Eternal ghost writers is a 100% scam

My experience with Eternal Ghostwriters was extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, misleading.
The person who sells you the service is not the person who works on your project. After payment, the work is outsourced to third-party contractors. In my case, the quality of work delivered was far below professional standards and appeared to rely heavily on AI with little to no meaningful editing or understanding of my material.
The writing and images I received were poorly done and often unrelated to my book. Some deliverables looked like they could have been generated in minutes, with no effort to match my vision, tone, or subject matter. This was especially frustrating given the price and promises made during the sales process.
I was repeatedly told I would receive a refund if I was unhappy. That refund never materialized, despite clear dissatisfaction and documented issues with the work. Communication became unproductive once payment had been made.
Several contractors appeared inexperienced and struggled with basic understanding of the project. There was also a clear disconnect in cultural and language familiarity, which made collaboration difficult and further affected quality.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I genuinely wanted professional help with my book. Unfortunately, the service delivered did not come close to what was advertised. I strongly recommend that authors do extensive due diligence and be very cautious before engaging with this company.
Optional shorter, sharper version (for Google reviews)
Very poor experience. Sales promises did not match delivery. Work was outsourced, heavily AI-generated, and often unrelated to my book. Refunds were promised and never provided. Communication declined after payment. I regret using this service and recommend others proceed with caution. Im contacting an attorney and charging back my credit card.

Not reliable and not transparent

I'll be completely transparent with my review. I love the book cover and the design and recommendations that they made but then it stops there the marketing. The reviews that was promised has not been delivered. They do not file directions well and they only call me when they want to upsell me another services. Totally disappointed, especially after spending thousands

STAY AWAY!

2 1/2 years, TWO “money back guarantee” contracts FAILED with NO MONEY BACK! The ONLY reason I purchased the marketing plan (s), was the money back guarantee, and that it seemed I had nothing to lose and my book would be seen by Social media marketing with boosts up to 5000 globally, daily…which never happened. The dozens of Facebook/instagram/ posts were not seen by anyone besides myself and a couple of friends. I ended up doing my own boosts and promotions. Even with my efforts, barely 10 % ROI compared to the recent 300% ROI promised by “the head of marketing”. (Fake name, never reachable).
Some of the contract details were fulfilled, but had no impact on sales. Issues and delays constantly, useless website.
From the beginning, there were issues and delays. From audiobook ( yes, they conned me into that too!) upload and rejection issues, delays for 6 months. Endless excuses such as “it’s a timely process”. “The team is methodically and strategically focused on the marketing plan”. ( which they could never explain) I gave them 2.5 years to come through… but with endless excuses, false promises and occasional blatant lies along the way. I caught my account manager several times in his blatant lies to me, I couldn’t believe it, still can’t!
From the sales person at the beginning, right down the line to the “team” with obvious fake names from other parts of the globe, to a “dedicated” manager who takes all the punches and gets nothing done… just words he thinks you want to hear, with no action.
I hired what I thought and hoped to be a professional company. The ghost writing part of the actual book was eventually acceptable and I was excited to see the marketing and all that was promised, including 100 reviews of my book on Amazon. Turns out they were fake reviews and KDP rejected all of them. There are 5 that are legitimate from family and friends.
I WASTED THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! I did not jump to conclusions. I gave it 2 1/2 years! This has been the worst business experience of my lifetime, I’m 61, a REAL and legitimate Eternal Ghost Writers “client” , and I am incredibly upset!
I have a massive “grocery” list of lies and frustrations…losing thousands of $$. I can go on and on…AND Im embarrassed… JUST STAY AWAY PLEASE!

Scam company

Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. They failed to honor the contract and I later discovered many others had the same issues. I regret not reading the reviews beforehand. Please be cautious before doing business with eternal Ghost writing services or scam service. Scam company. They don't honor their contract. Save yourself the headache-DONT HIRE THEM, LOOK ELSE WHERE !!! I'm not the competition , I'm the victim of this company and a refund would resolve this matter. Sincerely James

Borderline Scam. Don't bother

I hired them with high hopes to help me bring my dream to life.

The ghost writing was AWFUL and WAY overpriced.

Of course, once they do anything on your behalf you can kiss your money goodbye. No matter how little they have done or how terrible their teams of writers are...

They also try to high preasure sell you into all sorts of stuff.

I didn't complete my project with them. I don't trust that they can actually help a project succeed.

Oh yes... and they will also try to tell you that these kinds of negative comments are "competition trying to ruin their reputation".... Just remember that they can petition google to have comments that were made by fake accounts removed... and yet... all these comments are still here.

My advice, do LOTS of research before you pick a company to help you with your project don't go with these folks.

Eternal Ghostwriting is a total scam!

Eternal Ghostwriting is a total scam or better yet, a money grab. They don't even use proper English and present you with elementary school level garbage. Every employee that you talk to is working on upselling you every step of the way. The Marketing plan has a money back guarantee that promises 100 percent refund if your return on investment isn't met in 7 to 10 months. They never even came close to my ROI after 12 months and then Eternally Ghosted me for any refund. They are a scam.

They helped me bring my book to life…

They helped me bring my book to life and put it on Amazon. But when came to marketing ,it was all bad .they did do nothing what the contract said. I didn't look at the red flags.(1) they all had American names but no one was American. (2) my bank wouldn't allow me to send them money, but I did away. (3) Different people was calling me trying to sale me something else. I told them do what the contract says or give me my money back, because it's says if I'm not happy 100% money back .Now no answer. Marketing department is a Scam.

Eternal ghost writing totally ripped me…

Eternal ghost writing totally ripped me off and didn’t deliver what they said they would, then when I cancelled their service, they wouldn’t give me a refund even though it says in their contract that they would give me a refund if I was unsatisfied with their work. They also said they were going to steal my book and publish it under their name. If there is anyone that wants to start a class action lawsuit, let me know.

THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY...THEY LIE AND SCAM AND WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR

I wish I could give this a zero..this is not a real company and none of the positive reviews are real..they dont know how to write and literally made my work look like a kid wrote it..they put quotation marks around where characters think (should've known then) and made the work look juvenile..I gave them 6k and received nothing..anytime I had something to say they changed project manager and writer..I have been through the wringer with these people for over a year and they keep saying they are gonna start fresh and then submit the same work..Ive called them out many times and they have excuse after excuse. The bad reviews, they said, was from a competitor and the supposedly never had a complaint but when I reached out to the other complainers on social media...the people were real and were considering a class action suit.. Please please please dont let these people scam you..I even asked for a list of the best sellers they supposedly wrote and no one ever got back to me..The people here also dont speak English so please dont waste the time...I have been through hell and back with this fake online company and they dont seem to care..All they do is take your money and then submit the lowest level of work..They are not writers nor are they real...This was the WORST experience I have ever had with any company and the most unprofessional.. I prob wont see the 6k and I feel foolish for getting ripped off..but these people are liars and scam artists and I wish they would get shut down because it's just not right to do this to people.. Don't believe their lies as they will feed you BS story about how my review is a competitor but I am a real person who has been scammed by this treacherous fake company...I havent lost more temper more than I have with this because everytime you get mad they switch people and then the people submit the same work with the most pathetic juvenile mistakes..This company has really made me not want to write for the last year but I am rebounding and will never be a fool again...Please beware..I would hate to see anyone go through what I went through and get scammed out of that much money

Well, that was a scam

When I first approached Eternal Ghostwriting, I was very excited about the opportunity to publish a book. 3 months, a dedicated team, too good to be true! And it was.

From English not being their primary language, to 3 months turning into 6 months without any sign of my book being done, to asking for more money before we continue when no work had really been done in during the entirety of the contract, I fell victim to what is essentially another internet scam.

Shame on me. I won't make that mistake again.

Unprofessional editing and Misrepresenting giving a refund

I wrote this review in June 2023 after not getting the editing done in a timely and professional basis. The company agreed to refund my money and sent me an email to that effect. Yet after posting this somehow they got it taken down despite NEVER showing proof of the Refund number they used to pretend that they sent me a refund, Again I checked with my bank and they said the number i was given was meaningless and no refund had been given. Trustpilot did not give me any other info as to why they reversed the decision. Again, I contacted the company about this and they have played the stalling game with me never responding to my requests to SHOW ME THE MONEY document,
However, when I checked my credit card again and again there was no record of this refund. The texts they sent of the supposed transaction number of the refund, which again I could not find. My bank researched this and told me the number I was given did not exist, I have continually asked them to correct this and they continually gave me the same number and refused to make this right. When I called them on the number posted on their website, it did not work. When I chatted with them through the website and asked to speak to their company principals, they said they are completely transparent BUT they refused to disclose any names nor provide a direct means for contacting them. I have been eternally ghosted by this company and defrauded of the money I gave them.
PS
I just read the company's response. The same response they have given me for 6 months. However, the account they mention is NOT my account and i have told them how I spoke to the bank of multiple occasions and NEVER did I receive the refund. This company does not listen and has wasted so much of my time. Now, in a recent conversation their financial officer threatened to sue me for presenting these facts about their incompetence. Then they requested I take this review down BEFORE they return my money. How does a company like this stay in business and why would anyone want to deal with them when they cause all this stress over returning $400?

Regarding their response: The refund ID numbers they gave me did not correspond to any bank account I had. When I requested, they tell me the name of the bank they sent it from and to the bank and account they sent it to, they refused to respond and kept saying the same thing over and over trying to make it my fault I did not get the money.

Heartbreaking to reach out repeatedly and receive no response.

Even if they respond via Trustpilot with a well written response. Since their last response, I have reached out several times without any further communication from them. There has been no call and no follow-up, which is quite disheartening. I have prepared a detailed file and, regrettably, there has been no movement regarding compensation.

Should anyone consider doing business with this company, I would advise them to thoroughly review all contractual documents. It is crucial to be vigilant, as it appears there is a tendency to exploit the lack of knowledge, with promises that are not fulfilled.

I am committed to ensuring that this kind of situation does not happen to others. After waiting patiently for several weeks, it's clear that while the company presents an impressive public image, the actual delivery of services does not match up. I am still awaiting an explanation as to which part of the contract has been misinterpreted.
