Amazing service
I was messed around by this company for…
I was messed around by this company for over 6 weeks. They kept asking for documents even though I had previously submitted them. They finally approved my car finance and then a few days later did a u-turn and declined the finance. Absolute joke and I would avoid!

Polite and communicative, but not proactive & no support when it mattered
I have an ongoing issue with a right to reject a vehicle with the statutory 30 days and where Evolution acted as the broker.
Evolution Funding did respond to calls and emails promptly initially, and the individuals I spoke to were mostly polite and professional.
However, responsiveness alone isn’t enough when a customer is exercising clear statutory rights.
In my case, I raised a legitimate right-to-reject issue within the required timeframe. When I spoke to Evolution complaints team I was specifically told that the matter would be passed to an “unwind team” and that it would likely be resolved within around 7 days. While the case was forwarded, that expectation turned out to be misleading and gave a false sense of progress.
As the situation has developed, there was little evidence of Evolution actively applying proportionate pressure to either the dealer or the finance company given the urgency of the issue, apart from potentially one phone call they made to the dealer of which I have no documented evidence of, even though I have asked for it.
Despite being the broker in the middle of the transaction. At one point, I was also told that the issue was becoming “close to 30 days” and therefore not a complaint they could suppot and I needed to just chase the finance company which was frustrating, as I had already raised the issue well within the statutory window.
When multiple parties are involved (dealer, broker, finance provider and you investing significant money on a vehicle ), the customer shouldn’t feel like they are being passed around or that each party is working in isolation. All parties should be acting fairly and collaboratively, especially when a customer is simply trying to exercise their legal rights.
Overall, Evolution Funding were communicative, but ultimately did not add meaningful support or advocacy when it mattered. Now at this point when I call or e-mail I received nothing. No formal complaint process, no reference, no update.
The case has now reached litigation. Evolution have been informed but still I have no response or support.
If you are considering evolution as part of a vehicle transaction, I would be cautious based on my experience.
