Delivery of a frig was a NIGHTMARE

I ordered an LG refrigerator for my apartment in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. The contractor who delivered the frig behaved extremely rudely and refused to let me take a handle off the elevator so the box could fit. They left. They also wanted to take the box back, which I refused to do. They blamed the vendor instead of taking responsibility. I placed a complaint with the company, Falabella, and they did not do a thing and exculpated the contractor. I will NEVER again buy a single cent from Falabella!

Very Disappointed with Falabella – Misleading Sales and No Delivery TransparencyThis is not a business they ROB YOUR MONEY

I purchased a product at Falabella on July 11, 2025, after being assured by the salesperson that it would be delivered on July 15. It's now been over a week, and I still haven’t received anything.
I’ve called customer service several times, and all they offer is a vague range of delivery dates—but they refuse to confirm a specific date, and they won't let me cancel the order either unless they first attempt delivery (which hasn't happened!). Meanwhile, they took the payment immediately.
This experience shows a complete lack of respect for the customer’s time and money. Falabella’s policies are not only frustrating but may actually violate Colombia’s consumer protection laws (Ley 1480 de 2011), especially regarding misleading advertising, delivery obligations, and fair cancellation terms.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind—avoid shopping at Falabella.
Muy decepcionado con Falabella – Venta engañosa y sin claridad en la entrega
Compré un producto en Falabella el 11 de julio de 2025, luego de que el vendedor me asegurara que sería entregado el 15 de Julio. Ya ha pasado más de una semana y todavía no he recibido nada.
He llamado varias veces al servicio al cliente y solo me dan un rango de fechas estimadas, pero se niegan a confirmar una fecha exacta de entrega. Además, no permiten cancelar el pedido hasta que intenten entregarlo (¡lo cual aún no ocurre!). Mientras tanto, el pago fue cobrado de inmediato.
Esta experiencia demuestra una falta total de respeto por el tiempo y el dinero del cliente. Las políticas de Falabella no solo son frustrantes, sino que podrían estar en contra de la Ley 1480 de 2011 de protección al consumidor en Colombia, especialmente en lo relacionado con publicidad engañosa, obligación de entrega y derecho a cancelar.
Si valoras tu tiempo, tu dinero y tu tranquilidad, evita comprar en Falabella.

They don't honor their own return policies

Absolutely nightmareish return/exchange policies. They only accept physical returns and their associates will refuse to do the returns as much as they can. Sometimes your literal only choice is to speak to the manager if you can find it on the store.
This becomes a concerning issue when the sizing is rarely consistent with their own measurements, for shoes is just random, it's just impossible to know what's the real size you will get from their website since they don't use US/UK/EUR or CM but a weird inconsistent number that means nothing.

Also: the shipping times are very random, sometimes absolutely ludicrous for a store that only sells within one country, sometimes they take longer than ordering from overseas.
