I rented a car online, cost around 60 pounds, on site it turned out that they didn't have such a car in the offer, in the end I had to pay over 200 pounds; the service at the airport is nice and helpful; I don't recommend booking online because you can be surprised if you are not prepared for the extra cost
I warn against renting cars from Europcar, especially at the airport in Trieste. Before renting, they send information that if we cross the border, additional fees will be charged daily and in the settlement they charge fees for the entire rental period. They twist and turn and after some time there is no e-mail contact. Poor communication. Picking up the car took about 30 minutes when everything was booked in advance, a tragedy. The car was also different from the one ordered. It would be good if the person managing Europcar read this information about the practices used by their branch in Trieste.
I warn against this company once again.
The price on the paper was different to what I agreed to with the guy by the desk and ended up paying extra 223GBP instead of 73GBP. I'm not going to use them service again

Wypozyczylismy Samochod na tydzien. Po odstawieniu na bardzo waskim parkingu w hotelu w centrum gdzie trzeba oddac klucze do recepcji i nikt nie sprawdza stanu samochodu przy odbiorze, Europcar oznajmilo Nam ze mamy zaplacic 1500 zl za domniemane rysy. Oczywiscie my tych rys nie widzielismy i niestety zadnych zdjec nie zrobilismy. Dlaczego nie ma odbioru z pracownikiem z protokolem odbioru!!? Absolutnie nie polecam tej firmy!!!!!!
europcar krakow : scam!!!!!
We rented a car for a week. After leaving it in a very narrow car park in a hotel in the city centre where you have to return the keys to the reception and no one checks the condition of the car upon collection, Europcar told us that we have to pay 1500 PLN for alleged scratches. Of course we did not see these scratches and unfortunately we did not take any pictures. Why is there no collection with an employee with a collection protocol!!? I absolutely do not recommend this company!!!!!!
This was by far the worst car hire experience we have ever had in nearly 35 years of hiring cars in Europe. Two and a half hour wait in 40 degree heat on pick-up, with no water, in their stiflingly hot garage in central Lisbon, which ruined the first day of our holiday as we then missed our connection in the Algarve. Incompetence was literally evidenced by the queue of disgruntled customers stretching back down the street. This is obviously something that happens a lot at Europcar as none of the staff seemed even remotely bothered and just had a look of total disinterest whenever anyone complained. Due to their own total incompetence they then failed to fill the car with petrol and were in such a rush they failed to check the car in any way before we departed. So you'll never guess what happened next, oh yes, they send us a bill for more petrol and for a scratch on the car that they had failed to mark up on their pre-booking sheet. Totally incompetent car hire service
Contrary to most other reviews, I had a very positive experience at Krakow airport. The staff were friendly and polite, and they did not pressure me into taking out extra insurance. The pickup and drop off were both quick and easy. Keep up the good work!
Pro tip: Always take pictures of the vehicle when collecting and dropping off, then email them to yourself to help avoid any potential disputes that may arise.
Payment done online for van, money taken from my account, and information after 15 min. no van available and money not returned after 48h !
