Fame Street Reviews 

I made an account with them around a year ago, and yesterday I was just about to subscribe to them so I could apply for roles. Thank god I read the reviews.

I was so disappointed to find out the ratings. And regarding the reviews, they literally made another account pretending to be one of the customers that got scammed…💀

Disgusting and embarrassing, and you can clearly tell it’s fake if you know which one I’m referring to. Just do some light digging.
Their website doesn’t even look professional. It looks like something a sleepdeprived teenager threw together at 2:31am just hours before their assignment was due.

Your website can at least LOOK appealing, but there’s so many errors. If you go to where they ask you to pay them, you have 3 options;
£95.99 - yearly
£29.99 - WHICH SAYS “£29.99/pm”, even though I’m sure it’s supposed to be quarteranually, I hope.
£12.99 - monthly

And alright, the prices may not seem like much, but for a crappily built website and a crappy scam company, that’s a lot. And don’t pull that “New Zealand” or whatever bull on me like you did with people you scammed.
Good on the person that won a lawsuit against them through PayPal💀

Anyway, just don’t sign up for this crap. Getting a talent agent is free, and if you’re in the UK, talent agents can’t charge more than 10-15% commission. While it is a long way, and there are things you need to pay a lot of money for, I’m sure it’s worth it in the end. I’m aspiring to be an actress, and I know that this website will not help me there.

Will be deleting my account with Fame Street after I’ve wrote this review.

Scam website. Make it look as though you can pay a monthly subscription and then they take the full £95. Luckily I paid through PayPal and opened a case against them and won. They are not genuine upon looking further into the company. Please do not make the same mistake as I did and do your research first

terrible terrrible site. It's a scam. Paid for a subscription yet I can't even log into my account anymore to cancel it, not because I forgot my password, but simply because it's a scam. I want a full refund and famestreet better cancel my subscription right now or else I will be posting this warning on my social media and tell everyone who is considering to join fame street that you are an illegitimate scam website.

Guys this site is a scam. Am I an actress (just small roles) and necer have I ever landed even the smallest roles on fame street. They take listings from, for example, Backstage and post it on their website. Of course you never land anything. This is just a money scam. Pay for Backstage, max! But not even there. Just get into a real agency. They will NEVER have you pay prior getting a role.

this site stinks!
you pay a load of money while you never hear back from anything. you get fooled! so I cancelled my subscription (apparently this never actually happened according to them) and 107 euros just disappeared from my bank account, yearly billing apparently... I let them know what happend and that it must be a mistake but no it wasn't ... and a refund? no way! you just lost 107 euros for something that doesn't work and you havent used in half a year! outrageous!!!

Update!
Look at the message of fame street below. This is all I got in my emails too even after explaining. So I kept on emailing them time after time. It is that I kept being persistent and probably got ‘annoying’ to them as I got a refund and they send me an email with I quote: this has now been refunded for you. And that’s all. But I got my money back , no thanks to them! Keep being persistent!

Contacted fame street regarding one of there many help and support questions one of them is 'upgraded but profile shows basic. Having paid them and seeing my profile was no longer there I emailed them.
They responded and made my account active again, with some excuse
But i noticed a couple of weeks later when checking in on my actual profile pictures, they were non existant.
I let them know this error in previous communication with them but they chose to ignore this and no recompense offered
So they took the next month's payment but my account showed no pictures

So any jobs applied for would be pointless when no photos are present.
This should be another one of their preset 'help questions " paid in full but account turned to basic and all photos lost. And no I didn't forget my password

It's great but can you guys make an app for this and I think I'm not the only one who asks this

A scam, they automatically deduct one years subscription without any prior notice given,

Avoide at all costs

Signed up to this in March without reading all the reviews and realising all this is just a rip off !! Tried cancelling nearly straightaway by following their step by step instructions online - which didnt work ! Contacted them via e-mail, which they ignored !!! Tried contacting them several times again via e-mail after, but looks like the mail address no longer exists !!

It hasn’t landed yet , been 2-3 days ?

Just wanted to post a positive review of Fame Street. We have not used them for the last twelve months but an annual payment was taken. Full refund received within 48 hours of complaining with no fuss. Thank you

I just want to tell all a genuine story to clear all the negativity written here about Fame Street.
I recently wrote a bad review about my 15 year old being ripped off for £95 as you will see below.
I now want to praise this genuine company they contacted me immediately after writing my last review and couldn’t be anymore apologetic, they explained how they use a 3rd party to collect payments because Fame Street operate from New Zealand and that because of this 3rd parties failure to implement the 30 day cancellation for refunds and other failures to upgrade accounts on time Fame Street inherited all these problems and negative feedback here on Trustpilot.
I can honestly say they went the extra mile putting this right for my son Daniel refunding him his full £95 and also giving him a goodwill gesture off £200 on top.
Now does this sound like a scam company?
No it doesn’t!!
it is in fact a company who has suffered with great magnitude due to a 3rd party company who are the ones who failed Fame Street and all its potential new customers.
Personally I feel heartbroken for them.
My son rejoined straight away after the genuine apology and the care Fame Street showed towards him and already has his first audition in our local area for a new drama.
I now feel it is I who wants too apologise to Fame Street for judging them and writing that awful unfair review before talking to them first..
Fame Street I am so sorry and both Daniel and myself wish your company all the best in the future.

They ripped off my 15 year old for £95, he cancelled the subscription within 3 mins of paying after reading these scam reviews they still took his money and blocked the account from signing in again. We are currently investigating where these scumbags operate from so we can deal with them personally..
Hope you guys behind fame street read this..
