Chana and Elaine (and Pesach) were patient, clear in their instructions and explanations, and extremely fast in helping us deal with our tax situation. I tend to find taxes very stressful, and with their guidance I felt much more relaxed in dealing with them.

My shear ignorance of tax laws and expat status had kept me from filing for over 20 years. When I realized that I had to remediate the situations I contacted several companies and found that even asking questions, getting information about my situation before committing required paying a fee. At Expat Tax CPA my first contact was friendly and helpful with a free 15 min Q&A. They made sure they understood my situation before proceeding and this made me feel reassured.
I tend to get overwhelmed with paperwork and technology. The list they sent me of what they needed was clear and precise and the secure portal on the website made it easy to send things.
At the beginning I wasn’t sure if I was going to owe back taxes, be fined for not filing or be drowned in decades of back paper work. In the end, through the Streamline program, Expat Tax CPA took care of the last three years of my Taxes and even got me a nice tax refund I wasn’t expecting at all!
I dealt with three different people during the process, all of whom I was able to contact via email and two whom I spoke with over the phone. Great custom service!

Doing taxes is a very stressful experience for me; trying to keep up with all of the documents, foreign tax requirement verbiage and tax code changes that seem to happen yearly. I was very impressed to receive a call from the CEO following my initial comment to understand the basis of my score and comments on the compay's service.

In terms of your main core service which of course is to submit your clients' tax returns in a professional manner - I have no hesitation in rating that core aspect as 5 star.

I was disappointed in the long time it took for my phone calls and emails to be responded to, especially for something that was time sensitive. In addition, I was overcharged without explanation- and only once I raised the issue was it fixed, without so much of an apology or discussion.

They make my life easier. This is why we have been using them for 10+ years

Absolute unprofessional organization.

Due to my complicated tax situation, I have worked with multiple accountants in both the Israeli and US departments. I have found everyone of the accountants to be knowledgeable, courteous, responsive and very customer service oriented.

The check list is very helpful to ensure that all information is provided and there are no misunderstandings.
The staff is always very friendly and patient.

One thing that would be helpful is for the team to proactively update the client with estimated completion dates, or proactively update when things get delayed so that we don't have to keep asking.

Helpful, professional, prompt

I contacted this company for support on my expat taxes. I sent an email with my information and what I needed tax-wise, and since then, they have just filled my email with spam (automated emails) from Avi. I never even received a response to my initial email. Now I have to take the time to block all emails coming from this company, as well as write this review so potential new customers can AVOID. Not sure if this company is fake or what the deal is, but they definitely do not have. a grip on their communications with potential customers.
