It took a while to get here

It took a while to get here, and when I received it, it said, I was sensitive to two foods which was eggs and egg whites. It just wasn’t worth it for me. I bought two and I felt like I could’ve got more answers to why I’m having a lot of sensitivity to foods a concept. Feel bloated and have stomach pains, so I was expecting more.

Service has gone downhill!

I submitted a test on January 28, 2025 and did not receive results until Feb 21, 2025. I saw how long it was taking and asked for a refund before my results were produced. My request was denied and they offered me a 15 percent discount which is a joke because all their sales offer about 25 percent off. I have been using EverlyWell for 3 years and have always been happy with the turnover time. I test my thyroid numerous times a year! But since the Fall of 2024 I’ve noticed big delays. I’m sad to say that I am no longer going to go with EverlyWell because of the poor service. So they lost a loyal customer.

Inaccurate results

For as much money as it was, I don’t feel as though it was very accurate. My only two red flag sensitivities (eggs) were things I feel good when I do eat, and some food labeled good food me (bread) make me feel bad. Found it to be inconsistent with how foods make my body feel

Not sure if this even works

Not sure if this even works - I know 100% I have a milk/lactose sensitivity and the test came back with no food sensitivities.

Used to work for EW

Used to work for EW, please do not purchase anything from them. I worked in CS and they make upper management sign NDAs because the tests don’t work and they are not accurate.

I myself took some tests as I got 1 free test a month and there were results that I knew were inaccurate (ex. Negative/positive STI results). When I brought my concerns to management and nurses on staff they had no answers and discouraged me from pursuing the issue further. Whenever I told management I was worried about the implications of selling inaccurate tests, I was gaslit and it was suggested that I leave the company if I didn’t share their “bigger picture”.

There were always legions of complaints about the EW results being completely off compared to in-office testing. They used to send their tests to outside labs but tried so hard to push their own lab that they refuse to admit their lab is understaffed and quality control is abysmal.

Talking about “Theranos” was a huge no-no because they didn’t want to be compared to that company. Well big whoop turns out they are absolutely Theranos.

The results were pretty much useless

The results were pretty much useless. The few things that showed up for sensitives were either things I never encounter or things that I eat without issue. Things that I do eat that cause issues did not show up.

I was having intestinal problems

I was having intestinal problems. I figured that it was probably something I was eating. I took the test and, sure enough, one food in particular was causing my problems. I eliminated that food and no more problems.

Inaccurate results Caused anxiety

After getting my results I was shocked and worried for my health. I immediately scheduled a follow up with my GP who ran a full lipid panel and I was shocked that these results were almost 100 points higher in total
Cholesterol 150 points higher in triglycerides and 50 points higher in calculated LDL.
These results caused me a great amount of stress that was unnecessary once I spoke with my doctor and got a reliable test done.

Comprehensive food allergy test

My wife ordered me a food allergy test from Everlywell. The directions were very straight forward. I did have a question after and contacted support and they responded in a 24 hour time line and answered my question. The results were easy to read and informative. Would recommend this service!
