Hi! We are Paula and Andy of Evergreen Active CIC and our company exists to help everyone transform their physical and mental health and wellbeing! We do this by putting fun, inclusivity and sustainability at the forefront of being physically active, for everyone... Because after all, if being active isn't enjoyable, why would we want to do it?! We are both certified Mental Health and Exercise Coaches based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and we work across our rich and diverse district, providing a wide range of wellbeing services to people of all ages and abilities. As a Community Interest Company (CIC) we rely mainly on external funding and a fabulous team of volunteers, which means that we can provide our services for free or very low cost to anyone that would love to access them. We currently offer; Workouts for men's mental health Female only fitness BAME community activities Walking groups Running groups Family activities Lets Get Cooking sessions - eating healthily on a budget Boxercise for all ages Multisports Childrens activities Activities for older people Menopause coaching We are very social! A must do activities for families who want to have fun together!

Paula and Andy do such a fabulous job of providing 2 hours of fun every week for kids and parents alike! The kids and grown ups can’t wait for every Thursday to come round. The games are fun and inclusive and don’t feel like exercise at all. The picnics are great, and we’re look forward to cooking together as a group in the cooler months ahead

We’ve found the messages behind exercise and eating so helpful in a group setting alongside other families. Things such as taking turns, sharing, ensuring there is enough food to go round and giving new foods a try has helped to reinforce messages that we try to encourage at home which we hope in time will become healthy habits.

And all free, too! We are so grateful to Paula, Andy and Evergreen Active CIC for providing our family with the opportunity to attend the sessions.
