This company is practically a scam. First they are not "Canadian" they in the US. I suspect all their reviews on the website are fake.

I ordered two pairs of glasses. The glasses that arrived were my prescription but in the wrong frames. I had them checked at my optometrist who said they were very poorly made.

I requested a refund (guaranteed on their website) the refused and refused. Tried to argue about sending me new ones. I finally quoted their own guarantee to them. They agreed but gave me only a few days to action this (nearly impossible in current Canada/US shipping rules).

I finally got them to extend the return deadline and they were delivered back. Weeks have gone by and still no refund.

The website has gone up and down, codes for frames have changed.

Avoid. They are a SCAM company.

Not a Canadian Company. They would do well to change this misleading information. There is no way of knowing that you are not dealing with a Canadian company until you see your credit transaction in USD, not CAD as "Shultz".

There is no way to cancel an order on the website. I went ahead with the order because of the stated 100% refund policy. They got the order wrong. I cannot use the glasses, because I cannot see through them, and I ordered transitional lenses which are supposed to tint in the sun. They do not. In the end they wanted me to pay more to have the glasses remade for an additional cost with the caveat of "giving them a five star review". There's no way I would do that. They did refund me the difference between USD and CAD, but I have a $200 pair of glasses that I cannot wear.

There is no cancel order button on the website. The customer chat is responsive but makes it really hard to cancel the order. I canceled within 12 hours of purchase, and they said it could not be canceled because it was in the lab process already??? Keep in mind that they stated a 100% risk-free policy: return within 14 days for a full refund.

I bought a pair of prescription swim goggles from this site and they were very expensive for the quality. They leak every time I use them, even after multiple adjustments, and are basically unusable. I also tried to cancel the order before it shipped, but customer service refused. Overall, the product and the support were disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend them.

US based company out of Henderson Tennessee. Was chatting with the company and asked why it was called Eyewear Canada and yet the first currency that comes up was USD. Asked where they were located and it was confirmed they are out of Henderson Tennessee. If you are looking to order from a Canadian company this is not the one to order from.

A scam company actually located in US but they pretend to be Canadian as the name says. The glasses they sent is of very very low quality. When I asked for return they are asking me to ship it to US at my cost or they can send me another pair if I only pay shipping but the product is not worth the shipping cost. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE.

The worst. Believe all the one star reviews. I made a purchase from Eyewear Canada. Cancelled my order within the hour because my credit card was charged by Shultz Optical out of Nevada AND in US dollars. I received an email confirming my order cancellation. They NEVER refunded my money. I reported them to my credit card company who refunded my money and is now pursuing Shultz Optical. What a fraudulent company. They are not Canadian but advertise as such. They do not answer their phones or email.

Scam company associated with Schultz Optical. They have many Canadian branded companies that are not Canadian at all. They will take your money, and if you're lucky, you will get a cheap, knockoff pair of glasses with the wrong prescription.

My first online experience for prescription glasses and DID NOT DISAPPOINT. eyewearcanada.ca has proven its worth in gold by providing superior service to walk-in Optometry store. They don't stop working with you, helping to resolve your need for prescription glasses until have the best fit. They know what is needed to deliver a good business model. And they found that model. order safety glasses oct 27 2023. did not receive them. sent them an email a month later. They are not good at responding to emails. Safety glasses finally arrived Dec 21 2023. The glasses are exactly what I ordered. Because of my bad experience with eyewearcanada I will never use their site again and recommend others not to go thru the frustration they put me thru.

this was my 2nd online prescription glasses purchase. my 1st was from clearly and this time their price was more than my insurance allowed(CA$400). also their frame (rayban titanium) broke on that order. i found a lower price and ordered from eyewear canada instead. i assumed they were canadian - yes i should have researched first. the credit card charge was to schultz optical in the usa. company is not canadian. then i found some scary reviews online and got worried. then my insurance co. rejected the claim as unknown supplier but after several phone calls they finally accepted it. also important had the invoice been in us$ they would have only paid as if it was in CA. luckily the invoice from schultz actually was CA$. next worry i had was delivery. i declined delivery by fedex US$50 more so they sent it by mail. they told me us mail so i was worried it would get lost and no tracking no insurance. thankfully, it was delivered to my house by canada parcel post. last issue was expected delivery date. online it showed shipped within 5 days of order but customer service told me it was mailed 2 weeks after that. i believe they lied cos it arrived 2 days after my call. total time was 3 weeks from date ordered to delivery. the prescription was perfect. frame (titanium gold) appears good quality. am happy with purchase but i think if schultz optical was clearer about who they are and explained the delivery method better they would have fewer bad reviews. one small hack that might help - i paid with a no exchange fee credit card and actual charge was less than the CA$ invoice from schultz. so insurance actually paid more in CA$ than i paid on the card - saved me enough for a coffee and donut!

I read this site’s reviews AFTER I ordered my safety glasses from this company and was horrified thinking I got scammed. Waiting not so patiently for them to arrive… when they did (2 weeks) I was ready to try them on and ship them back. But.. I was pleasantly surprised that they were great. No bull the progressive lenses with auto darkening were perfect!

Stay away from these Chinese scammers. They go with the word Canada. They charge you in USD with no indication on their website that it has to be Canadian dollars. Then they don’t give you a tracking number for your order. Customer service chat representative is using Google translate to understand English. And to write things down in English. They tell you your product will ship to you without a tracking number or reference number and you just have to believe that your eyeglasses will cross the border in a week and then another week to be delivered to you with hopefully with or without a tracking number. I have never had such bad unethical business such as this one ever in my life. I hope I receive those eyeglasses otherwise I’m gonna sue this company.

Eyewearcanada.com / Shultz Optical. Just received my order SG2886 Prescription Safety Glasses - ANSI Z87.1 Certified. My initial reaction was not great, glasses were shipped from China. When I examined them the frames where miss-shaped and did not fit properly, with one arm is bent outwards. I'll be contacting the company.

Plz plz do not buy from this site I tried ordering basketball glasses for my son ordered it in December they gave me no updates about it no tracking number or anything to identify the pacakge they said this is because the shipping is slow mail. That where I should have known this is not a good site to order it eyewearcanada but shipping from China and there based in the US. On top of not getting any updates on my order I constantly had to ask customer service for an update and when they said it arrived I did not received the pacakge it had been lost. And when I ask for a reorder in January they tried charging me shipping 40 dollars for their mistake and it February now I lost 145 dollars and my son's basketball season is ending and it still didn't arrive I still had to ask for an update for the remake and today[Feb 5] it said it was delivered however it was returned although I live in an apartment they never left a post slip or anything and when I went to the post office they couldn't find my package because it didnt have a tracking number i told them about slow mail nothing and the company refuses to give me a refund. Overall just trash I wasted too much time and effort and I can honestly say this site a scam plz avoid them it frustrating losing money u worked hard to earn

BEWARE of Shultz Optical! They are a bunch of liars and thieves! I ordered prescription water goggles for my hubby’s birthday June 29,2022. They came July 11, 2022. They fit very badly for full grown man. Finally got approval to return them August 11, 2022. They received them August 18, 2022 in Henderson TN. I live in Canada. Since September 5, 2022 I’ve been contacting them by phone, text, and email to get my full refund of $253 USD and they still haven’t credited my credit card. It’s now January 30, 2023! STAY AWAY FROM eyewearcanada.com and Shultz Optical.

My package was missing, they said it was delivered but i never recieve anything. I tried to chat with them online to figure out the situation, and i wanted to get a refund but they tried to convince me to pay the shipping fee for another pair. And i insisted to get my refund because it took them so long to deliver and their customer service is really bad and unprofessional, i dont wanna deal with it again. But they never reply my email again.

Ordered 3 frames on September 19, 2022. When I received them they did not fit so I contacted the company to request a refund. They tried getting me to keep the frames (which did not fit?????) and after a discussion, they approved a refund request. I returned the frames promptly, according to their directions On October 4th (the day after I received them). I sent 2 emails to inquire about my refund but they were unanswered., So I called them. They told me I should received my refund in the next day or so which would have been October 24/25th) As of today November 7th, I have not been given my refund. THIS is why I don't shop for these things online! You don't know what your getting, they try to get you to keep something you don't want and can't use, and then you have to chase companies for your refund. Madding & Ridiculous! STAY AWAY, this company sucks!
UPDATE: I called again week of Nov 13 (cant remember exact date) and was told refund was being processed....nope! Started an online chat November 23rd and was told the refund was processed..... Nope! I asked when was it processed? And then I was ghosted! I called again today (December 2nd) And was told AGAIN refund was processed... TODAY but was expedited by a manager...... we shall see!
