Hello I am a preseed startup owner and just starting out with Faster Capital representatives and I have not been told to pay any funds up front and everyone has been nice and professional so far in the first week of our correspondence and Ive done my research that shows credibility amongst the people I have been speaking to as well as with the founder and ceo. If you dig deeper you will see their backgrounds and awards and accolades etc .
I am curious as to these supposed complaints How do you know they are credible and not just backlash or from someone with their competition?
Also you state that there is no rating yet we all can clearly see that they have overall 5 stars from most reviewers which I believe are people that had done business with them or are currently doing business with them etc.
The agreement which I had submitted was reviewed by multiple ai agents stating it is professional and a standard agreement and they only want 5% commission from investors and 3% equity from the ventures.
Those the agents told me are standard in the industry and from my experience is actually half of what most accelerators/investor companies request
I had also found their active license in Dubai and it is real
So why would you flag them with a warning and saying they are in breach if more than 80% of the reviewers had positive feedback with them?
Its somewhat contradictory to one side telling people to warn against them yet on the other side you leave the 5 star ratings from reviewers
It doesnt make sense and theres been no publically known cases from anyone against them in ten years and very few complaints online in forums...which again theres 2 sides to a story and do you know the whole story?
Thats good journalism and good watchdog practices..Ive been a watchdog myself over 20 years
