Continues charging donations despite cancellation

I decided to cancel my donation for unrelated reasons, having previously donated to them for two years in support of independent journalism that counters and questions the establishment narrative that is incentivised by limitless funding.

They ignored my request through email and continued charging my card more than two weeks later.

Since they use Stripe – who cannot cancel payments without request from a merchant – the remaining option was to block my bank card and/or initiate a dispute (chargeback).

Will update review if appropriate.

Sharks. Don’t give them your money

They ask you to set up a regular payment by credit card, but there is no way to cancel the ‘subscription’, and I have written many times. I’m having to cancel my debit cards.
Also you get an average of 3 begging emails every day
