Unable to provide digital tickets
We saw Belle and Sebastian at piece hall and they were great but unfortunately neither Eventim or Seetickets were able to provide digital tickets through their apps when we followed links in our emails and all their support lines were uncontactable. When we contacted the event venue they told us that eventim are nothing to do with the event even though they sold us tickets. With the venues guidance we eventually managed to find our tickets on the Ticketmaster app which seemed a lot more efficient. I am not sure who Eventim are but I will make sure I avoid them in the future.

Booking fees
A huge booking fee per ticket is ridiculous, coupled with a venue fee meaning that in reality, tickets are roughly ten pounds more. Total rip off. I could understand a total booking fee, but one per ticket is a disgrace.

Ticket Sales
There was no online queue going into the ticket sale, so made it much more complicated to keep an eye on which tickets had been bought and which hadn't. Some tickets came up on the app and didn't come up on the website - so didn't make any sense. We also were not able to select tickets into our baskets on the website as I assume there were too many people trying to click the same tickets. Made the experience extremely stressful and not as successful as we would've hoped.

Easy peasy is exactly what we want. Real (physical) tickets we do offer wherever available though e-tickets and digital tickets are prevalent nowadays.

I had trouble trying to set up the App which I apparently must do (pardon the pun). I don't really WANT to have an app but it seems to be obligatory nowadays. I shall have to try again.

Unacceptable practices
It is outrageous that Eventim forces customers to have their tickets on a smartphone. When I am at a venue with thousands of strangers, I do not want my device - worth hundreds of Pounds - with me. But they don't care because it's all about profts.
Update: Not surprised to see Eventim trying to blame another company - their usual unfair tactic. EVENTIM impose this system - nobody else.

The only way I could get tickets…
The only way I could get tickets recently was via Paypal (which I do not like) as the usual use of a Debit card was very messy. Other sites for concert tickets are much simpler and straight forward.
