Can highly recommend Evo Renewables to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced company for a solar installation.
I did a lot of research and felt confident enough to know what I wanted out of the system beforehand. I got a few different quotes from various companies that I had narrowed down to who I felt were a possibility.
Evo felt right from initial contact and no questions were too much for Ben - both on emails and at the home visit. Absolutely no hard sell whatsoever.
It is good that Evo offer various products as part of what they will install so you have options rather than having to stick to one particular product only which some companies do.
All communication is very clear and documentation provided is thorough.
When it came to the installation, all of the team from the scaffolders, roofers and electricians were excellent with a real high standard of work and very professional. It's obvious that they all take pride in their work.
System has been running smoothly over the few days since install and I couldn't be happier with it.

Ben at the team at EVO were very knowledgable and professional. We asked them to review the solar panels we inherited with our new house. They advised us that these did not need replacing and fitted a battery. Their support after the installation was also excellent. We would highly recommend them

We already had a Givenergy AIO, but it wasn't enough, to enable us to capture all of our Solar generation. So we decided to have another one in parallel.
We weren't happy with the previous installer, so got a quote from Ben at Evo.
The quote was a fair price and right from the start, it was a much better experience. I had seen his videos on YouTube and straight away, I knew he was the man for us.
The only problem was, that we are a long drive from where they are based. But he was happy to travel and it wasn't a drama. With some installers, if it's not next door to them, it's a real imposition and they let you know it!
However, not with Ben, the whole thing was a totally different experience from the first time.
If I had my time again, would I go with Givenergy, well that's a different story.
But whatever I had, I would have Ben (Evo) install it. Without a doubt the best decision we made. In the cloudy subject, that Solar/batteries can be, Evo are a guiding light.

Very competitive price after getting a number of quotes, explained the system that would meet my needs and didnt try to over sell like some companies, they work was completed professionally, clean and works great, great customer support as well, would highly recommend and will be using them in the future for a EV charger to link to the system.

EVO are great! They solved some complicated site specific issues and installed my system perfectly! Wet knowledgable and helpful.

Ben Matt and Nick from the EVO Renewables team worked really hard to install our panels, inverter, battery and EV point.

I am a retired chartered engineer and have undergraduate qualifications in renewables. I lectured in electrical installations.

I fully support the other entries. Evo and Ben in particular were outstandingly professional, the quote was extremely fair, the installation was excellent and overall I am extremely happy with Evo.

I spent many months searching for a fair quote from a technically qualified person. Ben and Evo ticked all the boxes.

I had installed my own PV installation and are hoping they will came back and install it professionally if I can afford the quote.

From start to finish Evo Renewables are first class. From the first phone call with Ben everything just seemed right. He arranged the call and called on time. He spent as long as we both needed to get an idea of what was right for me. He offered invaluable advice and answered a mountain of questions from me.

Ben then submitted a proposal to me with a few options, a couple more calls and emails and Ben arranged to visit our house to confirm all was as I had stated. We discussed and agreed the options and Ben went away and revised his offer to reflect our agreement. Once received, I signed on the dotted line and left everything to Ben and his team.

I had I settled for a 10KW solar array with 6KW inverter and a Givenergy all in one with Gateway. This needed DNO agreement which Ben sort and gained in line with his estimated timescale. He then called me and said he could be ready to start Monday week as originally pencilled in.

The Friday before the start date the scaffolders arrived erected the scaffold and were gone within a couple of hours. Nice guys as well.

Monday bang on 9 AM as agreed the team including Ben arrived to start work. Unfortunately, so did Gale force winds. I could believe it when then went up on the roof and put the rails up and said they would take the panels back with them and fit them later in the week.

Tuesday, Matty arrived early and started the electrical works. The attention to detail was lovely to see. Everything plumb and in line. Ben arrived mid morning with more equipment and completed the install.
Wednesday the 24 panels went up on the roof and connection were brought down to the equipment leaving Thursday for testing and commissioning. Then a full demonstration for me.

To say that I am happy with the installation, the service I received and the quality of the workmanship would be an understatement.

I whole heartedly recommend Evo Renewable if you are as fussy as me and expect to get treated with respect, have people arrive when they say they will and want a quality installation backed by long term warranties from well know names in the renewable world.

I didn't even mind parting with my money, now that says something!!

Well, what you waiting for, make the call. I don't regret it.

Ben and his team and Evo Renewables were excellent and very competitive on price. Nothing was too much trouble and gave detailed quotes before installation for couple different options. Went for Myenergi Libbi batteries with solar to match the Zappi charger we already had. Some tweaks were needed but promptly dealt with. Highly recommend Ben and the team.

EVO have recently completed a Solar and Battery install for me – I selected EVO after working with several companies to get quotes. Whilst not the cheapest quote what attracted me was that I was working directly (and face to face) with someone who was both the company owner and who would be involved in the install too, rather than a sales rep or ‘designer’ and that they understood my requirements fully. There was excellent communication throughout ahead of the install, the team arrived on the allotted day and completed the work within the agreed timeframe, I was impressed with their approach to their work which was highly professional and friendly, and they were able to answer all my questions throughout. Subsequently we have had electricians to do some other work on the house and they commented that the install was amongst the best they had seen for many years which provides me with great confidence. I have no hesitation in recommending EVO for this type of installation.

Evo Renewables have provided an excellent service from start to finish. As you would expect, the team are highly knowledgeable about the equipment and capability of solar technology. I am pleased with the installation and would recommend this company.

Like others here, I would recommend Ben and his crew highly. I had a GivEnergy 3.8Kw Inverter and 8.2Kw battery added to my existing solar system and also my consumer unit moved. Their attention to detail and knowledge is 100% in my opinion. Turned up on time and worked solidly all day - these guys are not avid tea-drinkers like some firms! Received a reasonable quote and all the guys were courteous and clean. Even fixed a problem with my existing electrics (no charge). If you're thinking of anything electrical or solar you MUST get these guys. Thanks to Ben, Matty and Tim - Rgds Jeff

Ben was very professional, knowledgeable, timely and extremely courteous. Came to sort out an incomplete installation by another company at very short notice. I would highly recommend Ben and Evo to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for your help in sorting everything out :)

Couldn't ask for better service

Ben recommended, supplied and installed a GivEnergy battery system to work with our existing Solar PV and EV charger.
The whole process was done in a very professional way. I cannot fault the service we received and very happy with the resulting system.
