By far the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I wasted 4 days continuously calling FareGeek to have my Etickets sent and they kept sending me incorrect information, such as a booking reference or flight changes, instead of the right number. Sometimes they wouldn't send me the information at all unless I called back. I didn't know that FareGeek was playing hard to get.
This has been the most frustrating experience and I will not be booking with FareGeek again in the future, nor will they ever meet my parents.
This company desperately needs a massive change in their customer service department and needs to improve organization and competency.
Sorry FareGeek, but you need to love yourself first before you can love others.

Cheap trick
Book a flight online. Got confirmation.
Hours later, an indian guy called"mike" told me that my flight was not confirmed and that I had to an additional 50pound to get it confirmed.
He figured he could get some ekstra money by this little trick so I cancelled and bought strayed from the airline at same price
Excellent customer service that saved me time and money
I had to book flights at the last minute for a funeral. I found a decent deal through Faregeek, but their credit card verification email ended up in my junk mail. When I called because I hadn't received my e-tickets yet, I spoke to Micky. He was very calm and helpful throughout the call - and he very helpfully spotted a better flight for me at a cheaper price. At the time I was worried that something would go wrong or that I'd get double charged, etc, but I was worried for nothing. All of my flights and connections were booked and charged properly and went smoothly. This was one less major thing to worry about during a sad, stressful time. Thanks again to Micky for all your help.

Reliable in times of Stress
One of the most pleasant experiences after a very very stressful episode at Seattle yesterday. My wife had an onward flight and the earlier connecting flight was delayed, she was at the gates 8 mins after close and could not board. He baggage had been booked thru . She had to keep running between the airlines agents to determine the next course of action: basically the earlier carrier said they had nothing to do with this, even though it was their flight which was delayed and the CSR had the audacity to say it was an "act of god". You don't put a 65 year old lady thru such stress. I had to drive some 230kms in heavy rain at 8 pm. to Seattle to console my wife.After much altercation they finally gave her hotel accommodation and apparently confirmed tickets for the next day.
The following day, we found her ticket was nogo , and the so called "Assistance" gave us a NY 212 number to call, but no one picks up the phone. I then called the toll free number of Faregeek and was promptly helped by Samuel. He re-booked the ticket , called be back twice and emailed me too with the confirmation , all in the space of about 40 mins.
Thanks to Samuel, the wife was on the flight and is now safely at her destination.

Do not use this company
Glad everyone has pleasant experience with Alden - he has now promised me my refund for 10 months and I have received nothing. I have also contacted a Philip there who has also done nothing and not even replied with lies about when my monies are to be reimbursed just hasnt replied. How they can be praised for their customer service is beyond comprehension.
Reservation and schedule change!
As i booked tickets with Ashlin couple of months ago. He was very nice and profession. Later Airline changed the flight schedule, i got an email regarding to change which was very nice. I called the 1800 number next morning and i forgot his name. He was not so much helpful, looks he is finishing his shift or some personal problem or does not like this job. Later he transferred to Schedule change department. I got very nice person Samuel. He was so helpful and profession. He tried to make sure everything was ok. He helped me to make sure baby bassinet has been added in flight because i am travelling with my little one. Looks good. Thank you Mr. Samuel. I would rate 5 star if that person helped me...

I required a name change request and I called a Travel representative called Sebastian Brown. He was so professional and with an absolute great customer service. He kept me updated through all the process and he tried solving my issue as quick as possible keeping me updated and informed. I really recommend Faregeek.

Terrible Customer Service
Terrible Customer Service. Cancelled my Flight one day before the departure and just told me via Email. No explaination. Called the hotline. Guy told me they sent an email, that they needed further information. No email could be found, not even in spam. Could just offer to get a ticket for the same flight for almost double the inital price. I was lucky i got another flight with another vendor. That one obviously was more expensive than the initial, but they did not earn one cent at faregeek.

Schedule Change managed well
Booking made with Faregeek and I was notified of a schedule change by the airline. The suggested option to reschedule meant the return flight landing 24 hours later, which was unacceptable. I spoke with Samuel in the Schedule Change team who found other options to return me on the same day as per the original schedule.
Although I faced some issues chasing updates when trying to speak again to the SC team and being informed no one was available a number of times (the Customer Services team could do a little better in this regard with more accurate information) Samuel responded promptly to emails requesting updates and secured an authorised schedule change which suits my needs. Very pleased with the outcome (as long as nothing else changes between now and take off...)!
