Trying the proofreading experience for the first time with a small sample of my thesis went well so I decided to proofread an entire chapter with everything going well quality wise. I carried on with more chapters and was happy I could select my editor too to make the style the same.

Using the track changes on the proofreading is actually a good idea. I think it works well for getting your paper really good and means you see every single proofreading change easily

I like how the track changes feature of microsoft word is used to highlight the proofreading changes. It means it’s super easy to see what exactly in my text has been changed and gives me the option of accepting, rejecting, or modifying it and everything is there recorded so I can always go back and change or restore as I see fit. I think this is best way to go about it really
