Bought a very expensive swivel chair…

Bought a very expensive swivel chair with all the promise of a bullet proof guarantee…
The design and quality of the product doesn’t match the price point, when things break they will attend to the first problem anything after that you get branded with the excessive wear clause and they refuse any further warranty claim. Poor quality products that they pretend to back with a sham no quibble warranty.
FYI… the chair only lasted 7 months!
Oh, and if they say their assessors are independent, take a look at which company provides their warranty and then look into who comes to assess it?!

We bought a 2 x 2.5 & 2 seater settee…

We bought a 2 x 2.5 & 2 seater settee and a sofabed in oct with a guaranteed delivery for Christmas. A week before Christmas NO PHONE CALL so I ring the shop whom explained that the transit company in Italy had gone bust and to phone customer service which I did, they said it was out of their hands and would phone us on 30th Dec with a update for delivery in Jan. I obviously was not happy as when you guarantee something you are committing yourself irrespect of fault. Our sofabed was otherwise in the warehouse and we were told there was no delivery slot before Christmas I had a verbal fight to say they guaranteed this delivery, hence they managed to find 1 for the sofabed on Christmas eve
which had to go in the living room as we had nothing to sit on.(Christmas/new year was pretty much ruined )
On 30th dec NO PHONE CALL I called them and customer service put me straight back in touch with the shop for them to deal with, the lady I spoke with was honest and said she had no update and would ring me 2nd Jan, which she did and said it would be the warehouse for 13th Jan and would get a phone call for delivery on 15th Jan. NO PHONE CALL! So I rang them at customer services to be told it wasn't in the warehouse but expected in on 20th Jan. We had a phone call to say the settees were in and would be delivered on Thurs 30th Jan and we would get a call Wednesday for a delivery window. Well on Tues 28th we had a phone call to say the furniture would be delivered on 4th Feb. Well I had had enough, I said it was already booked for delivery and we had arranged the day for someone to be here when we received the window slot, it appears that the people booking the delivery had not put it in their system, so I'm told. We couldn't except delivery on Tues due to work commitments, had to have it delivered on 7th Feb. We had a call on Wed to say delivery window was 9.45-12.45. So my daughter in law was on standby to pick my granddaughter up from nursery. ( also I had to notify head office that the sofabed was to be moved into the bedroom as the delivery men needed that authorised I had this proof on email).
11.30am thurs we had a notification saying it was 34 mins away. 12.20 the tracker said it was 29mins away. 1pm I phone customer services explained I had a school run at 3pm and needed to be gone no later than 2pm..she said it was 15 mins away. 1 30pm no show, phoned again she said it was 1 minute away 2.10pm they turned up , didn't know anything about moving the sofabed, so had to show them the email. Settees are lovely, staff at fab castle marina are great. Customer services appalling and if this is how they look after their customers whom have spent alot of money, then no wonder they went into administration. The most important part of any buisness is the after care. NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND OR USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and to top it all I made an official complaint to head office and guess what I'm still waiting for a response, I won't hold my breath

I brought two 2 Seater cuddle chairs…

I brought two 2 Seater cuddle chairs and a foot Stool back in October and waited 8 weeks. Finally when they arrived they came damaged one of the chairs had the dust sheet ripped along the bottom the other chair one of the arms the fabric had been streched to much which made the top of the arm flat also both also both chairs were at different hights, and the foot stool had a black mark on the corner, after numerouse phone calls , engineers turning up and me loosing over £500 in loss of earnings due to having time off work to allow engineers to carry out the work at my home, finally on the 21st of February 2025 all the repairs will be completed 4 month of hell i will never recommend this company to anyone what a huge let down when you are spending over £2500 YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I have emailed Fabb Furniture with all details they requested and they have totally ignored me.

Delivery guys

Brought 2 x 2 seater sofas & a chair from MK store. Sales guys were great but delivery team are naff. On the day of delivery they turned up & said they couldn’t fit through the door as the backs/feet don’t come off. So as we are a coachhouse on the 1st floor they had to take them back. Returned to the store & sales guy there suggested we could either pick a replacement (lead time over 12 wks) or the other option was they could put us in contact with a guy who could dismantle them to get in the house then put back together….cost to us 200.00 per item..we loved the sofas so went for that option.

End of story is 2wks later the guy turns up & turns out the sofas come apart just like any others.

Fabb Furniture please introduce product knowledge to all staff & delivery teams so additional vast costs aren’t encountered by the customer. outsourcing to a man & a van setup (as it would appear) isn’t doing your reputation any good.

Avoid like the plague. Read the small print

Avoid like the plague! Product was good when it finally arrived later than promised, but their customer service is dreadful! Make sure you read the very small print, because they will give you an expected delivery timescale of a 2 week period, but the very small print says it could be a further 3 weeks. The orgainsation of their delivery is poor. Trying to make a formal complaint was hopeless. I was planning on purchasing more from them, but I would never go back there! They just fob you off and no idea of customer service!

Do not ever buy anything from Fabb…

Do not ever buy anything from Fabb furniture.
I’ve spent nearly £5000 on furniture, including sofas, from Fabb Furniture. They promised a lifetime warranty, assuring us they would fix any issues with the products, even replacing them if needed. They also encouraged us to purchase additional insurance for £300. Within just seven months, one arm of the sofa arm broke completely, but they sent someone to repair it. A few months later, the structure of the sofa deformed, and now they refuse to address any defects after one year. We’re still paying off the loan for this furniture, as we don’t have the money to pay upfront.
When we complained about the issues, they told us there was nothing they could do, stating that it wasn’t a manufacturer’s fault. As a result, Fabb refused to honor the warranty. The sofas are incredibly uncomfortable now, and there’s no foam left in the arms.
After purchasing from Fabb, we discovered local stores offering much better products—at one-third of the price—along with more attractive designs. I believe many of the positive reviews on their site are fake and seem to be added for their benefit. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against buying anything from Fabb Furniture.

Really disappointed.

Really disappointed.
Spent almost £3k on 2 electric sofas. Showroom staff constantly stated what a great warranty came with them, "no matter what goes wrong it will be sorted" Less than 5 months use, 1 end of the 3 seater has collapsed. First tech to visit lied saying we were happy with his poor attempt to rectify it. Second tech agreed there was an issue and recommended 2.5in of a specific foam was needed to fix it and needed a further visit/additional time. But he wrote on his report "not a manufacturer fault" Because of this Fabb aren't interested in doing anything to sort it under warranty. In fact they're pretty blunt, bordering rude in their responses, basically calling us liars. Even though a 5 month old sofa needs 2.5 inches of foam to fix it (this is actually stated on the report) , it's not a warranty issue and we have to pay for any repairs. Would never buy from them again and would advise anyone else to steer well clear.

No sign of the bed we ordered

Ordered a bed on 13 October with a nine week lead time. It's now 1 Feb and no sign of the bed, so that's 16 weeks and counting...
I've called them 11 times (both customer services and store) and repeatedly told "it is due from the supplier" and they will call me back with an update "within 24 hours". No one has ever called me. Never get a straight answer and no one ever takes ownership of sorting out the problem. Awful customer service.
We're planning to refurnish our house over the next year, and it won't be with this company. Shame, because they have some nice stuff and our experience with the sales person was very good - doesn't make much difference if they never deliver the goods though.
Would give zero stars if I could to match the number of times they have called me back.

Update: eventually Fabb admitted that the bed we ordered was unlikely to ever be delivered due to a dispute with the supplier who was withholding delivery after Fabb were transferring all bed supply internally to Nick Scali which now owns the business. Managed to get a refund (so hold out for one if you are in a similar position to us). We've taken our business elsewhere despite them attempting to offer us the opportunity to buy one of their "great" Nick Scali beds. Nice try, no thanks!

Shocking Customer Service

Don’t purchase anything from this retailer. Staff in store are very nice but are let down by poor product and shocking customers service. I mean really bad. They try to force me to except a chair that was clearly faulty. Not interested in customer care. They meet there match with me as I got a total refund back from my credit card provider once I share with them my experience with Fab furniture customer service.

Completely untrustworthy company

Completely untrustworthy company. I purchased 2 sofas for a little over £3k.

There was a sales representative on the day that “gave us a deal” of £100 off per sofa, little did I know that in the fine print of the terms and conditions this meant we lost electronic headrests, replaced by manual. At no point did the representative let us know this is where the “£100 off” had come from.

We were told we had 2 options cancel the sale and lose the deposit or pay the extra £100 per sofa.

The customer is always right unless it’s Fabb Furniture. Completely misguided, I wouldn’t deal with this company again in the future as I would like to think that the manager would’ve mediated this situation but he had no control to be able to.

We now have to hope the sofas are okay as I can’t imagine what dealing with their issues department would be like as they have no regard for customer service provided they get their money.

Edit:
To add to this it turns out the defining factor in the order sheet was the product code to represent whether the headrests were manual or electric. Just when I thought they couldn’t get any worse, how does a customer know what they represent.

I cancelled my order within 48 hours which the paper work shows would be no charge. When I tried to cancel I was told £25 fee would apply when I challenged this they said head office had changed policy. They agreed to refund but no mention about fee they removed £25. I will challenge this but stay clear over priced goods very poor customer service and a company that does what it wants. Read the reviews about customer services very poor. It’s right shop service experience good but once you pay no service at all . Would give 0 stars if I could managers never around when required

What customer service…?

I have waited since September for my delivery of a footstool. Almost 4.months. The furniture is beautiful. I am really happy with it. I will not however ever purchase from Fabb furniture again. Non existent customer service. I emailed the C.S Team twice in relation to my delivery and never received any reply.

Worst experience ever! - Stay Away!!!

Worst experience ever! It was way worse than this but I’ll try to outline at least few of the issues.

January 24 - They only said that they have a “non cancellatiin policy” after I signed and placed a £5k order.

September 24 - they have sent a delivery team without informing them that they need to collect something aswell, therefore the delivery team said they are going out to make a phone call to check with their manager and they just run away, disappearing without delivering the goods - that was just too much for us.

June 24- they delivered the dining furniture and (£800) mattress with broken packaging and dirty on a side, their sales rep said “use it as normal, when the the bed will be delivered the mattress will be replaced with a brand new one” then they refused to replace it and no matter what I tried they will not replace it.

An year later and I still do not have the bedroom furniture, and I already have issues with the dining funiture which was delivered 6 months ago- the quality they are advertising is not (always) true!

Terrible customer service - I managed to cancel the bedroom furniture (which was never delivered)only atter going through ombusman.

They have now been bought by Nick Scali which I hope will have a better guideline when it comes to customer satisfaction, although I doubt if they are keeping the same employees.

I bought in the past year furniture from Oak Furnitureland(twice), Dreams, Feather & Black, Ikea and with some of them I had little issues but we manage to sort them out and everything went really smoothley. However, nothing like with Fabb Furniture.

Items ordered early January and arrived July. Supposed to arrive in March!

Terrible customer service. Made me feel like somehow I was in the wrong! No updates from them. Took me to chase. I managed to get a couple of hundred pound off in compensation for the huge delay. The order was over £2000 but that did not make up for the huge amount of time it took me to continually chase and contact them. Awful from start to finish.

The delivery men did not wear shoe coverings and walked black all over my new carpets.the sofa also got very black and dirty upon arrival. Looked like black marks from the van. They did send a clearer out to clear the marks off the sofa but that is not what you expect to do for a new sofa!

Product is nice but plenty of other places have similar products at roughly the same prices so I’d avoid these guys at all costs!!!!

Continually gaslit by this company

Purchased furniture in July with a baby due in Nov. Advised in store latest delivery would occur would be early October. Late sept came and got a call saying delivery would be delayed and happen by first week of November.

Got to late Oct and called to see when delivery could be booked and then got gaslit by saying they had already advised us delivery would happen last week of Nov. Complained and they offered £100 off but refused to listen back to calls to confirm we were told early Nov NOT late Nov.

Got to late Nov then had to phone them to find out more only to be told furniture wouldn't arrive to them until Dec. They offered £100 off. Upon questioning they meant the £100 off they had already deducted earlier! Order total is £3500. Throughout this they continually reminded us that cancellation was not an option.

Have submitted a formal complaint and a data request, both of which have been ignored.

Customer service was abysmal. Furniture has arrived and is good but we paid an additional £40 for easy move feet attachments. These were demonstrated in store and looked great. We were not, however, told they were only compatible with only one piece of the set we purchased (matching set). The other items have damaged our floor. Called to point out what we assumed would be an error and we were told only the 2 seater was compatible with the feet. So we paid £40 extra for 8 plastic cups on one sofa.

If I could give a ➖ I would

If I could give a ➖ I would, please DO NOT BUY from this company! I have already written a review and it’s been removed. I paid 3,000 for two sofas and took 12 weeks to deliver when we were told 7 weeks. Sofa was delivered and was broken. Contacted store who came out and said yes it was out of alignment and she would need to get someone out to fix it she then took photos.(obviously not very good at photography).Iv since chased it up twice and spoken to customer service who have said they won’t be taking the matter any further. We payed £3,000 straight away and they were happy to take the money. Delivered a broken sofa and now nobody wants to take any responsibility. The staff in the store were all very pleasant until the items are delivered. Again they pass the buck saying it’s out of their hands. Now having to take legal action within a month of delivery
