hideous

I would expect the management of support at this level either from a newborn low level company or from a shady one. The truth they are simply not organized to give a quality treatment and probably don't care of the customers. It took more than a month to have a refund from an order that never arrived. but the most tedious aspect is the time wasted with their support process with emails and procedures that were irritatingly unhelpful

Blocked from contacting them no refund provided for a returned item

I returned the item using the return label you provided

The tracking number you provided is not recognised
I have an online account with you which you have blocked my server from accessing so I can’t use the chat option.

I’m not a wealthy person I can not afford to write off £62.99
I want my refund

The item was a Christmas gift , it was too big and was returned in perfect condition

Great products, terrible delivery

The jacket and hat are really good and well made, however, the package arrived clearly cut open, even the internal plastic packaging and return form were completely cut through. The package was then duct taped over, and marked with a sticker that said, that the order may be damaged and/or missing items. Great products, terrible delivery.

Order a cargo pants but there is no…

Order a cargo pants but there is no fit. It is far to tight around the waist for a 36 size. I wore them to work and when i bend over it exposes my ass crack beyond any comfortzone. It makes no sense because i also bought a shirt that was L but it fits like a XL. I am instantly cured from so called high end work clothes. I could have ordered two Dewalt workpants for the same price and would be the happiest carpenter alive. I also doubt they make these clothes for the working man. I mean the loop on the pants can't even hold any hammer. It is so gimmicky, i think any pair of jeans are outperforming the "ruggedflex" workpants.

Besides this all, i can't log into my account, still not sure if this is a positive thing or not. I think that's about it.

I received no package

I received no package. After contacting customer service they just sent me a form to fill in with information they got themselves. When I asked why I must do this I got the same answer twice, on purpose because it was just copy & paste. Contact was very unpolite and not comfortable at all, I felt like that I did something and that I am not the customer but just some criminal who is trying to rob them. I want my money back and I will never ever buy again anything at this company. WORST customer service EVER.

2 stars because I like the clothes

2 stars because I like the clothes. Dutch Carhartt service sucks.
Bought a shirt.
The order got canceled by Carhartt.
Never saw my money.
Everytime I nring it up at customer I get a new employee asking me the same questions.
So after a while I just gave up, will probably order from Amazon next time

Warning

Warning: Dye Transfer Issue – Poor Customer Service

I purchased a pair of Carhartt jeans through a well-known retailer, and the dye from the jeans transferred onto two of my other garments, permanently damaging them.

I contacted both Carhartt and the retailer, expecting a straightforward resolution, but ended up caught between the two — with neither taking real responsibility. The lack of support and accountability from both brands has been incredibly disappointing.

If you’re considering buying these jeans, be cautious — the dye can ruin your other clothes. I expected better from such reputable names, and unless this is resolved properly, I won’t be shopping from either again.

Dont bother

I placed an order for an item, but due to issues, I never received it. I was refunded and received an apology email, which included a 20% voucher to encourage me to give them another chance. The voucher had no expiration date listed—only a note saying I could use it on my next purchase if I chose to try again. I didn't complain or provide feedback because I appreciated how they handled the situation.

However, when I went to place another order, I found the voucher had expired. I contacted live chat and was told on Monday that they'd reissue the voucher, and I should receive it by Thursday at the latest. When Thursday came and went without the code, I reached out again on live chat and was told they would email me the voucher. Instead, I received an email stating the voucher had expired and offering me just a 10% discount instead.

At this point, I was frustrated. I had waited for several days, chased multiple times, and got nowhere. Nowhere in the original communication did it mention a one-month expiration date, and the voucher was supposed to be a gesture of goodwill, not a burden. I reached out once more via live chat as I had not received a response to my previous email, and once again, I was told they needed to request the voucher, even though I had been speaking with the same person (Gemma) since Monday.

The entire experience has been incredibly disappointing, and based on this service, I won’t be shopping with them again.

Avoid Carhartt. Impossible to get a refund.

My daughter returned 2 orders which were received by Carhartt in Holland on 15 November. We finally got a refund for one of the orders on 21 February and are still waiting for the other refund. It’s now been 103 days!!! We’ve contacted their customer services over 40 times and had various promises made. It’s just seems unbelievable that in 2025 a large company can provide such poor customer service. My advice to anyone would be to avoid buying from Carhartt Europe. Service has been terrible.

Incredibly slow refund process and still not resolved

Item came as promised but wasn’t to my liking, nothing wrong with it just not the best fit for me. I returned the item and it was received on the 12th December by them and on the 13th January I’ve still not received my refund. They told me via the chat service they don’t send emails to confirm the item has been received and the refund is being processed, this is poor. And they then said that the refund can take up 15 working days to process. This is not good enough and not something I’ve not seen at any other company I’ve ordered from. I’ve gone over this time, still no refund so have contacted them again and they have said it should have been processed, apologised and will take a day or so for accounts to process the refund. This was last week and still no refund. I won’t be ordering directly from them again. I’d rather go through someone like ASOS and pay more and not have the bother of this customer service.

Terrible returns process

Terrible returns process. I returned some items 49 days ago, and still no refund. I have contacted Carhartt who made no effort to resolve the issue other than to say "We're sorry for the delay, it typically takes 35 working days to process a refund". I think this is a deliberate act of slowing the returns process down in the hope that many consumers will forget and Carhartt will never actually refund them.

Returns process is slow

Returns process is slow. Returned an item and apparently once the return is received your refund will be processed 21days plus 14 days (as has to be then sent to Holland). Do you are looking at 35days. But that is after the item is received. My item was sent via the prepaid label 4 days ago and still hasn't been received. Feel a bit sick and stressed but it's not their problem. As soon as I ordered the item I tried to cancel it they said it wasn't possible but that Returns are hassle free and refunds prompt. Unfortunately that's not been my experience

Don't buy direct from Carhartt (cost implications & frustration)

IF YOU DO PURCHASE VIA WEBSITE, DO NOT USE A CREDIT CARD UNLESS YOU'RE COMFORTABLE PAYING INTEREST ON RETRUNED PRODUCTS WHILST AWAITING REFUND *** CHECK THEIR RETURNS POLICY IT'LL SHOCK YOU ***

I'm genuinely shocked by the awful experience of retrning items to Carhartt. I never thought I'd be that person typing "if I could score zero then I would" especially for a brand I’ve always loved like Carhartt.

I love Carhartt clothes but I doubt I'll ever buy their products again on the back of this experience, certainly never via their website.

I returned several jackets over 30+ days ago (a mix of styles due to their inconsistent sizing), and I’m still waiting for a refund.

I've emailed customer service multiple times, and although they reply, all I’ve received from them are templated responses or brief messages assuring me that my refund is pending - never received!

I'm not going to spend any more time on this review, this situation has already cost me enough time & money. But seriously " DO NOT BUY DIRECTLY VIA CARHARRT WEBSITE, UNLESS YOU'RE PREPARED TO SUFFER AN AWFUL AWFUL RETURNS SERVICE.
