Words can not describe how wonderful this organization is and how amazing the procedure is. I was blown away by the staff and how they worked to get me comfortable. Before during and after. I am still in my 8th week but I am down 35 pounds. Dr. McGowen is absolutely the best I have not had ONE issue at all. It’s a testament to his work and professionalism. Truly bravo

Bariendo saved my life. I was 450 pounds barely surviving. Couldn’t walk, had so many health issues. Got the ESG in the end of April this year and I’m down 85+ pounds and counting. My life was changed. The amazing support from the Bariendo team made is so possible. Truly is an amazing place!

I had the ESG surgery. The entire experience was very professional. I’ve lost 55 lbs since July. Medical kind and very supportive. They were thorough with the prep, surgery, and post-surgery. Facility performed in Florida was excellent. Surgical and nutritional staff are very supportive.

Since undergoing my TORe procedure, I’ve lost 25 pounds. I had the procedure on a Friday and was able to return to work by Tuesday.

Nothing like being able

Started off hopeful. Turns out- Entirely disappointing. Waste of time and money. You’ll be abandoned if you’re not wildly successful despite being compliant and open to all suggestions. You can do what you’re supposed to and still fail with this. Think hard about the money you’re going to spend.

I am two weeks post procedure and this is the best decision I've made for myself in a long, long, time. I looked at several clinics after choosing ESG and the aftercare at Bariendo was what sold me. Boy, have they lived up to the hype. From onboarding to my follow ups with my wellness councilor to the support from the Facebook community, this has been a great experience. If you're considering a bariatric procedure, do yourself a favor and talk to the people at Bariendo. They were not the least expensive company I spoke with, but the value of their support far exceeds and small differences in price.

From the minute I spoke to someone about wanting to learn about the procedure until now I have had nothing but the most caring, professional treatment. I have lost 37 pounds in 10 weeks, my goal is 55 pounds. I feel fantastic, the support is second to none. I feel great, no pain, no issues. This is a life altering procedure and I thank Bariendo for changing my life.

The ESG procedure by Bariendo was the best thing I have ever done for myself. The team provided support before, during, and after the procedure. The staff is incredible to say the least and they really do demonstrate their care for their clients! I always felt safe and confident going through the process. I am a frequent flyer when it comes to bariatric surgery. 2011 gastric band. Lost 85 pounds. Difficult recovery and took a long time to get the right restriction. Once I got to goal, my band slipped and started to regain. 2018 band removal. 30 days after had gastric sleeve. Surgeon did not take as much as he had hoped due to scar tissue. Never had true restriction and continued to gain back 50 pounds. No follow up and no support over those years. Came across Bariendo as I had contemplated revision to by-pass. Another invasive procedure I was not looking forward to. The endoscopic procedure proposed an alternate to an invasive and long recovery procedure. Scar tissue would not be a problem. I research and watched videos of the procedure and interviews with Bariendo doctors. I got Dr Rana. Could not be happier. From the qualifying, to pre op, to surgery day, continued follow up and support. Loved my Nurse practitioner weekly Telehealth with Cameron. Encouraging and supportive of every step. Instructive and expectations of how to feel and treat my new tool. It’s all about healing and proper nutrition to get past the first 6 weeks. 20 pounds down into Onederland! For the first time in a long time I feel accomplished. From FB to regular Telehealth with nutritionist Lori, I have faith this journey will be successful.

I had the Stomach Tightening Bariendo procedure (ESG) in January.  I was at my highest weight ever, at 230 lbs.  I had given up by then, after having tried everything else. One day out of nowhere I saw an advertisement for Bariendo.  I had never heard of these kinds of procedures before, so I was excited and I called.  A Non Invasive, same day procedure, a fraction of the cost of other Gastric procedures and very little downtime? Sign me up. 
I really loved everything about my Bariendo experience, They really care. There is no shortage of support from them the entire time. They make you feel comfortable before and during the procedure and they are there to help you after.  A few months before I had been put on statins, and 2 months after my procedure my Cholesterol numbers were back normal without medication. My PC doctor was very surprised. I sleep better and I FEEL better. 
After 6 months, I am now down 41 lbs (so far). I can't tell you how happy I am and how this changed my life. I would recommend this to my family, my friends and anybody who wants to lose weight, but not necessarily go through an expensive invasive procedure. If you stick to the plan, talk to your support (dietitian and nurse) you WILL lose weight. For me it was slow and steady and I wouldn't want it any other way. ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I HAVE MADE. 

I came across the Bariendo website while still on vacation, and travel guilt quickly set in after indulging a bit too much during my trip. From my very first impression on the website to every single interaction with the team, the experience has been flawless. It was so seamless that I went from landing on the website to being in the operating room in just 20 days.

I have struggled with weight loss my entire life. Although I had some success with in my 20's, it was mostly due to fad diets that didn't last or were too difficult to maintain.

Now in my late 40's, I thought I had found the answer with injectable GLP-1 medications. I couldn't be more wrong. The medications were often difficult to find in stock and even more difficult to pay for. Although I used them for a couple of years, my life was plagued with awful side effects such as nausea, extreme exhaustion, and constipation. In fact. I then found myself in need of other medications to counteract all of these side effects. Over all, it helped curb my appetite, but the results were not very impressive and certainly not worth the havoc they caused. I knew that this was not going to be a permanent, lasting solution. I certainly didn't want to think of the possible side effects for long term use either.

After doing some online research, I came across the Bariendo site, and from that moment my life had changed forever! From the initial call to the Bariendo team, to my consultation with the doctor, to my post recovery care, the Bariendo team was absolutely extraordinary. The level of care, compassion, and support this team has provided has been beyond any expectation. The procedure was virtually painless, and the program relatively easy to follow.

Since my procedure on 6/30/25 I have lost 43 pounds as of 8/24/25! (from 304 lbs. to 261 lbs. and counting) I have also gained....gained more energy, gained incredible sleep (bye bye sleep apnea!), gained better blood pressure, gained confidence in myself, gained control over my hunger, gained the ability to wear the clothes in my closet, and gained an optimistic outlook on my years ahead.

This was the BEST decision I have ever made to improve my health and quality of life. I have recommended this to all my loved ones. This may sound cliché, but my only regret is not doing this sooner!

I had the gastric bypass 30 years ago and had since regained the weight I couldn't find a doctor that would do a revision on my original surgery. I'm so very happy I found Dr. Thompson!!
