Just returned from our Ancient & Modern Japan trip. A very busy 2 weeks. There is a lot of fast paced walking, around 8-10 miles per day. But if you want to see the variety that Japan has to offer... See more

Whether you're trekking Everest or exploring Egypt’s wonders, one thing’s for certain, it’s more extraordinary with Exodus. Travelled on the Discover Namibia 2 week camping trip. This is a great way to experience southern Africa, its wildlife and scenery. All the Exodus staff from booking through to the tour guide and cook on the trip were excellent and did their upmost to ensure everything ran smoothly and that we enjoyed our time in Namibia. The flora, fauna and landscape did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning. Camping brought us closer to the wildlife, and breathtaking views of the sunsets and night skies. All the campsites were well equipped and the camp food was excellent. Highly recommended for those with an adventurous spirit.

Climbed on 30 April 2026, guided by Mohamed Ait Imouden. Mohamed is an exceptional guide, both in terms of mountain leading, group management and ascent planning. His knowledge and experience brought the trip to life and his EQ allowed him to manage a diverse group effectively. One of the best in country guides and leaders I have experienced. There are too many accolades to list here, but if you get him as a guide, you are truly lucky. If you are looking for a challenging but manageable summit and a guide who will ensure not only your safety, but maximise your chances of success - Mohamed is the man. I was also impressed with the post summit tour we did of Armed and Imlil which included a visit to his house for tea and to meet his family. A top man with top skills and EQ. A real credit to the mountain-guiding community and Exodus tour leading community. He should secure a well deserved podium for the 2026 leadership award for sure. Cheers Mo :-)

An excellent introduction to Japan. Well organised, great accommodation, amazing Japanese food, and fantastic guides. The trip of a lifetime!
Very helpful
Never too sure if could get better flight deals.
When flights booked was told booking premium economy with Air China allowed seats to be selected then and assumed (wrongly) that this had been done.
Meant stuck with middle seats although last 2 together
Good communication, good ideas when our trip had to be cancelled and help finding new trip
Easy to book and honoured my previously cancelled trip
Porto to Lisbon, lead by competent, kind, friendly guides. All was very well planned and very carefree. The group mostly used electric bikes. The guides took care of every detail, and the group enjoyed the journey.

When two friends are booking and don’t live together then it’s important to send e mails to both people. Exodus are good at doing this. Often other companies will only send e mails to the lead booker. Some will not speak to the second person or indeed accept their payment without a fuss.
It is issuing clear and before time information that I am very happy to receive as planning is critical for a new and good experience.
I look forward to the FB group discussions
We had a great time on this tour. We got to see and learn about many places in this beautiful area of Italy, while having all the details organized for us. We stayed in a small town that immersed us in the local culture. Our group leader was excellent, helping us make the most of our visit, and we were fortunate to meet many wonderful people in our group.

I have travelled with you for some time and I like the trips you have.
I have completed this already! I had a good response from Sophie.
Walking the Amalfi Coast was a fantastic experience! Not for the faint hearted as it’s quite strenuous, even if you’re pretty active. But truly a fabulous holiday. The scenery is stunning and the people we met were great fun too. The staff from Exodus looked after us every step of the way. We didn’t need to worry about anything, we just enjoyed the trip!

The Backroads of Sri Lanka bike tour was a fantastic way to explore the country and experience local culture beyond the usual tourist paths. Cycling through rural villages and scenic backroads offered an authentic glimpse into everyday life, traditions, and the warmth of the people.
The activities were thoughtfully curated and memorable. The safari was a standout highlight—we were incredibly fortunate to see leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and a stunning variety of exotic birds. Visits to the spice garden and cinnamon grove were both fascinating and educational, offering insight into Sri Lanka’s rich agricultural heritage. A particularly special experience was sharing dinner at a local chef’s home, where hospitality and authentic cuisine made for an unforgettable evening.
Our guide, Suresh, truly elevated the entire journey. He went out of his way to anticipate everyone’s needs and ensured that every guest had a meaningful and enjoyable experience. His knowledge, attentiveness, and care made this trip not just a vacation, but a truly memorable adventure.

My Exodus trip to Colombia was an excellent "full on"comprehensive tour of the country. Highly recommended!
Our tour leader, David was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country and made the trip a memorable one. He was very kind and considerate and made everyone feel part of our 'family' group. He is a real asset to both Exodus and his country and obviously enjoys his role as a Tour Leader!

Amazing trip, thanks to our wonderful driver Takis, around ancient Greece visiting a variety of sites and museums with a superb guide Averkios. Good overview and also so beautiful with all the spring flowers and some lovely seaside and mote inland locations. Food was great from local taveras and restaurants, especially for me as I live fish and shellfish. Exodus delivered yet again.

Fabulous tour Walking the Prosecco Hills, a less well known part of Italy but with stunning scenery. We also had day trips to Venice and Treviso and of course wonderful food and lots of Prosecco tasting. A great mix of walking, culture, food and Prosecco

My two week tour of Ancient & Modern Japan took in many highlights for tourists to Southern Japan. It was busy and quite tiring at times with a packed itinerary and a lot of walking. We had a small group of 8 which meant we were able to fit in some ‘optional extras’ which our guide facilitated. Lucky to see Mt Fuji with no cloud cover and the last of the cherry blossom. We went in mid-April and the weather was kind - temperate and very little rain. If you wanted the full wow of cherry blossom you should go earlier as it is pretty much finished by 10th April. We still saw the late blooming trees and maybe had warmer days. Lots of interesting info from our English speaking guide. A great trip and I will go with Exodus again.
