I committed to studying with Exam FX for the Property & Casualty Insurance exam. It sounds so straight forward, and it really is. I made sure to read the chapters slowly to understand the concepts, I took notes on my own, and I watched the videos at the end of the chapters to help clarify any concepts that were still fuzzy. I spent ~50 hours studying across two weeks and I passed. ExamFX is great!

Awful customer service and read the fine print b/c they are just trying to take your money. I signed up for an insurance class and decided to not pursue it, i figured since it was online and I never started it that it would be an easy return...NOPE, they refused to give me my money back no matter what. They just keep pointing to their 6 bullet point return policy that makes NO sense. What a scam and awful company.
Kate, I have yet to receive a clear answer from anyone on why if the course was never started why you would not offer some type of refund? I’m sorry, but I’m not going to accept “it’s part of our policy”. That is not sufficient enough when I haven’t used any part of it, but you’ve taken my payment!

That said, we try to educate customers during checkout and ask them to acknowledge the refund policy.

For any of you out there like me that have multiple professional licenses and constant CE requirements you may be accustomed to having access to your course work for much longer periods of time. HERE IT'S 60 DAYS or they will ask you to PAY MORE for an EXTENSION. Of the handful of online companies I've frequented over the years this is the ONLY one that I've ever seen operate that way. VERY DISAPOINTED.

Hi, GinjaNinja, we do offer 60-day course access for our prelicensing exam prep courses because we find that this is a sweet spot for course content retention and completion of content that ensures exam-day success.
We also have a recommended study schedule built into each course to help you get through the content with the 60-days of access you have.
However, for our CE courses and library, users have 365-day access to the library, plus its updated in real-time with any new courses available.
Our access periods are relatively standard to the industry.

Multiple modes of learning
I am a person that learns better when multiple modes of learning are incorporated. First reading the information, then watching the videos gives me most information, but the quiz format and practice test format allowed for me to learn as I tested. I think this really solidifies and adds to what I had pulled from the information.

Great experience
The website was very easy to use and understand. I like that I can just log in and access my course instead of searching everywhere for it. I also liked that I could cross out any answers I knew were wrong in the chapter quiz. The only thing I didn't like so much was there was A LOT of reading. It made studying a little challenging because it felt like an overwhelming amount of information all at once. I would suggest including brain breaks in the chapters and encouraging users to keep going by adding positive feedback once in a while. It can be slightly tedious to just sit and read for hours on end. However, the overall experience was great and I have already recommended this sight to a few people.

Depending on what study package you purchased, we do have a couple of options to help break up chapter reading. For example, our Video Study Package provides videos that cover 80% of the chapter reading. We do also offer a Live Online Session Package which includes full-day virtual learning with live instruction. These tend to be a bit of a better fit for learners who don't love a ton of reading.
Despite all of the reading, it sounds like you were successful!
