Terrible

It's time this company should go out of business. The customer support team are lazy and unbothered and if u point that out they are outright rude. Shame on Fabindia

Kurta Panama’s

Kurta Pajama’s . I bought XXL . Thank God . I fit into XL though. Now after washing and drying the size reduced from XXL to XL . The Pajama became L size. So if you are Punjabi don’t buy there cause our sizes are big and their tailor’s chew out on the cloth. Nice store but this thing sucks.

A gift was ordered form the online store for my relative's birthday, and they delivered the wrong order. After continued persuasion, they decide on just taking back the wrong item, with no plan to deliver the original order.
Very frustrated with their customer support.

The lost trust and last buy

The worst experience. I bought a tray which was displayed with 30% discount sticker at the till was removed the sticker (at fab india experiemce at sarjahpur, bangalore). Apparently it was a mistake, that someone stuck a discount sticker. Not to be trusted. I lost my long lasting trust and faith in fabindia.

Purchased a saree online. On receiving the item you realise the absolutely terrible quality of the product for the exorbitant price you paid. The exchange policy has so many exclusions that it is almost non-existant.

Extremely Disappointed with FabIndia’s International Shipping Experience

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

I’ve been a long-time customer of FabIndia and have always admired their product quality. However, my recent international order experience was deeply disappointing and has forced me to reconsider shopping with them again.

I placed an order on FabIndia.com and paid the full product and shipping price. However, upon delivery, I was slapped with hefty customs duties, almost as high as the product cost itself. At no point during checkout was I warned about these charges or given an estimate. This lack of transparency is unacceptable for an international brand.

When I contacted customer support, I received a template response, stating that customs duties are the recipient’s responsibility and pointing me to generic policy links. They refused to take any accountability or offer even partial reimbursement. I wasn’t expecting a refund — just acknowledgment that the process was misleading and poor.

For an established brand like FabIndia, this kind of poor post-sale support and zero empathy is surprising. Many global retailers now either include duties upfront or provide a proper breakdown during checkout — FabIndia provides neither.

If you’re ordering internationally, beware: you may end up paying far more than expected, and you’ll be left on your own to deal with customs. I strongly urge FabIndia to rethink their international checkout process and offer clearer information to customers before purchase.

Until then, I can’t recommend shopping from them outside India.

Worst customer service on the planet (literally)

I bought a top at FabIndia Kolkata (Loudon Street) today. All the staff seemed miserable. One took her frustrations out on me by telling me that the reason that the reason they did not have stock in my size was because I should lose weight. That’s a direct quote.

Yet, there were items in my size so the issue could not possibly be anything else!

Poor Customer Service and No Accountability

I ordered online from Fabindia while visiting India and provided my international number which the courier website translated to an Indian number, supposedly verified the OTP at the address I am at and delivered it to me in person. The Fabindia customer rep insinuated that I was lying as it was OTP verified and would not address the issue. This is not the same company I have been buying for the last 10 years.

PLEASE STAY AWAY AND DO NOT BUY FROM ONLINE.

Don't even worth one star

Worst customer service ever. My husband is US citizen. He bought clothes while visiting India with his cousin around 37000 INR. I didn't like the quality and sizes were off. We returned them with original tags and receipt all the way back to india. Customer service decline to take it. We requested vouchers but they refuse to do it. Fab India only wants to make money. The clothes are very expensive and not up to the mark. Fab India doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

No common sense

In January 2024 I bought a top from Fab India in Commercial Road, Bengaluru.
It was simply too hot to try on the garment because their air conditioning is as pathetic as their service.
I had already bought another garment in the same size just the day before and that fir me well.
This new garment that I purchased, while being the same size, did not fit me.

I went back the next day to the same outlet (Commercial road) and asked for it to be changed and was told it was not possible because it was a sale item even though there was a size larger in the same colour that I needed. All tags were in place and obviously the item was unused.

I asked for the manager and the chap who was speaking to me said he was the manager. I told him all I wanted was a larger size and he flatly refused to exchange. I reminded him that he should use his discretion and it would be good for him and the outlet because I would give them both a good review. He still idiotically refused.

And then I lost it. I raised my voice and argued with him threatening to take the matter to the paper and to the higher management and finally he relented and I got the larger size.

In conclusion, FabIndia needs to train their staff and review their policies. If not for the clothing that I find agreeable, I would not step into that particular store. They are truly a bunch of imbeciles who seem incapable of any common sense.

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. Would rate 0 if I could. I ordered a number of items online, and weeks later they still had not even shipped; customer service kept promising that they were ready to go and would be sent immediately, but this was not true. I cancelled the order and was initially promised a full refund due to the delay, but never received any refund nor did I ever receive any of the items. Customer service just stopped responding to me. Do not order from them!!!

They don’t deserve a ⭐️

They don’t deserve a ⭐️. I had placed an order. Some of the products were very expensive and they misplaced or misshipped 5 products from my odrer. I had to call several times and they only kept on saying they show as dispatched. They never owned any responsibility. I lost my 25000 rupees, my time to follow up. Worst ever experience. I would never buy products from them. Please beware before buying products from them. I felt like its a fraud.

Very bad experience with online purchases

I have had so many problems online orders, I have decided not to buy online of FabIndia site.

I have never had any problems with any other online stores even tho I'm an nri and often cannot enter an India number. But this company insists on sending otp only to an India number. while every other BRC business also sends OTP to email because not all NRIs have an India number, this very "well-reputed" company cannot even provide this simple resolution.
The delivery person was unreasonable and rude, I have a record of all the transactions, payment, invoices etc. he had my mother's (India number) recorded on his phone and could hear it ring when he called.
Yet he insisted on an otp. But wouldn't send the OTP to my mother's number. Defies logic. How can I possibly scam when I have already paid ?

I called the customer service number and they assured that my mother's number will be acknowledged as the India number but yet to hear back from them. In the meanwhile, I have been locked out of my login and am unable to retrieve the orders or update my mobile number !
Ridiculous service, even if you can call it that !
