided updates on weather delays to all waiting groups, not just some- seems a bit disorganised but definitely not on the flight which was professionally managed.
Overall a wonderful trip where lasting memories were made.

The only low point of the tour was when we first arrived at the airport, and no one was there to meet us, and we didn’t have a phone number to call to let them know we had arrived, although I did give my itinerary for the flight in advance. The hotels we stayed at were excellent, the food was delicious, the staff was helpful and professional, the rooms were comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay at each, and everyone of them. The transportation was very good, and the drivers made us feel safe and comfortable. Our Tourguide, Osgur, was beyond exceptional. He was very knowledgeable about all the destinations we went to and their history. He guided us to the best locations at each destination, with a detailed explanations of every point of interest. We were fascinated by the prehistoric, historical, and modern turkey, that we were introduced to. We enjoyed the cave hotel, Utopia, which we found delightful and going ballooning in Capadocia, which was beyond amazing. The mystery of the underground cities in the Capadocia area was explored, and many of our questions were answered about that ancient way of life. I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family who wish to learn about turkey and its history and culture. The cultural night was amazing and we really enjoyed the different types of dancing and music, and how much the attendees at the dinner were enjoying them. The entertainers had everyone engaged, and it was a joyful event. It was just another experience that made this tour very special to us.
