Great communication and prices but the cars they rent are quite old and they need some TLC.

Very haphazard from the start, we followed the meet and greet instructions and waited for our greater for nearly 30 minutes and in the end had to call, it turned out that Eurocar do not have an office at Heraklion airport, but the lady had been standing across the road at another stand watching us wait for her, the minute we called her she identified herself and identified that she was looking at us - not cool. Following that it was a brief and harried introduction and instruction session on how to return the car. The car itself was fine. We then needed to return the car earlier than stated on the paperwork and rang their office to give them 4 days notice of this. When we turned up to return the car early, the collection person knew nothing about this and told us we were lucky she had been at the airport with other clients - had we not been "lucky" we would have missed our flight home.
We booked the car through VIP cars platform and they weren't necessarily the cheapest and it stated they had an airport location. Lesson learned though we will only book with a firm we are 100% sure have an airport office - never had this problem before in 30 years of overseas car hire.

Brilliant experience from the Team at Eurocar in Crete.

I used their website to make the booking and selected the options I required all very simple!

Once I arrived at the airport the team had prepared the car and it was done all handover within 5minutes and off I went.

I want to send my gratitude to those who assisted me by phone and the individual that brought the car to me.

I was given a good car, everything working fine and suitable for purpose. Car was returned no issues and processed how they explained.

Off I went.

Really, I will use them in the future when I return for sure and recommend them to those that go!

This place is definitely cheaper BUT this was a dangerous car hire. The rental car (peugeot 306) EuroCar Greece provided looked fine however when it was being driven we realised that the headlights did not work and one break light was not working which was very dangerous especially when dark outside.

They saw we also had a child but still gave us this car.
I would not recommend this company at all.

The lady laughed when we returned car at Heraklion airport after letting her know, it seemed to be no big deal for this company.

Normally use advance when on Paros but these guys where cheaper, I arrived late but It wasn't a problem, I got a brand new car, there was a slight problem when I returned the car about a scratch but they sorted it very quickly.
I will be using them in the future.

We made our booking at the Hersonissos location at the Mitsis Royal Mare hotel - we rented a Fiat 500 for 5 days to explore our surrounding area.
Emmanouela was did a great job in explaining the whole process and the car and we had a fantastic time. Not only by seeing Crete on our own, but the car was really nice - excellent condition, purring like a kitten (and I always wanted to drive this car :-) ). On top she gave us lovely suggestions for day trips and locations we might not have in mind (we've been to all) and it was really worth it.
As the title says - if you are in Crete and need a car, we highly recommend to use this rental service!

Booking on phone, lady (in Bulgaraia i believe) was clear and helpful, when I was in a hurry and stressed due to probs with our car. Staff at Fareham helpful. Car for 3 day London trip, as Corsa, was fine and economical. Their collection place is on Fort Wallington Industrial Estate up a road behind Sainsburys
Much much happier than I was with Enterprise Austria in 2021.....

Rented a car from the Anissaras location. Car was damage free and clean both inside en out. Service was good en personal was nice.

Worst experience with a car rental company I have ever had. We returned a car in good faith, not knowing that there was damage/scratch on the right front side. The company representative took over the car from us without any comments/remarks. The company then only called to my room, when we were on the beach and did not call my cell phone with following excuses from the company representative:
1.) The represetative of the company in the hotel cannot call us on my cell phone, because he cannot call international numbers due to additional fees. That is a nonsense, because both Greece and Czech republic are members of European Union and if you call a number within EU it is by law taken as a domestic call without any additional costs/fees.
2.) After we told him that, we got an answer that it is not his obligation to call us, because the call should be done by other employees of the company.
3.) When we told him, that no one called us, we got an answer, that they tried to call us, but the number does not exist.

The representative only left note without any signature, that the company is charging us 300 euros. We wanted to talk with his manager, to ask, why the company did not call us or reached to us directly, so that we can resolve the situation. It was not possible, not that day and not even the day after. The only result was that they will send us a proforma invoice, but that will be possible only next week due to banking holidays in Greece and we will already be at home at that time.

Last but not least, I would like to point out, that I do not have a problem with paying for the damage as it was obviously done during the time, when I rented the car. I have a problem with the whole process of the charging us the fee without any price list/invoice or official document, which proves that fee should be that high or at least a prior information. The note was delivered to our room after the rental company charged us the fee.

I too work in customer relations and I can honestly say, that I would lose my job in a minute, if I behaved like that.

Eurocar is a great spot to rent a car. The workers are very nice en the prices are not expensive. We rented a automatic fiat 500c for a couple of days and there were no flaws. Great company!
