We booked the Ultimate Adventure Experience for Two, at Kendrew Barracks, as a birthday gift. While some parts of the day were excellent, particularly the instructors and the HGV and Ariel Atom experiences, the organisation of the Rally, Rage Buggy and Drifting section was so poor that it overshadowed what should have been a fantastic day.
The day started well with the 4x4 Off-Roader in the Discovery 3. It had no power steering, so Gabbie had to use all her strength to steer around the course, but she really enjoyed the challenge.
The problems began with the Rage Buggy. This was scheduled for 2:00 pm but didn't start until 3:05 pm. Even then, it wasn't the "fast-paced 6-lap drive" advertised on the website because a Rally car was using the same circuit, meaning Gabbie spent much of her session following another vehicle rather than driving at speed.
Next was the Rally drive in the Fiesta, scheduled for 3:00 pm but not starting until 3:44 pm. Ironically, this time it was the Rally car that was held up behind the Rage Buggy, so once again the experience didn't match what had been advertised.
The HGV drive had originally been scheduled for 2:30 pm, but the coordinator for the Rally, Rage Buggy and Drifting activities, Akshay Parmar, instructed us to complete the Rally first and then head over for the HGV. We followed his instructions, completed the HGV at around 4:10 pm, and returned for the drifting at approximately 4:35 pm as directed.
We then waited for around 25 minutes. During that time, other participants continued to be sent out while we received no meaningful update. When I finally approached Akshay again, we were told that Gabbie's drifting session could not go ahead because the drifting track had run out of water. We were informed that the drifting area relied on an IBC water tank, which took around 45 minutes to refill, and there was therefore no time left for Gabbie to complete the activity.
I completely understand that unexpected operational issues can arise, especially in hot weather. However, this should have been communicated much earlier. Instead, we were repeatedly told to come back later, waited patiently as instructed, and ultimately missed one of the headline experiences included in the package.
To Everyman's credit, after I raised the issue they provided a complimentary in-car photo package worth £20, which was appreciated. However, this only happened because I pushed for some form of compensation, and it did not replace an activity that had been paid for and that Gabbie had been particularly looking forward to.
The day finished with the Ariel Atom passenger ride, which was excellent and a real highlight. The instructors throughout the day were friendly, professional and enthusiastic, and the driving experiences themselves had great potential.
Unfortunately, the organisation of the Rally, Rage Buggy and Drifting area let the whole experience down. Delays can happen, but repeatedly allowing later arrivals to go ahead of those who had been waiting the longest, giving misleading information about when to return, and then cancelling a paid-for activity because there was no time left was extremely disappointing.
With better communication, fairer queue management and separate circuits for the Rally and Rage Buggy so they can actually be driven at the pace advertised, this could easily have been a five-star experience. Sadly, poor coordination turned what should have been a memorable birthday gift into a frustrating afternoon.

Very effective the way they worked around lots of junior drivers, we hardly had any wait time at all. Staff all lovely and drivers were enthusiastic with juniors.

Very frustrating booking process before I could even book the experience.
I received a voucher for a supercar driving experience as a birthday gift. This should have been something fun and exciting, but the booking process became very confusing, stressful and annoying.
It took two days trying to understand how to book the experience. The website does not clearly show which tracks are included with the voucher and which tracks require extra payment. When trying to book, I was sent between Buyagift and Everyman Racing, but there was no simple clear list showing the venues and dates available with my voucher at no extra cost.
Some tracks appeared to require extra payment, which was not clear when the voucher was purchased. After spending so much time trying to book, I still did not manage to get a confirmed date.
In the end, the birthday present voucher had to be given back to the person who bought it, so they can now deal with the refund. What should have been a nice birthday gift became a frustrating and time-consuming problem.
The booking system needs to be much clearer about included locations, available dates, and any extra charges before people buy or redeem the voucher.

The location was very good and the Aston Martin DB9 was great. My supercar instructor Kieran F was welcoming, and very professional. With the demo lap he helped make the experience all the better.

I was given a voucher for Christmas for a rally experience, when I arrived the staff was helpful, the rally cars was in very poor condition 2 fiesta with there bonnets up only 1 very old Subaru that could be used the other slightly newer could not be used heard the staff saying that that no oil in them and 1 had a bad tyre and had told the person in charge the day before so had to drive the old Subaru which was like a tractor then when I got in the fiesta the seat was broken and couldn't move it the track may has well been a circle only on tarmac nothing like a rally stage in anyway the staff was fine giving good advice considering the rubbish they had to work with, paid the waver insurance what a waste of money as the car looked damaged anyway, would not recommend this company to anyone

We paid extra for the in car media and also for a demo lap in the super car, neither of which were done.
Whilst my son got given a ride in an Atom buggy instead of the demo lap which was fine as he enjoyed it, the fact his recording wasn’t done was really disappointing.
We were offered a further drive to catch a recording but it was unlikely to be the super car he’d driven which then just didn’t seem worth it and We’d have had to wait around. We’re Awaiting a refund for that part.
It’s ok to sell these extra things but then make sure the drivers do them,

UPDATE JULY 2026
They are now disputing my request for a refund for the video they did not provide. I had the order signed by the media stand lady for refund.
IF you decide to deal with these people:
The drive is just a few minutes , 3 laps . you pay extra to double . Paying more for a boring drive ....
1. IF you hand them any money, do not expect to get any refunds.
2. Do NOT pay for anything you do not have to:
£20 to change the date
£30 for the £5000 crash waiver. You will be going so slowly and in a controller manner , do not bother.
£45 for the video - mine did not work.
The photographer took a photo of me sitting in the car , wow.
Get your family and friends to take pictures from the trackside
I wanted to drive the BMW police car and feel the power of the 330i. I have driven BMW 530d and 330i before and this was lame. I pressed the accelerator and it plodded along. The dashboard said there was a power restriction issue but the car was still used.
Even my daughters Mini in sport mode throws you back into the seats. This was not slow , but I may have taken my Skoda Fabia 116 bhp and it probably would have not been that different.
The video which I paid £45 for failed. Something was stuck in the SD card slot, but no one had bothered to fix it. I should get a refund, but another disappointment
The track at Oakham is part of the runway. I paid for 3 extra laps equal to 6 miles. There are 3 chicanes on each side of the runway, so you cannot get any real speed. Due to the lame performance I managed about 60mph.
I had a pleasant drive for 6 miles up and down a runway. Okay , but hardly a "thrilling" experience.

Our son is a massive formula 1 fan so for his 13th birthday we decided to buy him an experience and what a fantastic choice it was. He drove 3 of his most favourite sports cars alongside an Ariel atom ride, what a thrill! Highly recommend the media package too, the footage from the Go Pro’s are amazin, he’s been watching them back all day reliving it. Can’t wait to receive the photos. All staff from start to finish were amazing, especially Peter COYS!! Reg had the best time and we will be back.
