Very good presentation on IHT planning from Evelyn Partners

I was originally with Smith and Williamson, but since the changes resulting in Evelyn it appears the level of service and the attention to investment performance has suffered. I know it's been a rough few years but my own self invested SIPP has performed far better than a service I pay for. It just seems as if they have taken their eye off the ball. I had to initiate a meeting with them as we had not had a face to face for over a year.

I have been with Sally Beresford and Stefan Palenski for nearly ten years and I can vouch for their friendly and professional service. Pension rules are becoming ever more complex and reliable advice is more essential than ever.

I have been receiving advice from Jo Rees at Evelyn, and prior to that under the Tilney banner for the last 2 years. Jo has guided me through the investment risk process, and advised on my various pensions, and recently on retirement planning. The advice and alternative options have always been explained to me clearly and professionally, allowing me to make informed decisions on the best way forwards. I would recommend Jo and Evelyn to anybody looking for financial advice.

And have absolutely nothing but good words to say about Stephen , Stefan and their teams that service my SIPP.
Their knowledge and experience is evident from the very first time you meet them and this is a big factor for me in who I engage to manage my funds. However their proactive customer service is probably what sets them above others in the industry , certainly if the ones I have first hand knowledge of.
It has not been an easy time for anyone in financial markets since covid but Evelyn were always on the front foot. They kept me fully updated with the issues and their view on how it should be managed. There was never a hint of panic and they were able to assure me all the way through those 2/3.years that their strategy would work.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Stephen and Stefan to any prospective customer of Evelyn.
