From the first contact, through the video call to show the scope of the work required, to the quotation by return, to the arrival dead on time to carry out the work the whole process was absolutely first class.
On this, our first exposure to Farthing Electrical, I can only say everything was absolutely first class and would thoroughly recommend them

Had a house rewired by them in 2025 & I was very satisfied with the standard of work, they also came in under budget & finished a day early.
As recently as Friday 27/02/26' I lost 1st floor lighting. Gave James a whattsapp on Saturday & he came on Tuesday to investigate & found a loose connection in socket. So farthings electrical will do the big & more importantly the small jobs as well. 👏

Professional, friendly service and extremely helpful. Turned up to do the 4 jobs exactly on time. I found the WhatsApp video call to show what work was required to provide an immediate quote extremely helpful and a novel way of doing things. Will certainly use them again if necessary.

Excellent All-Round Service. I read about them on the Which Website and rang Farthing Electrical at around 10am in the morning. I explained the small job I wanted done to James and he gave me a quote on the phone (backed up instantly by email) which I accepted immediately. James told me that Harry would visit us about 4.00pm that afternoon to do the job. Harry arrived as promised and did a brilliant job. I would recommend Farthing to all my family and friends without any hesitation

James did an excellent job sorting out our earth problem so that the house was safe again.

I needed two light fittings replacing in the bedroom. From my initial phone call to completion of the job everything was exactly as promised, from the quote to the job being done. The result is excellent and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use this company for any future work.

James was very responsive & professional to deal with. We had an overly complicated and messy outside lighting system which James managed to meticulously work through, fix what he could and replace what he couldn’t. We’ve very pleased we now have outside lights working again!

Just before Christmas our bathroom lights failed. We looked online for a local electrician and, having read the positive comments regarding Farthing Electrical, phoned James to describe the problem. He was sympathetic and booked us in for the next day. His colleague Harry came ahead of time, completely changed all the fittings and made an excellent job of it. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company and would certainly use them again.
