Their customer service is horrible. Always send you to Sales

Their customer service is horrible. They have zero technical support and just want to hand you off to a sales rep which are very uninformed. I had purchased front fender flares with an LED DRL light where one needed to be replaced (went bad after 2 years) and the rep told me they were out of stock. Then I found the item doing my own research on their website. Just horrible.

Paid extra because your web site said…

Paid extra because your web site said in stock if ordered within 4 hour would deliver by Friday. So I ordered immediately the next day my tracking said arriving Monday. Will not do business with extreme terrain again if lying to get my business only works once.

Excellent inventory

The first time looking for off-road parts in such an extensive selection. Makes everything easier and an experience to remember for the future. I will definitely continue to choose this site for all my future parts needed.

They will sell you "guaranteed fit" that does not fit.

They will sell you "guaranteed fit" parts that don't fit. In fact, they will knowingly sell you products from previous generation cars that no longer fit and always offer you to simply return them, of course you pay for shipping and hope they don't reject your return. I ordered wheels for a 6th gen 4Runner that were guaranteed fit, well they did not fit, in fact they were for 5th gen 4runners and needed different lug nuts. The lug nuts needed simply do not exist. Good luck getting through their AI Chatbot that will transfer you to several probably drunk agents that keep asking you to repeat the issue your having. If you call, you'll be met by someone working in a shop that will slur his words into a drunk word salad that doesn't make sense.

All jokes aside, these guys even recommended conical/acorn lug nuts for a meg style wheel.. that's straight up unsafe and most shops will refuse to install that.

I always look for good deals but after this experience i'll be happy to pay 20% more elsewhere.

UPDATE: ExtremeTerrain reached out to look into this situation, will update.

The Extreme Terrain site is easy to navigate

The Extreme Terrain site is easy to navigate and provides very good product information. There is also a readily available chat and technician call service available for those of us who want even more detailed information. I tried the chat service which redirected me to the call line. My job required my attention so I couldn’t ask the question but after reading the product description more carefully I found the answer.

Wrong parts description

i would like to leave a review but your links do not load. So here is my review.
my order, order# 23-42509906, is very disappointing. I ordered a clutch kit and a throw out bearing. The item description for the clutch kit stated it came with a clutch disk, pressure plate, pilot bearing, slave cylinder, and alignment tool. Plus i ordered a throw out bearing as well. When the order arrived the clutch kit was missing the slave cylinder. Instead it had a throw out bearing in it. After I spoke to your representatives I found out that YOUR item description was incorrect in the parts the clutch kit included. Now I have to search around my towns parts stores to find a slave cylinder to be able to have my mechanic replace the clutch in the morning. You caused this delay or inconvenience. Your chat help only offered to replace the order or to return the order. I called and spoke to someone and the confirmed that the items description on your website was listing the wrong parts included in the clutch kit. I was offered a store credit of $110 or $55 refunded to my credit card. As well as the extra throw out bearing, i was offered $31 in store credit and i took that. After purchasing a slave cylinder, an extra $106, I am waiting to take you up on your offers on the clutch kit because i want to make sure the parts listed fits.
Again, I am very disappointed in this whole order. Your customer service did an amazing job with my questions and hadthe answers.

More filtering options

Overall, a great experience, though the search functionality could be improved. I would have loved more granular filters to narrow down my results. For instance, when shopping for running boards, being able to filter by material (like aluminum vs. steel) would have made the process much more efficient.

When you were entering your vehicle information on our website, did you enter the 2026 Bronco Sport information? When I went to our pages for the Bronco Sport, I do not see that we had tail light guards available for that model at this time. I do apologize for the confusion and the frustration you experienced.

We do show that we received the item back and the refund was issued via store credit as requested when the RMA was set up. We also issued you an additional credit to your ExtremeTerrain account. this credit can be used on a future order and is valid until 6/30/2026.
