Should any buyer issues crop up Etsy will allways side with the buyer. They will tell you they impartial and don’t take sides but they do.
I have been sworn at in reviews but because it was abbreviated it’s okay to leave public.
I have had a false case opened to get us to do something else. Buyer admitted it in the case but support ignored it. This is against their policy’s
They refunded another customer who refused to return an item and was threatening and trying to extort us for reviews.
These are early against their policy's but customer support chooses to interpret policy's to penalise the sellers. (They will again tell you that’s not the case. ).
Sellers get screws on fees and support.

Another con company. Ordered books months ago and strill no sign of them and clearly deliberately impossible to contact Etsy to complain without a ridiculous elongated sign up which then says doesn't recognise any items. Should be shut down!

I changed my email address having discontinued my old one. Etsy would not help me to change my login to my new one. Ultimately lost access to my shop due to two factor login sending code to my old email address. The Etsy customer service was of absolutely no help and would not look at other options to authenticate my ownership of my account without asking financial questions that I needed access to the account to answer. I've ultimately lost my ten year old shop and am having to start from scratch again on another platform. The platform itself has gone down hill rapidly in the past few years anyway with a shift from truly artisan products to promoting cheap ready made products.

Would put 0 stars if possible. Etsy are doing everything possible to damage small businesses. They will remove items claiming various issues such as 'copyright' when no copyright has been breached. They refund customers who claim they haven't received items even when the tracking shows photos and GPS location of the customer themselves HOLDING the package with the house name/address clearly in the photo AND the customer has admitted in messages that it is themselves holding the item. The list of issues they are causing is long- those are just a couple of examples, and they will not talk to sellers to sort out these problems. Etsy are dishonest and are following orders to dismantle small businesses.

Order an engagement card from Statement made designs for an engagement party on the 13th June. Delivery advised 11th-13th June and the order still hasn't arrived. I have had this problem before with card sellers at Christmas that were not delivered on time. 2 weeks is a joke.

I ordered something for a wedding anniversary, in plenty of time, and from the UK. Nothing arrived. I contacted the seller, and they hadn't even dispatched even though I'd told them that it was for a specific date. Two weeks later and not sent!

Unable to leave negative review on Etsy because I cancelled the order, and the Etsy bot was useless. Etsy have been seduced by money and no longer care about customer service. Have used for years but never again.

BEWARE: the ratings for sellers are not truly representative, since Etsy to not publish all the feedback customers wish to leave for their sellers.

I will never use Etsy again. Once a reliable platform for good customer service, now all about the money they get.

Do not buy digital item it is scam, no refound.

I bought £250 worth of clothing from ai tailor based in Pakistan. They didn't fit despite me having sent measurements, 1 item was also in the wrong style. I requested a refund, thinking their buyer protection scheme and customer support would cover a full refund.
But NO the maximum they could offer was $50. No appeals, and this after an hour's worth of messaging customer service.
this left the supplier with £250 and me with a $50 refund, worthless clothing and a bad taste in my mouth.
AVOID THIS PLATFORM for anything other than trivial Purchases!!! The won't see me again

Bought an item and was told next day that it was cancelled for no apparent reason and yet the item is still for sale on Etsy website. What a con.

Still not received my order. Poor communication and tracking. No delivery date stated. Links dont work on emails.

No received my order no refund my money, refunded my money in the basket in the website but no give code for use the money, no support from the seller no support from help centre, horrible service,I suggest everyone no buy nothing from this website

I really should have read Trustpilot first. Etsy is a complete scam. Sellers that advertise goods but never send them and useless customer service. It has now been 1 week, no goods and the site will not allow me to open a case against the seller to get my money back.

I expected better. Quality quite poor. Ordered a card for my sisters 60th ,birthday didn't think I was going to get it on time, when it eventually came it wasn't worth the money, put it this way it wasn't worth £11.00 .the company disagreed. And one of the reasons it was late wasn't was sent 2nd class . Not good.☹️

goods didnt arrive and after 6 weeks i requested a refund.
Instead of a refund they took another payment.

Ordered a book which never showed. Contacted seller, she did nothing about it. Contacted Etsy, they said continue contacting seller - still no contact. Went back to Etsy - window to open a dispute has closed. Never signposted me to this. Judging by all the reviews of the Etsy shop it's a scam and no orders were ever processed. Etsy offers zero protections if your order doesn't show, they're not interested. Terrible service, will never use the platform again.

Recent order lost in post. Seller states id have to contact Etsy for refund. Date to open case reached but would not allow me to open case. Email sent no reply. Refund eventually obtained through PayPal.

Terrible, I ordered a product and it was never sent out, said id be issued a refund and this has been put in gift card form. I will now go through bank for funds. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE. a lot of sales are now from china so cheap products you will have to wait weeks for

I bought a watch for Etsy in March this year. The watch no longer works. I messed the seller and the Etsy itself and was told my time is up for a refund on the watch that doesn’t work.
If I could have gave zero stars I would have.
I bought what I thought was a lovely silver bracelet? The silver was coming off on my hand and wrists cheap and extremely poor quality.
Again, I messaged the seller and nothing back.

People beware of this unless company . There goods are not what you think you’re buying. The customer service is 100000 pathetic.
