Faran Travel (Josh!) put together an itinerary for three of my friends traveling for safari for the first time. I had previously met Josh in the Botswana bush - literally in the middle of the bush - and was excited to use him to arrange for this latest trip for me; it was done seamlessly, and had great sightings! Josh went above and beyond when planning our trip, handling every detail with care to accommodate my friends and my needs. His knowledge of every aspect of Africa helped us make the most of our trip. Communicating with him was great even through the time zone differences —he was always prompt, reliable, and ready to assist with any questions we had. Thanks to his expertise, I couldn’t have asked for a better trip and highly recommend Josh and Faran Travel!

Josh is in a class by himself. Josh is the best travel agent we have ever used. We will continue to use him for the rest of our lives.
Josh planned, coordinated and facilitated a truly amazing African Safari experience for 18 days. The trip exceeded our expectations at every step of the way.
We have traveled extensively prior to this trip, but this brought our travel experience to another level. Josh made everything seamless.
Josh worked with each of the lodges we stayed at to ensure that our dietary and personal preferences were met and that we had the best possible experiences. Every detail was taken care of. The first time we were dropped by a bush plane in the middle of nowhere and the Lodge personnel was there to meet us, I knew that we had hired the right person in Josh. Actually, the airstrips were attended, but it was by zebras, ostriches or elephants. What an incredible way to start our trip at Phinda to be greeted by zebras at the airstrip.
We would highly recommend each of the lodges that Josh picked, including Phinda Forest Lodge, Kirkman Kamp, Tongazabie Lodge, and Chobe Game Lodge. To say that each of these is a luxury lodge, is an understatement. The food, service and Game Drive experiences at each of the lodges was unbelievable. I didn’t think this level of service was still available any place in the world.
The final Safari experience was the Golden Africa Roving luxury camp, which is definitely a must. Josh truly left the best for last. You do not want to miss this experience.
If Josh is available, I would definitely recommend having him as a personal guide. His vast knowledge of Africa, his photography expertise, and his ability to interact with all of the lodge personnel, airlines, and visa agents was indispensable during our trip. He made moving from country to country with the various visas requirements seamless. Josh is just a pleasure to have with you and you know that everything is being taken care of which was very important to us since we had never been to Africa and we wanted to have as many different experiences as we could during the trip.
We can’t wait to plan our next trip with Josh!!

Josh was responsive and helpful while we discussed the requirements of our trip to Namibia. We didn't know the country, so his experience and advice were invaluable in ensuring all went to plan over the two weeks of self-drive holiday. All the accommodation was good, we were met at each location and made to feel welcome. We were lucky with the wildlife but going towards the end of the rainy season meant we had to be flexible with the travel arrangements. Josh’s agents in Namibia were helpful in organising things when river crossings proved risky on our leaving day.
Josh was keen to obtain feedback after the trip and had a caring attitude throughout, while adding his own experience and advice which proved knowledgable and relevant.

Everything was tailor made and therefore everything ran perfectly. Joshua was in frequent contact throughout the holiday to check if everything was ok. We had the most memorable holiday to Sri Lanka and the Maldives and would thoroughly recommend Joshua and Faran Travel to anyone seeking a very special holiday

I can't recommend Josh and Faran Travel highly enough - from the first contact for our proposed East Africa safari and Zanzibar, through the trip followup, he has been amazing to work with. He asked what we were looking for and our budget, and crafted a bespoke trip that fit every wish list item. Arrangements were flawless and smooth - and the lodgings were perfect for what we were looking for, a good blend of luxe and more budget friendly. Our guides were expert and provided a range of experiences both cultural and of course wildlife. It was so nice to have everything taken care of and no worries!!

Josh was so incredibly helpful in finding the ‘right fit’ for our amazing experience. He was incredibly supportive, patient and knowledgeable. The holiday turned out to be a trip of a lifetime with so many exciting experiences and memories which my family will treasure forever. Faran Travel provided a fully personalised experience. Josh designed our bespoke trip around our dates and timeframe, which fit together seamlessly. When we missed our connection and our luggage didn't make it to Lusaka, he was on the case to rebook an internal flight and help reunite us with our cases as soon as possible. It was a fantastic trip through the highlights of Zambia including incredible wildlife and Victoria Falls.

I’m just back from a wonderful trip to Botswana arranged by Faran Travel. From
my initial enquiry to the post trip follow up the service has been fantastic. Josh took time to speak with me to understand my interests and preferred travel style, and curated the perfect trip. All the places I stayed were fully briefed and set up to make the trip everything I hoped it would be.

We contacted Josh to arrange a safari trip at late notice to Zambia. He very quickly suggested 3 various options, and then arranged the one we selected quickly, with good communications throughout the whole process.
We have just returned from a superb trip that went without any hitches whatsoever.
Josh went to the trouble of contacting us during to the holiday to confirm all was progressing well.

Josh designed a custom trip for us to Southern Africa. We made the decision relatively late and he was still able to provide us with a range of options and the pros and cons of each.
We had an opening meeting and he was able to turn round the options over a weekend. Having now returned, we concluded that we wouldn't have changed a single thing about the trip. Excellent recommendations in Namibia, Victoria Falls and Botswana.
Top quality service, responsive and with an App itinerary that was edited during the trip to keep us up to date.
Would wholeheartedly recommend.
