Keeps disconnecting friends. I paid to actually be able to play for longer with my partner, however it keeps kicking him every 3-4 minutes, the worst thing is that we do NOT have connection problems. it's the server website, I want either this problem fixed or money refunded (TLauncher user) since I spent almost £5 on this..

10/10 for hourly hosting, if you won't play more the 4h/day every month, then it's the best choice.

Excellent server hosting with some of the BEST cpu's for minecrafts single core issues. Beats a lot of other dedicated hostings. Gets very cheap if you dont need to run your server 24/7. Also has bungeecord/waterfall/velocity support for multi-server network setups. Everything supports "Start-on-connect" wich means the first user that connects will start the server, if you enabled that setting.

I was looking for a service where I could run a server just for a few hours while on a live stream, and wouldn't have to be paying for the majority of the time when I wouldn't be using it. Glad I came across Exaroton, it's very good pricing if you only need it for short periods of time, its performance is great and Discord support is very helpful. Would recommend!

I don't have much experience with Servers, but I can tell for sure that hosting a server here for you and your friends is definitely worth its money! I'm playing with my gf alot so I only use 2 GB RAM (each 1 GB RAM = + 1C/h), so 5 EUR (= 500C) already suffice for months for us! Basically it charges you 1C each time you start up your server until you have paid a total of 10C for starting up each month. If you don't start up the server in a month it charges you those 10C automatically (from my understanding of the contract you sign). Then ofc you pay 1 Credit/RAM/hour.
But because you first have to buy Credits on your account you'll never get charged money off your bank account. Which is good!
When you don't have any C to be charged at the end of the month your Server will get deleted (After my gf and I had an a couple months long break I still had a decent amount of Cs left). Fortunately you can simply download your world to your PC in a .zip file and upload it to the Server later. You can also Backup your World on Exaroton, though I didn't need that so far.
They also have a list of 5256 plugins you can easily install on your Server by selecting them! Splendit! For that you first go to the Software tab → Select Spigot/Bukkit (Haven't chosen any other "for plugins" Servers myself yet, perhaps there's different plugins available for those). Then you choose the plugins you want under the Plugins tab.
So I'm very happy I found this Server provider. It's so simple, safe, fair and cheap! I can only recommend it !

Exaroton is great, however I the prices arent. Yes, it is cheap if you start it up every time you play, however for the same price you can get 24/7 servers with the same amount of RAM. Not a bad host but i prefer Different hosts

I've been using exaroton for like a month now and it's cheap and good quality: like I barely get crashes. When I got a huge bug on my server (which was nothing in relation to exaroton) a moderator helped me out and fixed it for me! I would recommend exaroton to everybody who's thinking about a Minecraft server!

Great service for small money because you only pay for every hour the server actually runs. We had a minecraft vanilla server with standart specs and it ran smooth with 7 people on it.

Really good support on discord is really fast and really cheap.

It is about 5$ a month if you play every night for 4 hours with 2gb ram. Cheaper than competition. Also do not open support tickets, they suck with support. Message their twitter or discord

I was a user of Exaroton since September 2020. I hosted there 2 servers - first from September to October and the second one from December till today. On the second server, which is a minigames Minecraft server I am creating with my friends, just got broke yesterday (on panel says it is online and I am normally being charged 4 credits/hour). I thought it was a unexpected problem while I was setting up plugins, but server logs said that everything was OK and I don't have to take any further action. But when I am trying to connect to my server from Minecraft client, it just doesn't. There was an error which just said "Timeout exceeded" or "Connection refused, no further information". Since Exaroton is a paid server provider (I've paid 16.77 PLN for 250 credits), I require to get my server up and running. The Exaroton support leaves much to be desired, while competition is responding faster. In conclusion, Exaroton just got worse.

It is cheap, powerfull and easy to use. I would like changeable server locations though.

This is a great host in theory, but pretty bad in practice. basically, if you buy a server from a premium host (shockbyte, apex hosting, etc.) they will charge you for keeping the server up 24/7. With exaroton, the server is offline most of the time, and when a player joins it will automatically start up. Because of this, exaroton can be much cheaper then its competition. However, here is why its pretty bad:
1. the support is just average. ~3 hr support ticket response time, but its pretty cheap anyway. still, most of its competition has a <15 minute support ticket response time and live chat
2. it takes ~30-60 seconds to start up, time that can be used to play on the server. Ik this isn't much, but still
3. the servers are always hosted in Europe, so you can't choose a location
4. (and this is the worst) half of the time it dosen't start up properly, so i have to go to exaroton's website. this is a pain when my friends try to log on, and they have to call me and tell me to activate the server

Since it's pay as you play, it is really cheap. It's really like premium Aternos, with more features all for really cheap.
