Great price and the benefit of a 5 year Guarantee for free was the clincher to buying my first EV charger from Evbug however despite purchasing 30 mins (I know it's a bit close) before the 2pm cut off for next day delivery it wasn't sent out until the following day. whilst not their fault the parcel was then misrouted meaning I got my charger 3 days after purchase rather than next day.

I did call them to get more information and they were quick to call me back and most helpful which is a plus, if it wasn't for the slow shipping it would of been 5 stars.

Having had an indifferent experience with the main Hypervolt company, after being bounced around found this gem of a company, they were able to supply the exact same system with a 5 year guarantee included at no extra cost and saved me £170 in the process what’s not to like about that. DHL delivered within 24hrs again excellent customer service the only thing I’m unsure about is how do I know the product is guaranteed for the 5 years as didn’t see anything supplied other than the email confirmation ( I would totally use this company again, I would have gone for them to install but had reached out to someone else b4 coming across them) totally worth buying from - also was able to do PayPal payment too.

Said next working day delivery but it wasn't posted until i chased up my order so it ended up taking 4 working days. Box was battered but nothing was broken.

I purchased an EV on a whim back in April, which left me scrambling to find someone to install a home charger. After contacting big companies like Octopus and British Gas and being told their wait times were 3+ months, I turned to local electricians. Unfortunately, this also proved challenging. Although three different electricians visited to assess the job, only one provided a quote—and it was so full of conditions that it didn’t meet our needs.

Frustrated by the situation, I continued searching online and came across EV Bug. Their website stood out because they offered both the supply and installation of the charger at a very competitive price, with availability within a week. Their business model involves partnering with local suppliers across the UK to ensure fast and efficient installs. While my installation ended up being two weeks further away than initially stated, this was due to the tradesman being on holiday, which they explained and I agreed to.

The installation day went smoothly. Although the job turned out to be a bit more complicated than the electrician initially thought, everything was completed without any major issues from my perspective.

The real highlight, however, is EV Bug’s aftercare service. I purchased a Zappi charger, and after four months, I noticed damage to the charging gun. When I contacted Zappi, they suggested that the charger had likely been vandalised, meaning it wasn’t covered under warranty. I couldn’t dispute this, as I don’t have CCTV in that area. Nevertheless, EV Bug went above and beyond. They quickly reached out and sent a replacement part free of charge. I contacted the same installer, who promptly came and fitted the part within a couple of days.

Best pice on product dispatched immediately from stock and delivered the next day makes a change from company's reselling stock they don't have on the shelf with unforseen delivery delays thats become the norm of online ordering

I was after a EV home charger and EV Bug were the most competitive on price. I was a little concerned after reading some more recent reviews about the change of warehouse but I received my parcel the next day and it arrived safely. Recommended for the saving in price. Thank you EV Bug.
