You will not get your deposit back! They are so dishonest about the deposit and frankly lie to your face in order to keep it. Beside that, they are mostly rude on the phone, the facilities are clean but have no charm what so ever. I will not recommend it, I regret I sign a one year lease !

I applied for an appartment and uploaded all the required documents. Application was not processed and despite the fact that I contacted them twice by e-mail I never got an answer.

Very poor customer service.

I applied on the estudines website where they showed the rooms that were available. I applied and put in the very personal documents for my dossier- that was necessary for validation to allow me to book the room. They then told me my garantor was not enough and that I should send another. I provided them with the necessary documents. A couple days later I received an email saying to call estudines - no other information was provided. I called the next day and was met with a rude woman on the other line who laughed at me and said there was no availability. They take your documents and then lie about the availability. Please avoid!

Honestly my experience was so bad. It’s so sad to say that a student’a residences does nothing to help students that are coming to Paris.
I’m going to Paris in Erasmus and I thought of Estudines since they seem to have great installations for a good price. Unfortunately, the process was terrible. Julia, the person responsible for my case, didn’t care at all about it, didn’t help me at all with anything, I sent her multiple emails and she always took days and days to respond to the point where I had to send follow ups.
Luckily I’m a young entrepreneur and I had the possibilities to pay for all my stay in one payment (and that was my intention), I uploaded one of my invoices to prove I could pay but that was not enough so I got myself 2 guarantors which made in total 2600€ together (excluding my income).
After that, she told me I needed more so I gave her another invoice of 2000€ which made my income a total of 3125€. Still, not enough to rent anything….
The last point for me was when she said she had 2 rooms available and I literally said “I’d be happy with any but I prefer x”, she says I can only rent it in 21/08 (10 days before arrival) and I asked her “but is the room going to be available then?” And she, minutes later, said “the room is not available anymore”… Are you kidding me???
Honestly, such a waste of time! Better rent an Airbnb…
I hope Estudines change their system…

My experience with their administrative staff through email communication has been mostly smooth. I am from the Philippines, not yet in France, and they are responsive in an appropriate time, answers all my questions and assists with my needs and requests even after I had to cancel my rental contract at Le Clip because my visa was refused. They were quick to help me with this even if it meant for them a loss of revenue due to my unfortunate circumstance. (I do hope they can find a tenant to fill the spot quickly!) Because I have never been to the residence I cannot give feedback about the quality of the apartment.
