Fantastic Service from Essex Roofing. The job was easy to arrange. They did exactly what they said they would. A perfect job with no nonsense. And best of all when you call they answer the phone. I want to say service the way it used to be, but it's modern.

The utility roof to the rear of my house need replacing, as it was an old corrugated asbestos sheet roof shared with next door. Jeff and the team did a fantastic job of removing the old asbestos roof, and raising the pitch and fitting a new roof tiled to match the main building. Turned up when they said they were going to, polite staff, minimal mess for what was really quite a big job and very trustworthy. I was very happy with the result. Would definitely use again.

This is the first time ive used this company, and they certainly didn't disappoint! Great communication from start to finish! Joey and Harry were very polite and hardworking chaps and kept me informed all the way! Very pleased with the work done on my roof and will definitely use them again!

Lewis and his team have done multiple jobs on my house. I’m really pleased I found them as they have been nothing but professional and honest.

The initial consultation was really helpful and they adapted to some changes even in the day they did the work.

They did get their dates muddled and turned up a few days early, but it didn't cause any issues and the worm was completed to a high standard, fixing some other bits that they noticed while working on the roof.

Essex Roofing Limited had earlier (March 2024) replaced four rooflights on behalf of Velux: this work had been completed on programme in a very professional manner, with minimum inconvenience to us. Lewis was personally involved throughout and kept us informed of progress, order of works etc.
Subsequently, we experienced a roof leak emanating from a failed chimney flashing on a separate roof from the Velux works. Once again, Lewis acted promptly and professionally, identifying the problem, proposing the solution and carrying-out the work required.
I would not hesitate to recommend Essex Roofing Limited.

Many thanks to Joe and Chris for doing a great job on my roof. They were very polite and professional, explaining to me every steps and answering with patience all my questions. They were punctual and very thorough. They even kindly removed two obsolete tv aerials from the wall after I told them that I am concerned it could damaged my windows if there’s strong winds. I would have no hesitation in recommending Essex Roofing. Lewis and his team have been amazing throughout the installation of our replacement velux windows. We even had to have some considerable remedial work carried out which Lewis arranged without any issues. Extremely happy with the work carried out and it looks fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Following inspection and agreed quote. Failed on turning up. Excuse after excuse followed. Why they receive 5 stars is questionable there again so few reviews to make a reliable judgement on performance. (In response to the reply from Essex to me) 2x dates to start the works had been missed and I had to chase on both ocasions for the explanation. I do not appreciate taking 2 days off work.

Out of about eight the ONLY company that seemed to WANT to respond to enquiry. Kept in touch, updated and attended site when promised. Recommended.
