DO NOT BUY!

Bought a C20 robot cleaner/washer via Amazon late December 2025. This was purchased with a special Amazon offer. Arrived faulty, several phone calls and customer service contacts later, it was deemed necessary to return the machine. I requested a replacement, like for like, and advised that was not possible. BEWARE, this company does not play fair and I would not recommend!

Product support is hopeless

Product support is hopeless. I purchased a Eufy security system through PB Tech, but their app is just as poorly built and totally useless as Arlo's app. The cameras are fine, but the app is EVERYTHING - these security camera firms fail dismally when it comes to functionality, and Eufy falls into this bracket. Their app and their customer "support" is totally useless. I'll be seeking a refund from PB Tech, since I know that Eufy support certainly won't be coming to the party on that one.

Easy install and quality picture

Cameras were very easy to install and set up. They are very customizable and the video quality is fantastic. I do wish the base had more storage but won't stop me from recommending this product in the future!

Not practical to have 16 cameras on the Homebase

I bought 5 indoor cameras and 1 homebase in February. More practical information is needed with the description and specs. Homebase can have 16 cameras per the website. But you need to buy an additional HardDrive that is not too obvious in the description which is even more money. I called Customer Service to ask about buying exterior cameras. The tech was helpful and let me know that if you want 24/7 video, that can only be done with 5 cameras on the homebase. That means, I need another Homebase or NVR for exterior cameras, or more interior cameras. The web developers need to include more specs and details across all the categories so consumers know what they are getting into.

Bait and switch?

Product was listed at a sale price. So I went to purchase it, and it was then out of stock for several weeks. The site would not let me buy it at the sale price on a backorder. When it was finally in stock, guess what, higher price.

The people are good to deal with…

The people are good to deal with shipment is reasonably quick and the product generally works well. On occasion it does not pick up movement. But overall I'm very happy. I'm not overly concerned I live in an area I'm not worried about intrusion. But if a product is supposed to pick up any human movement I would expect it would do that each time

I was recommended a replacement part…

I was recommended a replacement part purchase that did not fit my model. When I asked for either a refund or exchange for the correct part, I was told that a refund of less than 15% was the only option. To me, this is unacceptable and poor business. I just recently ordered a $1k robo lawn mower from you and I am now reconsidering that purchase.

One significant flaw

I have been a Eufy customer for over…

I have been a Eufy customer for over three years, running more than 12 of their security cameras across multiple models and types, paired with their newest hub. I wanted to like this system. When everything is working, the image quality and local storage approach are genuinely appealing.

The problem is reliability. Across every camera model I have tried, I experience the same issues repeatedly: cameras freeze and require a power cycle, the hub goes offline despite being hardwired via ethernet, live feeds fail to load roughly 90% of the time, and cameras drop offline without any apparent cause. These are not occasional hiccups. They are the normal operating state of this system.

I have given Eufy the benefit of the doubt through multiple firmware updates and hardware generations, hoping things would improve. They have not, and the pattern is consistent enough across all their hardware that I no longer believe it is an isolated issue.

If you are considering Eufy for home security, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. A security camera system that cannot reliably show you a live feed or stay online is not serving its core purpose. Save your money and invest in something more dependable.

I like the cameras the only thing I don’t like is the battery or the solar panel for some reason I have to get it off and recharge it because it don’t really last long. I don’t know what’s the problem but I have 10 cameras from UV and I have to dismount them so I can charge them again. The solar panel is not enough or the battery. I don’t know what is the problem.

Lack of support for Eufy doorbell

I ordered an Eufy doorbell because I have an Eufy lock that I love. It requires a “Home Base” unit which I also ordered. When I received it and read the instructions, I realized that it needed a hard drive which was not available from Eufy. After researching, I found what I believe was an appropriate one which took awhile to be delivered. I then proceeded to install the Home Base to my router. The Home Base which was wired to my router using included wires, would not connect. I contacted customer support which was AI. AI could not resolve my issue and advised that I would be contacted the next business day. That was 2 weeks ago. Everything is still uninstalled and in pieces with no help getting it to work. Since customer support is AI, I’m reviewing here in hopes the company cares enough about their reputation to address the issue. I had much higher expectations.
