Very basic programmes and very basic apps. Just get one session with a PT with the price you pay who will be more helpful for workouts.

I’ve been using the Evolve You app for 6 years
I’ve been using the Evolve You app for 6 years now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the most consistent and supportive parts of my fitness journey. The workouts are effective, easy to follow, and adaptable whether you’re a beginner or more advanced.
What really sets this app apart, though, is how much they genuinely care about their community. They don’t just see you as a number or a subscription—they actually value their long-term users in such a personal and thoughtful way. I was so surprised (and honestly touched) to receive flowers from them the other day 💐 It’s such a small gesture on the surface, but it meant a lot and really shows the kind of brand they are.
After 6 years, I’m still here—and that says everything. If you’re looking for something that goes beyond just workouts and actually makes you feel part of something, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Annual renewal process is a trap when…
Annual renewal process is a trap when you sign up on website. They don't send you an email letting you know it is renewal time and when I canceled it on the renewal date and kindly asked for a refund as I don't use the app, they gave a scripted response. Honestly I'm a little pissed off, I thought it was a good brand and I thought they would understand. I would have used the app in the future if they gave me my refund, now I am never using the app and I'm taking my business else where.
Misleading Advertisement. Find another program.
I saw constant ads on social media for "1 year free trial" of EvolveYou, so I decided to give it a try. I signed up and about a week or so later decided to start the program. I tried one class and did not like it. As I looked through the app I realized it's nothing different from other programs on the market. Thankfully I did not have to pay for it, or so I thought. What they didn't advertise along with the "1 year free" is that you have to pay a full 1 year membership first, and THEN you get the next year free. What else is disappointing with this company is that cancelling is confusing. Apparently if you sign up through Apple or directly through them will determine how you need to cancel the program. When I emailed customer service to request a refund they declined and said their terms and conditions state that I agreed to pay 1 year ahead. Please do not consider this program or this company. Their business practices are deceptive.
Poor customer service
As a follower of Krissy Cela for years I had more faith in her, her app and her team. After reaching out to the team for what was a simple mistake, they didn’t show any sympathy or understanding but rather simply robotic with their response.
I have supported all Krissy’s other businesses- her activewear and online platforms and when I simply forgot to cancel my subscription by 1 day and proving evidence that I had not even used the app, they could’ve just acknowledged it was a mistake and refunded the full amount not partial.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Trash app. Continues to charge you despite being unable to access or cancel due to issues with the platform.
Very basic app, 0 customer experience
Very basic app with very basic content. Could definitely get more out of one PT session for the amount you pay for this app.
Subscribed via their website as I had a discount, not knowing the only way to cancel is on the website and not on the App Store.
Had reached out and asked for a refund as they could see I had only used the app for one month in the whole year I had it before they renewed it which they refused to give me.
Poor customer experience, also have heard such bad things from friends in the industry on this company and the CEO.
I cancelled the subscription in januar…
I cancelled the subscription in januar 2025! Also evolve you deducted in januar 2026 83,99 from my account. They don,t withdraw the money to me and told me that i didn,t cancelled the subscription!!So members look out for what they are doing.
free trial period is a scam
This app advertises a free trial period but they don’t honour it if you go through the App Store. So scammy! Tried to email them and they won’t refund me which is extremely disappointing. Overall have used the app once or twice and never very impressed. The workouts are messy and flip between equipment and machines so hard to set yourself up to do a session in the gym without spending time between sets having to move about.
Difficult to cancel they make it as…
Difficult to cancel they make it as hard a possible so they can keep your money
Taken my money despite subscription cancelled
I recently downloaded the Evolve You app with the intention of trying it out during the 7-day free trial. Unfortunately, the app didn't meet my expectations, so I decided to cancel my subscription within the trial period. Despite cancelling in time, I was charged for the subscription.
Over the past week, I've been trying to resolve this issue by reaching out via email multiple times. I received only one response that wasn't helpful, and I'm still waiting for the refund. I expected better communication and resolution from the Evolve You team. Until this experience is resolved, I cannot recommend this service.
Terrible business practices
I found the app to be just OK... Definitely not worth the $89/year. There are multiple issues for me with how inflexible the app it. You can't alter the length of time for the workouts, and many of them and really long... Like it would probably take me 90 minutes. There is no easy way to skip an exercise if you can't do it because your gym doesn't have the equipment and the alternative option is something you've already done. I tried a core challenge that was video based and there was so much talking and you are unable to fast forward through that.
The biggest issue is that I signed up for the app through an ad. I saw that they had two trainers who I follow who I really like so I joined. I was disappointed and I didn't want to renew. Around the time when my expiration was coming up looked in my subscriptions and I couldn't find it. I tried going to the app and I got screen saying that they couldn't fetch my profile, so I thought it expired and was no longer active. Normally when a subscription is going to renew, a company sends out a notice stating when the renewal is scheduled to happen. I received no notice and then I received an invoice the night before renewal. I contacted customer support and explained my issue and that I didn't receive notice of renewal and I sent a screenshot of the screen that came up when I tried to use the app. They were totally unwilling to refund me even despite how it appeared that I was no longer a member, and despite the fact that THEY SENT NO NOTICE OF UPCOMING RENEWAL. So I'm out another $89 for an app that I don't like and won't use. Stay away from this company.
Prompt and helpful customer service
I originally wrote a one star review for poor customer service but I am back to edit that review to say that I have received prompt response to my issues from Jessica in customer service and she resolved my issue that the previous person could not. Although I will no longer be utilizing the app because I value group/in person coaching more, I found the app helpful and easy to use with a large variety of workouts.
I would give them zero stars if I could
I would give them zero stars if I could, they have appalling customer service and a terrible app. Paid for the first year and only used for a month because it wasn't good, thought I had cancelled it and then 11 months later was charged for another year. I immediately contacted them within hours of being charged and was told there was nothing they could do. There are plenty of better apps with better customer service as well
Disappointing company
I haven’t used this program in a year and didn’t find it worthwhile in the first place. There was no renewal reminder or warning before I was charged $59.99 again. I contacted support immediately, but they refused a refund based on their policy about emailing BEFORE the charge. That is comical. Charging without notice and denying refunds for unused services is unfair and leaves a bad impression. I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone. Scam company.
Subscription Pirates
The subscription policy at EvolveYou is designed to entrap consumers into renewals. The company provide no forewarning of an upcoming renewal, the subscription is not available on iOS like every other app, in a ploy to claim more money off people trying to improve their health.
After realising £69.99 was claimed, I contacted the customer “service” team the day of and was greeted with little to no empathy for my financial situation and how I have not been using and can not afford this app. Instead I was repeatedly told “this is our policy” after challenging the lack of communication - there is a lack of genuine care for their customers.
Be careful signing up to this app, the team care more about keeping their profits than the wellbeing of their “customers”. Total pirates.
If I could give zero stars, I would
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I signed up to this app over a year ago and barely used it because, frankly, I don’t think it’s very good. I was under the impression that I had cancelled my subscription, but without any warning or reminder, they took an annual payment out of my account out of the blue.
I contacted customer support within minutes of the charge, assuming that, like any reputable company, there would be a cooling-off period or some flexibility. Unfortunately, despite the lack of notice and the fact I haven’t used the app, they refused to issue a refund.
Really disappointing experience. I would strongly advise avoiding this company.
AVOID - Auto-renewal scam
This is insane, the year is 2025 and this company will take money out of your account without any notifications prior to the renewal.
Imagine having a yearly subscription you forgot about and they just TAKE the money without letting you know, and then will not give it back if you notice literally within 15 minutes (we reached out, your response time was conveniently late)? This is straight up robbery.
And the fact that you HAVE to have a card in your profile just points more towards the fact that they are intentionally doing this. Just to milk money from unaware people.
Avoid at all costs. This is a company that does not care about their consumer.
Terrible service
Terrible service.
Original purchased a black Friday deal, no email to say you will have a renewal. They just take the money out, and then say you cannot get a refund.
They are just robbing hard working people.
As a customer you have a right to return if purchasing an item.
Just don't even bother.
My experience replicates others…. AVOID!
My experience replicates others on here. I signed up for the seven day trial and it rolled onto a subscription. When I tried out the app for the first time it was very apparent that it wouldn’t meet my needs. I contacted customer service and they confirmed that they could indeed see I hadn’t used the app in the trial period, that I had completed one workout in the app before contacting them and accepted that the app didn’t meet my needs. Basically, said ‘tough you should have tried it in the seven day trial.’ I can’t believe that Kristy Cela would want to have this kind of reputation of her company and these kinds of reviews on her trustpilot - however, given that this is probably a reflection of the true person behind the scenes it’s also time to unfollow and be de-influenced!
Auto-renewal scam
I’m so disappointed with my experience using the EvolveYou app, particularly the Auto-renewal and I feel scammed.
The company sends frequent marketing emails, yet I received no notice that my annual membership was about to renew. I’ve also been refused a refund. Not sending a notification that the membership is auto-renewing is unethical - seems really shady and not a company I would consider renewing in the future with / support. This experience has really changed my perception of the company.
EvolveYou should be honest and transparent with its customers by sending a clear reminder before a membership renews. Even the responses via email are generic and offer no room for understanding at all.
