A few days after I ordered a multitool (Leatherman Signal) the company had a special offer of a free "Tool Case" if you buy one of those multitools. I'd missed the offer but wondered if I might get the free case anyway. I called them up and the chap at the other end asked me what colour case I wanted. Excellent!
I'm a user of several Leatherman products. I recently had a problem with one that, due to unforeseen circumstances, had a defect. Last week I contacted Leatherman customer service and they replaced it immediately. I'm thrilled, it's great to have them doing this!
