Great experience for the price

The entire process was simple. You reach out to them and they communicate via WhatsApp, asking you to send pictures so they can get a basic idea of how many grafts you will need.

Once your flights are booked, your appointment is scheduled and the hotel is included in the price of the procedure.

Communication was not over the top, but for the price I was not expecting this to feel like the Ritz Carlton. People who expect that level of service, especially at this price point, usually do not have the resources for it in the first place and tend to be entitled.

Taxi service was also included in the price. The driver was friendly and punctual for every pickup and drop off.

As far as the clinic goes, I would describe it as an in and out experience. If you are expecting to be pampered and have your hand held the entire time, go to a large clinic in Turkey or pay 15 to 30k in the United States to get that level of attention. You will not get that here.

The staff were friendly throughout the experience. Every employee I interacted with was from Turkey. One thing I did not realize beforehand is that using a credit card comes with a 10 percent upcharge.

They also offer PRP after the procedure and I would strongly recommend it. The science is clear regarding the healing benefits of PRP, and with something as fragile as a hair transplant, you want to do everything possible to ensure graft survival.

The procedure itself was close to 8 hours, so prepare for a very long day in a chair. After graft extraction, I was given a 15 minute break to eat a sandwich and drink some juice. I was hesitant about eating it, but it was actually really good and I ate the entire thing before we got back to work on the implants.

They numb you well, so the procedure is mostly painless. The first few injections are a little spicy, but nothing unbearable. They just remind you that you are alive.

At the end, they provide all required medications along with written instructions for the next 10 to 14 days, which is the most critical period for the new follicles to take root.

The hotel is a hotel, if you know what I mean. If my wife had been with me, we would have stayed somewhere nicer, although plenty of couples do stay there for procedures. Bring your own shampoo and soap if a tiny bar of soap is not enough for you.

I travel around 250 days a year for work, and pillows can make or break my comfort. While the hotel was not 4 star or higher, the bed and pillows were more than sufficient. The mini split worked perfectly and I was able to keep the room at my preferred temperature for the entire 3 day stay.

There are plenty of food options within walking distance of the hotel, which made things very convenient since I chose to spend most of my post procedure time resting.

I had my procedure on Saturday, took Sunday off, returned Monday morning for my first wash, and was then shuttled to the airport to head back to Texas. After 3 weeks, I have had zero issues. My hairline looks great and I am now going through the normal regrowth phase.

I highly recommend this clinic for anyone who does not want to fly 13 hours to Turkey and also does not need constant hand holding. If you are realistic about expectations, this place delivers exactly what it promises.

Hotel was not the best

Hotel was not the best. Slight language barrier to deal with aside from the receptionist who speaks very good English. Wasn’t crazy 5 star pampering service but everything went well. Procedure went well. Results I got are top notch and for the price even better. I paid 12k in the states and had horrible results. Paid under 4k In Cancun and I now have a full head of hair.

Very Disappointed

The issues started promptly after the procedure. After the procedure, you typically have a day of recovery, then your first wash, done by professionals to show you how to safely keep your scalp clean. Before you even go you have to send them your ticket information, this is how you save your slot, so they know exactly when you are leaving. On the day after my operation, I was told I would be picked up for my wash on the (following) day (when) I was to be heading to the airport to leave. This caused a lot of confusion that resulted in me having to do my first wash myself (your first wash is literally included and advertised in the package) because you aren’t suppose to wash the day after (and by 48 hours I was departing). This was simply irritating and mildly inconvenient at the time, but it was symptomatic of what was to come. After the operation, any questions I had took longer and longer to get a response from as the months went on. Currently I’m still waiting for a response from a simple question from weeks ago, after reaching out several times. Additionally I am 6 months post op, and my “simple surgery” with a low graft count isn’t yielding the results I hoped for at all. They did not place the grafts well, as certain regions where they were put have fully grown back, while the areas I specifically stressed were the areas I was most concerned with remain almost entirely unchanged. This makes it clear that while the grafts themselves are not the issue (as aside from a few problem areas I still retain all hair), and the work of the surgeons is the problem. Additionally, while they and most other clinics advertise that the only take a few patients a week in order to ensure the quality of each operation, there were a minimum of 4 patients (5 including me), in the 4 days I was there. While the individuals themselves were friendly, the quality of the product, the services, and medical advice have been severely lacking. Very, very disappointed.

Truly, exceptional business

I’m writing this review again because I continue to be deeply impressed by the professionalism and care of this company’s staff. Mr. Reza has been incredibly attentive—consistently checking in on me and promptly responding to every question or concern I’ve had during my post-operative healing process. His dedication and kindness truly stand out. I sincerely believe that staff members like Mr. Reza elevate the reputation of Esthetic Hair Company to a much higher level. I am genuinely grateful for their ongoing support and exceptional service.

Beware of this place.

My Experience at Esthetic Hair Mexico – Cancún

I rarely write long reviews, but this experience deserves to be documented in detail so others don’t go through what I did. Other ‘5 star’ reviews are padded and bots.

I followed every instruction, documented everything, and was patient for over a year. In return, I received an unnatural, “pluggy” hairline, large empty patches, evasive answers, and a push to pay another $3,000 for “whatever grafts we can do.” Logistics were sloppy (late driver, sketchy hotel, microwaved sandwich for “lunch”). During implantation, glass broke in the operating room; I was never told what it was. I was shuffled across four WhatsApp numbers, ghosted for weeks at a time, and met with contradictions. In my opinion, they do not honor their 90% regrowth guarantee. Many of the glowing 5-star reviews are clearly fake/bot-written.

What was promised vs. reality

I paid $4,000 for maximum grafts + hotel + transportation + lunch (+$300 PRP). What I got:
• Transportation: Driver late nearly every time, sometimes an hour. Excuse was always “we only have one driver.”
• Hotel: Low-grade, in a sketchy neighborhood, far below what you’d expect even for a budget stay.
• Lunch: Literally a microwaved cheese sandwich.
• Departure day: They nearly made me miss my flight. Driver was late, rushed my shampoo, and even stopped to pick up another client on the way.

Surgery itself

On June 17, 2024, while face down during implantation, glass shattered on a tray. The doctor wasn’t in the room. An assistant left, returned, and repeated “It is ok sir.” To this day, no one has told me what broke—PRP? grafts? antiseptic? Ms. Helin (their Cancún “manager”) brushed it off with: “If something doesn’t turn out, we will fix it.”

Results
• Hairline: Straight and “pluggy,” not natural.
• Growth: Patches never sprouted.
• Beard: Spotty, plastic-doll-like.
• Independent opinion (Bosley, Minneapolis): Doubt I ever received the “maximum grafts” they claimed.

Follow-up & guarantee

For the first 6 months, responses were slow but existed. After that: ghosting, contradictions, and excuses (no power for days, manager in Türkiye, etc.). I often waited days or weeks for answers. They even asked me at month 8 when I planned to come in for my transplant—I had already had it and was sending the monthly photos their own contract required.

When pressed, I was told:
“3000 USD with hotel and transportation 3 nights maximum grafts as much as we can. That’s the best we can do with plasma.”
No graft count. No treatment plan. No written guarantee. Just “pay again.”

Compliance on my part

I honored every part of my contract:
• Sent monthly photos on time.
• Followed aftercare (saline, no shaving/dye/cuts until allowed).
• Took minoxidil, finasteride, biotin, and used a laser cap when instructed.

I preserved all WhatsApp chats, voicemails, and call logs. They show long silences, missed appointments, and canned replies like: “If everything is going well we don’t respond.”

What I learned

This clinic runs on a pattern:
1. Advertise a “special deal” year-round.
2. Deliver low-end logistics and vague promises.
3. Stall communication until the one-year mark (long after U.S. bank dispute windows close).
4. Push a second procedure for thousands more.
5. Cover it all with glowing bot reviews to drown out complaints.

Final verdict

I wanted to leave a positive review. I gave them every chance. Instead, I was left with poor results, ghosting, broken promises, and an upsell.

If you’re considering Esthetic Hair Mexico – Cancún: don’t be fooled by the “special deals” or “guarantees.” Get every promise in writing, expect bare-bones logistics, and be aware most of their 5-star reviews are fake.

I cannot recommend this clinic.

(I have full proof: dated photos, WhatsApp conversations across four threads, voicemails, and call logs. Happy to share with anyone researching.)

Thanks for this journey !!

Such a good place to be ! I felt really confortable in clinic and everything was so fine. I did my eyebrows and I am really happy about the result. You should visit them for your hair or your eyebrows if you need some transplant in Mexico !!
