First of all, this company is based in the UK. Not Australia. Its domain has "co.uk".
I subscribed for a month and I have had multiple online chats which only a small proportion was legitimate users. About 1/30. Most of them were probably F-Buddy UK employees engaging with copy & paste generic exchanges and another proportion of agents just trying to get your email address to bombard you with emails carrying infections attachments. Do not open them.
When I noticed it after only a few weeks, I have requested the subscription to be cancelled. However this is not something you can do it yourself on your account settings. You need to send them an email. Wait to be ignored and send a couple of more emails. Them they will reply it with the most comic complicated procedures of online cancellation ever displayed. After that you get your bank account debited again and start to whole process again.
The beautiful part is when you need to explain all you have been through to request a refund. After some ignoring and sending a few more emails, you finally get a response "I'm sorry to inform you that your claim has been declined by our Billing and Compliance Team, and their decision is final."
