High water usage was…
I was advised that my water usage was higher than average which came as a surprise to me because I try to use water carefully. An engineer was sent who found a slow but constant leak to ensuite wc. Leak fixed, filters fitted, free water saving devices given. The best service I ever never knew I needed. Brilliant work guys

Rusty water
Went to use water tap and the water came out very brown misty colour so I phoned up water company and they done a search online for any problems and found firebrigrade had reported a problem on a call out,I was told to run tap for an hour which sorted everything out,clean water again,thank you all

Leak or Not
I had been noticing that our cavity in the pavement where our water meter is housed kept filling with water. Was not sure if it was ground water or a possible leak. Reported to ESW via the web site. ESW contacted me to explain what was going to happen. Technician arrived at the arranged time. Explained what he was doing and why. It appears it was ground water and not a leak. Glad we now know.
Renewed main to the house
Water pressure was insufficient to install an unvented cylinder. Essex Water checked that the pressure at their side was ok and quoted to install a larger main to the house. All work including drive reinstatement completed quickly and professionally. Would recommend.

Essex and Suffolk Water were excellent by identifying the leak in the stop tap in my drive, they replaced it with a new stop tap, and placed the patio slabs back to their original place.
Emma Mills goes an extra mile!
I personally would like to say thank you to Emma Mills, From Costumer projects. She went a huge extra mile! I tried to report water leak for a few times on Friday. But everyone said it’s not they problem. Finally I reported it to my council. Today I received a call from Emma. She was interested how everything goes. It’s not Essex & Suffolk water problem, but she is monitoring this. I’m so happy and thankful for her enthusiasm and help!

I have had two occasions to connect Essex and Suffolk water lately...one to take my partners name off the account, as he has passed away, and the second time to request a new outside stop cock to be fitted . On both occassions I found the operator and the engineer extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind....would recommend them highly if you have the need to contact them. Thank you..
