Back in 2020 we agreed a price with these people and on the day before it was supposed to go through they become quite hard to get hold of eventually we got hold of them and they said they could only get an amount 10,000 pounds less than original offer, we were in a terrible position given that we were exchanging contracts on another house which had been a difficult purchase, we were in an impossible situation which left us having to take offer but felt completely let down and out of pocket I would never ever suggest these low lifes to anyone they are a Con merchants, said the secretary had made a mistake with the figures they could offer, just prey on vulnerable people , I just hope my experience will help others not use them even if desperate as they will exploit you

Dealt with Joel at fair and fast and cannot recommend the service enough if you are after a fast sale at a fair price these are the people for you. After accepting the offer which was the best offer I had received from a fast sale company my property was sold within 2 weeks with no quibbles or renegotiation. We started dealing with max from fair and fast house buyers , he provided us with a buyer within 24 hours at a price we accepted . It was a commercial property so was subject to VAT which was mentioned several times in the opening conversations.
It was agreed that they would pay all the solicitors costs which was agreed between mine and the purchasers solicitors .
The contract was drawn up and my solicitor dealt with the buyers solicitor and all was going smoothly or so we thought .
The buyers solicitor asked for some paperwork from HMRC to confirm the VAT element which we promptly contacted HMRC about . My solicitor explained to the buyers solicitor there would be a period of time before HMRC could provide this due to their backlog. We chased this continuously and ensured it was provided . We had no contact from Max and everything went quiet. When my solicitor contacted the buyers after the Christmas break they said they were pulling out with no reason. When we contacted max we were told that more commercial properties had come available due to Covid and the vat element they were unsure of .
We lost a large amount of rental income as they wanted vacant possession. The whole experience caused us major stress, anxiety and financial loss which has put pressure on my family.
Not only that my solicitor still has not been paid .
I have tried to contact max on several occasion and he still has not contacted me.
I would definitely not recommend this company .

Fair and Fast dropped the offer price 3 days before completion. I did not accept the offer so they refused to pay the solicitor fees even though I have an email stating they will pay all legal costs.

Update: the company have now agreed to pay the solicitors costs.

Update: Fair and Fast have not paid the agreed solicitors bill. They were keen for me to change the review and phoned multiple times to ask me to remove the review. It is a shame that they felt the need to lie rather than just be honest. Fortunately I have sold the property for well over the agreed price with Fast and Fair both the first accepted offer and second rejected offer.

This really was fair and fast! We needed to sell quickly due to a sudden change in personal circumstances. James provided clear advice and gave us a huge amount of confidence in the process. From start to finish it couldn’t have been made easier for us. Thanks again to the whole F&F team.

After receiving a fair and fast memorandum of sale for our house (~£13k below Estate Agents value) which we were happy with, we accepted, removed the house from the open market and placed the sale with the Solicitor. Approx 2 weeks in, Fair and Fast ‘revalued’ the house and withdrew from the sale process saying the new valuation would insult us. We now have to re-market the house and start the process again. Come on Fair and Fast Value the house prior to sending out the memorandum of sale and prior to instructing the Solicitor to proceed. Stop wasting people’s time and money.

Update: Fair and Fast offered some compensation, but it was under condition we removed the review. We have decided not to accept the compensation because we want other potential users of this company to be aware of what may potentially happen even after offers have been made and accepted in good faith and Solicitors instructed to proceed.

I needed to raise a lot of cash quickly for a business opportunity. I was going to put the house into an auction but the timescale was too long.
Fair and Fast were exactly that. We agreed a price and within 3 weeks the funds were with my bank. Max worked well with my solicitor and the whole process was very smooth. If you need to sell quickly you should give them a call.
