Used them for the first time this April…

Used them for the first time this April in Perth. Experience was excellent. Pickup and drop off was great, clean shuttle bus and great staff. The car was as new and very good. Staff were very pleasant and understanding as we were rushing for a flight on the way back out. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Deliberate Deception and Unauthorized Charges – Stay Away!

My experience with Everything Fleet was a nightmare of unprofessionalism and attempted fraud.

The Facts:

Unauthorized Early Charges: They charged my credit card for the full bond on February 4th – while I was still driving the vehicle and days before the return date. No explanation, no report, just a silent withdrawal.

Attempted Deception (NT Travel): After I had to replace two tyres due to massive wear (tread chipping), the management tried to claim I had entered a "forbidden area" in the Northern Territory. They insisted I pay for the tyres myself. Only after I meticulously studied their own Terms & Conditions did I find out this was a lie. I had full written permission to travel there, but they deliberately tried to mislead me to avoid paying for their own vehicle's maintenance.

Maintenance Issues: The car was poorly maintained. When the tyres failed due to wear and tear, they tried to frame it as "damage" caused by me.

Inspection Lies: Upon return, a staff member performed a full digital inspection with a handheld device, took photos, and confirmed everything was fine. Yet, the "Claims Department" later claimed their staff was "unable to perform inspections" to stall the refund process.

Conclusion: They only refunded my money "silently" after I provided proof from their own T&Cs and escalated the case through Check24 with a strict deadline.

Warning to all travelers: This company uses intimidation and misinformation to keep your deposit. Document everything, read every line of your contract, and do not let them bully you. Better yet: Rent somewhere else.

I hired a vehicle from the Brisbane…

I hired a vehicle from the Brisbane office in December - excellent service when collecting the car, couldn’t fault it!
We had our own Insurance Excess cover.
However - we had a kangaroo run into the side of it and cause two slight dents to the passenger door, which I told them about as soon as we returned it…. everything changed!
Aggressive, demanding $5,000 , then weeks of waiting for quotes etc.
You are totally at their mercy unless you can challenge them by being there…we live 12,000 miles away,
Repair quote - in my opinion - was excessive and did not reflect the damage sustained.
Would not answer questions asked of them
Would never use them again.

Stress of useless contact numbers and Engine Oil

We arrived at Perth Airport having found Everything Fleet through argus.com. We had an issue with contacting EF for a pick up from the Terminal as our roaming package did not allow us access to special Australian access numbers (1- numbers). With no information desk visible in the Terminal, I was at my wits end, when I called upon the kindness of an Australian guy who offered me his mobile, declining my offer to pay for my call. Very stressy moment after a long flight. Everything Fleet - please provide a regular access international number ! The car we got and the service once we arrived was both fine. Our next issue came when we were 250k away from Perth and the low engine oil warning light came on. It was challenging to get hold of people at EF, and we finally spoke with a lady from EF who sorted out a local garage to do a visual check and fill up the oil. Of course, I could have done this myself, but EF initially wanted us to get their recovery service out, or drive the car 250k back to perth, which would have meant waiting around during our holiday and more hassle. We had the car oil issue sorted by Carl from Jurien Tyre and Auto, and reported back to EF that all was sorted. We were explicitly offered (via WA) a refund to cover the costs, and to have the charges for our extra driver revoked. Rest of the trip was fine, and when returning the car, we checked with the manager about the oil and refunds etc. to be told that all was in hand (i.e. for a second time). We have returned to the UK now and have no refunds at all after all the stress that was caused by EF not having a useful contact number for UK hirers or fee and hassle return for sorting the Oil. That said, the car and price were great - just check that the car was serviced recently !

Micheal - picked us up from airport within the 10minutes of the ride from airport to the car pick up he was respectful and made Australia feel instantly like home 🏠 Thank you Micheal. May more people be like you.

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. Paid a deposit in advance. When I collected the car, I was told there was no record of this payment and as such, was charged the full amount plus an excessive booking fee. Have already supplied with proof of this payment via email and they have said bad luck. Thieves and illegally operating. I will be following up to recover this money.
